    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

Just recently saw a photo with Russian special operations in Syria with Marine Corps Woodland MARPAT goretex weather coat. Pretty nifty to say the least.

Nope, I've never seen one of those on anyone's weapon, to include Recon/Raider guys I've met. And I boo-booed, should have multiquoted, oops!

Good catch, never heard of the ATPIAL-C, but it appears it has the IH/DH "stamp" placed in a different position than the PEQ-15. Reading up on the ATPIAL-C, it seems like it's a civilian version of the PEQ? ATPIAL-C https://i.imgur.com/C5AQGz3.jpg PEQ-15 off of my 240B (referenced for the 15 model) https://i.imgur.com/9ynE6wl.jpg Still though, solid eye!

As in the SDO? I'm not tracking on any ACOG that has a backup iron sight attached to it and most of our M4 series already have backup iron sights on the weapon itself.

Little bump for a great island and island maker. My buddy can spot out areas where he had firefights at on his deployment to Afghanistan, to include a very famous one for him around the gas station to the south.

    EM_buildings - new buildings

That's how I feel with PlayWithSix. Never managed to catch on to that program. As for the buildings, these are incredible! Great work man and I'm looking forward to some more!
  7. Just to think 12 years ago this is what we were working with. I used to be right there with you man! I started way back when in OFP:R and released a few packs here and there and a replacement animation pack. So crazy to see how things have evolved! Not sure if it's still around, but we used to work with a program called "OFPAnim" and the Maya plugin for the animations was just coming to light. Looking great dude, keep it up!

    CH-46 Knight

Seen that bad boy fly a ton of times around Lejeune. Wild and awesome bird.
  9. Doesn't sound like a half-bad idea, wouldn't hurt to give people some visual "confirmation" as to what round type they are shooting. I'm thinking maybe OD 100mph tape at the bottom of the mag would work.
  10. Believe he may be talking about the Raufoss round. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raufoss_Mk_211
  11. Just saw this post, glad to see you're releasing this bad piece as a standalone, you did a ton of hard work on it and I'm glad I could be a part of it! As for the reference for the Premier optic, our DM team has the same setup on our SASR (Which has already been answered but wanted to solidify it). Thanks for letting me be a part of this! The guys are blown away by it!

Just realized how old this thread is, woops.

    CH-46 Knight

No worries brother! Just don't set up a test mission with the 46 rolling in water and we will be alright. Looking forward to this aircraft, been around it before they phased it out and it's a solid piece of old school talent and work. Can't wait to see it ingame!

    CH-46 Knight

Wow. Just...wow. As a Marine, I'd be happy to beta-test this bad boy if you're looking for a few people. This bird just looks incredible. When I did the Underwater Helo Egress Trainer aka "Helo Dunker" in Camp Lejeune, we had to simulate ditching a CH-46 underwater after it rolled. The one they had setup for us was exiting the left aerial gunner's window with the .50 caliber attached. You had to shimmy over to the weapon while wearing black spray painted goggles, grab the machine gun and basically pull yourself out of the aircraft using it. That was WILD.

Daesh is a "derogatory" name for ISIS. Nice release cowardheart!
  16. Which means the Marine Corps won't seem them till 3021. Thanks DoD.

    Military Humor

You do some pretty questionable but hilarious things after so long on deploument. We came up with this game during my first deployment and it was an instant hit. We would "solve" disagreements this way, whoever won was correct. Granted it was all a game of chance and luck so even if you were absolutely correct in your argument you could still lose the argument. Ladies and Gentleman, I introduce to you "Rock, Paper, Scissors, Balls"
  19. What about custom titles for us "old farts" of the forum?

    CH-46 Knight

Awesome bird and an outstanding model flanders!. These things are a legend in the Marine Corps. I talked to a Phrog Crew Chief on my first deployment who was telling me stories about how versatile these birds truly are. Due to their tandem rotor build they were able to land them on some streets in Fallujah to CASEVAC wounded Marines in the city. I was sad to see these things go. So glad to see this bad boy coming to ArmA 3!

As Redphoenix has stated, please, please use the feedback/bug tracker. It will get noticed MUCH faster than here, especially considering the amount of responses the thread has due to the updated release.
  22. It was a joke, you brits need to learn about sarcasm that we yanks like to use a lot of. Drive on by must be a UK term, That towing addition is going to make a lot of people happy and a lot of people mad when they find out reversing with something towed is a little bit difficult.
  23. As a no shit Marine LAV Vehicle Commander I am absolutely disgusted by this comment. The only likeness between the Bradley and LAV is the M242. Leave, now.
