    PMC05 - Elimination

    There are 2 Stinger launchers at the back of a parked UAZ at the North area of the map. If you can't see the engine compartment that might be because you are looking from a bad aspect. try circle around the target and spot the engine.
  3. When I plug in my headset while ArmA 2 is running the sound will not switch to it, and remain on the speakers. This only happens while I play ArmA 2, in any other game, or while on the desktop, sound will switch automatically to my headset immediately once I pluyg it in. Can someone help me with this?

    If it was plugged before then no problem. The problem only occurs once the game is running. I think I tried alt+tabbing during the game and switch, but I will try it again. Thank you.

  7. Seelix, You should have asked for the mission author's permission before you published that. bboy- thanks for a great mission. when approaching the base, we receive a lot of AA fire and all my wing is eliminated.is it really suppose to be that hard?
  8. Did anyone notice that the commands that the character issues have changed? 1. When ordering "Wait for me" it say "stop", or "halt". 2. When trying to order, for example "2, target soldier" (using the "reveal" key) it says "2, engage soldier". Why is that? is the functionality changed as well?
  9. Moderators, would you please correct the typo I made on the headline of this post? "Changes" instead of "Changee"
  10. "Engage" was there, but not in response to: [select unit] --> [reveal key while pointing on a target]. In OFP, ArmA 1 and in ArmA 2 it triggered the "Target X" command, now it says "Engage" instead. Is it a change only in the text\sound of the command, or is the functionality different now? Until now, while a unit was under "hold fire", and was given a "Target X" command, it tried to aim at the target and report "ready to fire" when ready. When "fire" or "fire at will" command was given, it fired. Is the process the same now? Just the wording is different?

  12. I want my AI's to target an enemy (not attack it) when I right click on the enemy. Which function do I have to assign to my right click then? I know I can use the "2 key" sub-command target list menu using the keyboard but I want to do it using the mouse. If I am not clear enough, this is what I want to do: You move stealthy, You detect a full squad heading your way, they havn't detected you. You want to assign each member of your fire team a different enemy soldier so when you open fire, each member will fire on a different enemy. You want to complete the process of assigning targets WHILE YOUR TEAM ASSUMES HOLD FIRE. So when you will order them to open fire, they will open up together, each on a different target. There was such mechanism in OFP 1, couldn't manage to figure out how to do the same using the mouse it in arma 2.

    Hey Bardosy, thanks for this new creation of yours, as usual, it is great. Please keep on making such great custom stuff for this game. In mission two, I saw a BTR-90 parking next to me in the beginning of the mission. I used it for clearing the mortar hill, but it was very easy with it so I felt like I was cheating hehe... Did you intended that the player will use it?
  14. Thanks Gnat, but I am aiming at making a no-addon mission. F2k Sel- In my mission the pilot starts outside the Hercules and enters it later on, so the waypoint of the plane is actually the pilot's. So do I need to change anything inside the script itself? Edit: I should have put the plane's name in the script that is activated by the pilot's waypoint. now it works! Thanks a lot again F2k Se, you have solved my problem. When i will release this mission I will let you guys know of it by replying to this thread so stay subscribed :)
  15. I am making a mission with a C-130 Hercules taking off from the North Western airport of Chernarus. The pilots get inside successfully and take off, but immediately after the plane is airborne it turns hard to the right and crash into the trees. The plane can take off only when initially placed on the South Eastern end of the runway, when placing it on the North Western end it just aimlessly drives off the runway. I tried changing the pilots waypoints with no luck, it always end up in those trees. Does anyone has any ideas how to fix that?

    W0lle thanks for all your conversions. They are great. I have ArmA 2's English version and still I had "Name" instead of the actual mission name on my mission list. It contained no description, only the OFP dude picture. However, once I completed it, it showed the mission's name and its description. I have one suggestion regarding your conversions. I think that the great OFP atmosphere will be recreated better if you will add a little of some bad, foggy weather, or set the time of day to something less lighted. ArmA 2 is very saturated with light and it takes you away from the a bit grayish color of OFP. Thanks again!

  19. My attempt was to make exactly such mission. Here's the result: Bitter Memories. It got 7/10 in OFPEC. It requires no addons. I hope you will enjoy it.

    Yes, this message. I didn't try to let him die again to test but the first time I tried it definitely showed up although he was lying dead there, but only for a split second. Completed the mission now, and got him alive. First time to use an ACE flashbang- very nice... Thanks for it Wiggum, waiting for your next mission. you might wanna try mine, it's posted here.
