A couple of things I can think of (mostly from back in school): Smash greenhouse windows. Blow up a mailbox with a firecracker and shoot bottle rockets down a street. Jump out of an airplane that wasn't broken. Set my school on fire (or rather a part of it). Begin smoking. Get incredibly drunk. Drink a bottle of that stuff people put on their nails to not bite them because it tastes like crap. Jump out from a roof into a football goal net. Drive my bike into a fence so I flew into the bushes behind it. Fistfights. I should add that none of these things succeded, so don't waste time doing it...

the spray and pray "tactic" also seems to be more of a film-thing rather than actual practiced tactics. From what I know, the M16 had autofire removed to prevent this very thing. Professional soldiers take aim before they fire.

In the original OFP, it seems that AI and their movement is what takes up most CPU, so unless you play big battles with 100's of soldiers, the 800mhz should do fine. The tnt graphics card lacks some of the features from the geforce series which help alot in newer games like OFP, so upgrading to any geforce card should improve performance. But if you're getting a new one, you might aswell go for geforce 3 or 4. The name brand of the card doesn't matter so much. Practically all geforce cards use the same components, they just put their brand labels on it.

Or you could inhale dangerous particles or fumes from the chemical components used in modern buildings, unless you stop breathing!

I'd gather some friends, smoke and drink like demons and then visit the towns finest horehouse. Then I'd put on some pink floyd and just meditate lying on the floor.

The people in your yearbook will never leave you. In those fragile years of personality chaping, they've set their marks on you and will affect you for the rest of your life, whether it'll be consiously or subconsiously.

Here in Denmark it has been long known about potato chips. Yet it only took a very short while for chips to return to normal sales rates. This just happens all the time, almost like "cancer-causing food of the week". Once I was really scared of cancer and things like that. But I've changed more towards the attitude that everything is more or less dangerous and no matter what, you can't safe-guard against premature death. But living in fear of it will just ruin your day. A good motto to apply for almost any situation: "F*ck it" Â

My favourite place used to be in and around the long valley on southern Everon, where the old resistance base with the artillery is. It's nice and varied for all sorts of missions. But now I like Malden better, especially at 6:30 with clear sky - it's so relaxing and harmonic Area around Larche is nice and varied, but for summer camps I like the southern part (Riviera (sp)) best.

You're right. Nothing could move duke an inch, perhaps except maturing and getting wiser later in life... we're just wasting our time and patience here, so I'm butting out of this thread.

Well, I closed as a reply to AvonLady's spam post. What I saw in my mind was a whole string of those. I don't wanna look like a cencoring dictator so I'll leave this one open for you to reply on the topic if there's any need. But if turns to spam I'll close this one too.

I agree with the whole thing, but now it just turns into spam. Then it gets closed.

Well, if you count those who actually goes to church and believe in the religion they're registered under, I do think there are more muslims than christians. Just like Oligo says, here in Denmark practically everyone are members of the christian church, while only few actually believe in the nonsense. Duke of Ray: Islam is actually a branching from the old testament, just like christianity, so essentially it's the same god. They just don't agree with the methods of worship, nor that christ is son of god. Doesn't surprise me that you didn't know this. Edit: deleted a statement

you people have lots of military dreams ... doesn't that concern you?
-
I think the biggest problem is the low rate of fire, as one shot is made to simulate 4 shots. This doesn't mean much against large and slow ground targets like trucks, but against other planes it becomes close to useless. If it had the real rate of fire, a simple strafe burst across the flightpath of the bogey would guarantee atleast a couple of bullets hit - but with this "faked" rate of fire, the bogey will most likely slip between shots.
-
When I do dream, I often have claustrophobic dreams. It's often about trying to avoid or escape something.

See a cite of the Alabama Statutes below. Alabama Statutes Section 13A-3-23 - Use of force in defense of a person. (a) A person is justified in using physical force upon another person in order to defend himself or a third person from what he reasonably believes to be the use or imminent use of unlawful physical force by that other person, and he may use a degree of force which he reasonably believes to be necessary for the purpose. A person may use deadly physical force if the actor reasonably believes that such other person is: (1) Using or about to use unlawful deadly physical force; or (2) Using or about to use physical force against an occupant of a dwelling while committing or attempting to commit a burglary of such dwelling; or (3) Committing or about to commit a kidnapping in any degree, assault in the first or second degree, burglary in any degree, robbery in any degree, forcible rape or forcible sodomy. (b) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (a), a person is not justified in using deadly physical force upon another person if it reasonably appears or he knows that he can avoid the necessity of using such force with complete safety: (1) By retreating, except that the actor is not required to retreat: a. If he is in his dwelling or at his place of work and was not the original aggressor; or b. If he is a peace officer or a private person lawfully assisting a peace officer at his direction.
