    Hello again,

    I've started this to get some information.

    1. I bought years ago platinum editon but today I realised that my polish version lacks of Red Hammer campaign. Why? I don't know, I should have it.

    So after all those years, could someone upload 'Gold Upgrade' so that I could download and play? I think it's legal, I should have it after all...

    So please upload and post a link here or sent PM. Thanks.

    Year 2002, I went to friend to borrow some games. He brought the box and said "Take what you want".

    Operation Flashpoint

    "Ever played it?" I asked. "Nah never."

    Half year after this, 2003 I bought this shiny-just-now-lying-next-to-me-beauty Operation Flashpoint Platinum.

    After almost 7 years it's still LIKE NEW without even a scratch.

    And yes... I still play it.

    What I want to say is...

    IF... Operation Arrowhead (cool name) will be bug-free and represent fully enjoyable urban combat(both SP and MP)...

    ...then it will be worth even full price.

    Let say it this way, maybe I don't like the idea, but I am still young and know sh!t about game business. I counted on BIS since 2003, both OFP and Arma were top-notch.

    So I COUNT ON YOU BIS.

    Looks like an Operation in Baqubah with use of "Land Warrior"...

    Arma2 is playable but needs strong patching and many out-community people think this is still beta and are waiting for final....

    So BIS, Patch, optimise and have fun xD

    I DO think that we should make a POLL... (by 'we' I mean W0lle of course)

    I don't think about expansion pack with extended engine to Arma2, I think about patches to Arma2 and in next year or two...

    ...yeah year or two is hell of a time to polish the game...

    and then based on polished game make another one! Arma3 possibly...

    And now the strong part...

    I think that instead of using Arma2 or Arma3 (f*ck it, delete! xD)

    BIS should use JUST

    Some corrections.

    Again... read the forums, there's even a thread where you can download a beta patch and help testing... now stop all that nonses about ArmA2 not being fixed...ffs.

    Okay then Mr JW and everyone who thinks this way, but you're not helping, stop ordering people to read forum as they already did.

    And Do Read my previous post. There's a small example why Arma2 is likely to be abandonned just like Arma.

    You know why Operation Flashpoint was absolutely great and so high (but not over!) rated? Because it was stable, no bugs, no errors (at least I haven't experienced ANY) and it has long, climatic and moving story (Cold War Crisis).

    And that's the secret.

    I downloaded Arma2 demo and I'm not sure of the future. 10 hours of gameplay and countless bugs not mentioning those over the Net.

    I heard that SP campaign in Arma2 is seriously bugged and even unplayable. Voice acting is just insult.

    If Harvest Red is really unplayable/bugged I am not buying Arma2....

    ....for now.

    Regarding ArmA2 and the problems it have.... READ THE DAMN FORUM, it has been stated 1000 times that because there's a new expansion in the work ArmA2 will still be fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is the first time I am not satisfied and as a customer (owner of Flashpoint, Resistance, Arma, QG) this should be important to BIS because possibly I'm not the only one.

    Before Arma2 release I heard about many patches that will help Arma. Now we are stuck with 1.16 beta, but most servers prefer non-beta so they use 1.14. Whatever, Arma is abandonned, just like OFP was and just like Arma2 will be after OA release.

    Is Arma a stable game? No, it's not. Disconnecion, laggs over the internet...

    Now 2 months after release BIS announce new game/expansion/you name it (which is still not needed, Q3 2010 perhaps).

    Look at Arma, where are promised patches?

    Look at Arma2, every community, every press is yelling about Bugs of Arma2, ratings are poor. I remember Flashpoint had 9.5/10 or 10/10 while Arma2 reaches maximum of 7.5.

    Bohemia! What happened? Were Arma2 sales poor? Is it because of lack of time?

    Maybe sales are poor because of low ratings?

    Maybe Arma2 was released too fast?

    What I want to see, firstly, a new non-beta patch for Arma.

    Secondly, patched and enjoyable Arma2.

    You can blame me

    you can understand me.

    By the way, Operation Arrowhead is awesome name.

    Way better than Arma :D

    And why is 14 such a magical age? You don't have the same rights and freedoms as adults have and you're not that developed physically or mentally.

    The absolute minimum for the best age is when you can buy booze and get a license for any vehicle and enter any nightclub.

