No one was asking any behind the scene information. The red circle being a prime example. -
Hey Kildar! Glad to see you are back in action. I'll try to come up with ideas for missions. No-resapwn missions are really required now, another reason to be happy on your return.By the way, now that you are back, will you fix the bugs in your Arma 2 missions?

Exactly my concerns. The fact that such a core design failure find its way to the game, even in Alpha stage, without anyone from the design/development team putting his weight against it, worries me. I'm glad we have the Alpha and an opportunity to voice our opinions. Hopefully, it will help BIS get back on the horse again. BIS, you must remember one thing. For every player you loose out of frustration because he is lost, blinded by the sun, find it slow and hard to climb that hill and what not, you earn three more that fall in love with the game because of the gratification they feel when they overcome these difficulties and achieve a goal. -

If allowing the played to FINALLY utilize suppression-flanking tactics makes the game easier, then yes, TPWCAS does make the game easier, but only for one who knows how to utilize suppression effect to his advantage. -
It's not the same hobby, and I refuse to be accepting the dogmas and expectations of people who enjoy childish, unrealistic games, because they threaten to destroy a game which is not. It's not a decent series. It's the reallity TV equivalent in the gaming world; Shallow, unintelligent, aims for the lowest common denominator, and stupid. Like it's even hard with the limited scope of this games. I rest my case :)

The enlarged compass (ImproveCompassSize_Visuals_C_OA_PROPER.pbo) isn't working with the latest beta. Any chance for a fix? I'm digging this thread up because I know many people use this great little addon :) -

Use Zeus AI, use TPWCAS suppression addon, and you'll have them back and more. -

Why not have the mission for 16 players? this will allow 4 guys to take command of AI teams but if more people are playing they can then populate the teams themselves. In this case go for GROUP type respawn. That is allowed also in the hardcore groups :) -

It saddens me that we live in times where people are in doubt that no-respawn missions are in demand. Let me tell you this - YES! Please make no respawn missions. We, Comrades in Arms, play ONLY no-respawn missions. You are right, it's the only way to keep the game serious, realistic and tactical. It's funny how in such a game with so much emphasis on realism, people play with endless lives (or additional two or three lives for that matter). I am aware of the fact that groups like us are becoming extinct, but I would like to think of ourselves as the true coop players, maybe last of a kind. If you ask me, those who play with "extra lives" are the ones that should be laughed at, not people who make missions for the more serious parts of the community. If people here still look for the no-respawn feeling, check my signature, and join the community group "NO respawns! NO revive!" -

W0lle, I believe there's a slight error in the way you phrased the poll. Even with the First Aid module, only medics can heal. Howrver, everybody can provide first aid, which is something like stabilizing a patient or stopping his bleeding. After being first aided, once must heal, by a medic or by stationary medic tent, APC etc. Therefore I think it should be phrased like that: Yes, please add the ability to provide first aid and drag wounded No, please keep it as the original, without the First Aid module and only medics can heal- 1308 replies

Isn't the poll suppose to be on the first post? Can't find it there. I'm with Celery on this. the First Aid module is good for coop play, but it just makes it frustrating in SP. Moreover, I prefer it to remain as close to the original as possible.- 1308 replies

Blew up the ZPU on "Through the Jungle", nothing happened. In the previous objective I found the dosier on the body but objective "investigate the village of infine didn't tick off (find the intel objective is complete though). -

This! BIS please don't block the option for using navigation skills. At least make these options toggle-able! Oh my god... You are right. That's ok but then GPS should also be a carried item you can drop and pickup! I hope Arma 3 soldiers don't have their GPS receivers sawn to their skulls... -

Saok, your mission is most likely to be renamed anyway on many servers to match their format. So whatever format you choose, keep the filename identical as possible to the mission name. -

Sure, it's allowed. but your approach, and the other COD fans approach on these forums have effect. Arma 3 is already been affected by demands of people who want it to be like COD and more like BF. The result is that a military simulator has features of stupid (sorry, I know you love these games) FPS games which dumb down the game and make it less than what it could be. If you love COD and BF so much, why not go and play it instead of promoting their features on a game that has a whole different heritage? -

Phantom, I love carrier corruption! Played it last night with Outlawz, Horus and Misha and got butchered in two attempts on the carrier. I found keys on the officer (a room on the flight deck level) and tried to access the Apache. It was still locked. However, the carrier wasn't clear when I tried it. In any case, I didn't get any feedback indicating that I got the keys. I recommend giving all players a hint when keys are found, feels a bit buggy now.

Spot on. I sign on every word, I really hope these behaviors are just because of the development stage although it does feel like BIS really tried to have the game appeal to a wider audience. Too bad for the BI community. -

I also fail to understand why BIS don't open up some schools to teach players how to behave. What? they have some money now from the Alpha now, right?
