Does that mean they ask you first before robbing you? Â hee hee and yes criminals here in the US are a nasty lot, this country definetly has some major issues. do people really need all those guns??? "ohhh, im so stressed, i need a semi automatic rifle in order to sleep better at night, whats that homeless person doing by my garbage can? it MY garbage damn him!!!" It's not like the King of England is still around to bother us anymore.
-
Aside from the fact that they already got caught, criminals don't think that way, thats why they are criminals. Only someone who is "Law Abiding" would think to lay low after escaping from jail, but then again if you are law abiding you wouldnt be in jail in the first place.

Either he was sleeping or....well, you know

Or The Avon Lady. Watch out, or you'll be next

Yes, the team is ready to go and we are feverishly working on the storyline. Just don`t make it to short so we wat be left craving for more. I think 20-30 missions would be fantastic and I hope the cutscenes will be voice acted so we get to know the characters better raising the immersion factor and acompanied by apropriate music-classical I think would do the job. I`ve played all your other missions so I can say that I trust your judgement and I think you will deliver a great campaign. We will have both English and German speaking voice acting done and are making our own soundtrack as well, it will be appropriate for the time period without using any copyrighted material. You can also expect a decent sized campaign although at this point i am unsure as to how many missions it will have. Additionally we are also working on multiplayer and single player missions that will use the units but not be tied into the historical campaign.

What are the best flying/piloting missions?
Winters replied to Silent N Deadly's topic in USER MISSIONS
Hi Winters ! Could you please make a MP coop version of this mission ? I liked it too much and a coop version would be nice to play in my lan! Thank you ! Expect a finished co-op version to be released shortly, as my computer gear arrives in 1 week. Of course this will exclude the intro/outro but i will try to leave the radio sounds and music in if its not that large of a file. -
You can bet on that

yes very true, but in this instance it is not words they copyrighting, its a trademark, and as Noon416 explained these companys have to pursue these claims or they lose the ownership of the trademark. Tim Btw, there is a link to Toadlifes official response here Very well put together toadlife, i think that will make them think twice  You cannot claim a word as a trademark, it does not work that way. You need to create a logo and then copyright the logo as a trademark. Yes they have to pursue this even if it is frivilous, but if you read through the entire post of what i wrote rather than one line i did point out that the similarity between the content of the mission and what the LoJack system does is a violation of the trademark laws. In the mission you use a tracking device to find someone. In the LoJack system, you use it to track vehicles in case they get stolen. Even without making any money it is a violation albeit a very small one and prolly not worth the effort to aggressively pursue a lawsuit over it.
-
I stated that already, having filed several copyrights for music i recorded with several bands i do have some familiarity with the laws involved. One thing i want to point out is that you cannot copyright a "words". Thats why you have dozens of songs that have the same title but the "Content" of said song is entirely different. As long as the content of Toadies mission differs from the content of the LoJack product (which is not really true as they both are used for tracking purposes) it can be used. Also, Toadlife makes no money from his mission and that would ultimately be the basis of a trademark infringement lawsuit. So, does it violate the Lojack trademark, kinda. But, would they be able to file legal suit and win a case against him, doubtful.

Today marks the 35th anniversary of the first moon landing. Astronauts Neil Armstrong (theres that Armstrong name again) and Buzz Aldrin leave Astronaut Michael Collins behind in the capsule Columbia and land Eagle on the moons surface becoming the first men to walk on the moon. Cassie, thumbs up to you (the US meaning not the Iraqi one) for not only making a female soldier model (long overdue) but for also taking it a step further and trying to incorporate a female voice for said soldier model. I would be more than happy to make a demo mission for the unit that could be released along with your addon. Just let me know.

And the remake would be coming out soon that would have been made by Spielberg

Why dont you check out my Ofp PUB, i have several of my missions posted there, just click the button in my siggy
-
OMG, Toadie gets zero money for this mission and the LoQuack people get in a tizzy over use of the name. OFPEC should tell them this mission is free and nobody is making any money of it, then they should tell them to take a long walk off of a short pier. As soon as my PC arrives in 2 weeks i will host Operation LoJack at the PUB and i hope they try to send me some legal notice that is frivilous and is baseless, basically their legal notice carries no weight and is meant to play off of peoples ignorance of the law. This kind of bullying and intimidation makes me sooooo mad, i am going to go out and find several small furry animals and kick them now Well, not really. But it still makes me mad

That's what I mean. IMO any sensible person would refuse to write down on record the specific party he/she plans to vote for. Any person that wishes to contribute to a democracy will evaluate all parties properly before voting. Not to mention that the right to an anonymous vote is one of the pillars of democracy. So I'm just curious why that tradition of being able to register which party you are going to vote for. I guess its akin to having a favorite sports team, you root for them every year and do not turn away from them simply because of bad personnel moves made by management. I am neither registered as a democrat or republican as well. I weigh all the candidates and make my vote according to who would be the best man. It saddens me to see people voting democrat or republican simply because the candidate is "Their Parties Man" The only drawback to not declaring a party affiliation is that you are not allowed to vote in any primaries and are limited to the general election, this prevented me in 2000 from backing John McCain.

And his girlfriend is Rocker Chick Sheryl Crow

I get my stuff (by which i mean Computers) in just 3 weeks, and i will be able to join/host once again and i shall rain some doom upon the doomed heads of my doomed.

Ha Ha, thats funny Bals. It reminded me of a movie i saw as a kid, in the movie some guy (played by Elliot Gould) found evidence of a faked landing and actually found the sound stage it was done at. Of course he was promtply hunted down by the evil US gov't. Anyway, it was a bad movie but that clip is still funny.

Thats the beauty of being a conspiracy theorist, you don't need any real evidence just a voice to speak with. @ Denoir I am in full agreement with you that NASA has pathetic goals for the near future, maybe with private sector involvement a jump start to the program can be acheived. It is a shame that the program was abandoned one of the contributing factors was that people were not really interested in watching it on TV anymore and the ratings for the telecasts simply plummeted, one hard fact is that ratings = $$$$. On a side note i found this out today: Worlds First Space Dad Kinda Cool i think.

i have seen a documentary that pretty much solidified in my mind that there was NO WAY they could have gone to the moon, i think Bush is planning to go to the moon "again" so now we call all see that a real spaceship able to get thru the horrible radioactive shit (thats why the Russians never went) out there would be alot different than the one they supposedly landed with 30 years ago. and i saw one that proves we DID go to the moon. and I saw one that proves the moon is really made out of cheese! and i saw one that showed an alien autopsy

It was just a matter of time before he did
