Cheers for the replies. I guess I'll have to get GOTY, then =) As for the monitor, it is the actual soft pane on the front, and the monitor's still under warranty, but it was scratched by a well-meaning, cloth-wielding flatmate, so I don't think it'd be covered. Cheers again. -Wozza

Gidday. I bought OFP (the origina version) waaaayyyy back when, but never really played it because my computer was, frankly, crap (*mutter* *grumble* minimum requirements *grumble*) =P Anyway, I've just upgraded and started playing again, and I've downloaded the updates from the OFP page, up to version 1.46. My question is, can I upgrade further without buying anything else? (I'm, likesay, skint ;) ) I'm thinking of official upgrades and expansions and whatnot, as well as maybe user-created stuff. I saw some links in another recent post, but I figured I'd find out what version I should have and stuff, before I went downloading everything. And, on an utterly unrelated note, does anyone know if the faceplate of an LCD monitor can be cheaply replaced, if it's scratched? Cheers- Wozza

I first played it on a friend's system, he has 900mhz, 512MB RAM, and other sickeningly high specs (compared to mine) Dammit, I played bomber man once, and did the standard FPS styles, potting away at a tank with the rifle. SKID! STOP! PIVOT! Oh. Oops. And then I died of lead poisoning =P So I'm totally addicted, I played it for an hour non-stop, then blew much cash on an upgrade. Me either) TNT2 M64 PCI with 32MB SDRAM (PV-T03B) Video card 320MB RAM I dunno if anything else really matters (sound doesn't bother me too much). I don't have OFP yet, I'm waiting for the video card to arrive. So seeing you complain about your system gets me wondering if I will even be able to run the game... If not, what to do? Get more RAM? Get a better card? Or just go broke getting a better processor? Er...any suggestions would be most appreciated. Cheers- Woz