    The truth of life is the reach as much as possible as fast as possible. I've chosen the other path than you. I don't really care about bitches, clubs, alcohol. To say the truth, I am teatotaller.

    As a 14 I had no problems at all and I didn't have to work. School is nothing compared to hard work, and only hard work will earn you great money.

    So as a school atendant I had a lot of time to take care of my little businesses :)

    You say that as 14 I don't have rights and fredoms at level of adult's ones. Well... that depends on parents. Back then I was driving the car, but I rejected every alcohol proposition. I've got good parents, not perfect but good.

    The only thing I hope is that with age comes wisdom.

    Not in every case, but I hope for mine.

    Ah forgot... "developed physically"?? As 14 I was 185 cm tall, now I am 190 cm tall and weigh 86kg :)

    Hey fellas,

    Just downloaded Arma2 demo and been playin' for nearly 3 hours and I felt like making a post on forum.

    -Despite the fact that I had to set graphics to minimum I had 20 fps xD

    -There are a lot of bugs, however, none of them are serious.

    -Environment is really really nice. I love the way MARPAT blend in it.

    -Also sounds are really good, as on Youtube we loose a lot of quality now I had a chance to hear them myself and I am really impressed.

    -Animations are very realistic however inneed of a little tweak here and there for instance holster or at ease position with pistol :)

    -About voice acting... damn, what the f*ck? xD

    Overall, it's great, some may say not a big difference between Arma 1 and 2... Have to agree, but those differences made this game far better. I am just waiting for further patches, then getting something with nice under-hood, and enjoying a Stable-And-Fluent Best-Military-Sim Arma2.

    I made this thread because of my yesterday's experience.

    The day was as simple as possible so I decided to go to Media Markt (local leading multimedia shop) to check the price of Arma2. While on my way I was wondering if Im up to buy it and play on the lowest since my PC isn't too good, if not bad as can be. And what happened there? There WAS NO Arma2!

    I asked one of guys from staff, he checked in computer if they have one but the answer was negative.

    So I have a basic question as I was off forums for long time and maybe I lack of some information.

    Has Arma2 been released in Poland already?

    If so, what is the price?

    PS If anyone happen to answer this topic, just tell me few words about the game.

    First, thank you.

    It's crazy how good Arma2 is.

    What I found funny is that I do the same:

    I love to go prone and scan, also to look around while reloading.

    But well... I have no TIR, I've bounded "Look around" key to Left Ctrl and I find it good enough. Maybe one day...

    Well, as now we live in democratic countries (At least most of us. Yeah Russians, I say that you're not.) everyone has a right to do what he want. What I was expecting from this project was something new, but well... You can do what you want and so do I.

    One more thing, retards, I am not going to comment posts like Faguss one, so don't waste your time.

    Sanc, you must know that you are only a human, don't take too much work on yourself or you will never finish the project.

    As someone said: 'Too much work will kill you' (Or maybe it was too much love?  crazy_o.gif ... whatever)

    I think that you should do only What Is The Most Important and improve it to be perfect.

    Look at this, you started project and then you said "Im going to make 27 army corpses in wdl and des and 3 big islands and a whole animation pack and weapons."

    Dude, it is at least 54 different character skins, at least tons of textures for islands and at least tons, tons, tons (Did I said tons?) and more f*cking tons of work on animations.

    Sanc, think about it one more time and make this mod in a way that you'd be proud of. In a way to show in those sad days of OFP (as we know ofp days are numbered) that it can go into our memories in it's best, also to give a year of amazing gameplay for those who are planning to buy Arma2 later cause of technical problems.

    Think about it one more time, look at the topic, it's dying.

    Sorry for bringing back such an old topic but I have to say that.

    As you all already know it is EXTREMELY hard to put a Working Universal Camoflage into a game.

    It is because it's only a texture, not really affected by different weather conditions even with modern virtual technologies. (Oh yeah it's still 32-bit)

    Multicam is great camoflage, it is way better than ACU (both are universal ones). And it looks better. I think that nowadays US Rangers use it. Also Polish forces like border guards or GROM have it.

    In terrain like Afghan you are invisible and I saw many pictures which drove me crazy because I couldn't find a guy (later it turned out he was standing about 10m from camera...)

    And about addon. It is way too dark. The Multicam is more tan than wdl...

    And for everyone that thinks that Multicam is useless I suggest to wear bright red uniform with bullseye on chest and head.
