  3. I think its done by config in Arma2, that means you got to rerelease all Arma2 soldiers with a edited config just so all soldiers have the radar. It wont be like a feature that can be added to the game difficulty like a crosshair. A realistic radar for troops would be like the one below. ;)
  4. Thats the vehicle radar. Its left out for infantry because it takes away realism.

    Open the properties of your Arma2 shortcut, at the end of the targetline put: -nosplash If you start Arma 2 with the shortcut the splashscreens are gone.

  10. Back in Arma1 I believe it was not possible to code the tracks like it has been done in VBS2. I heard a long time ago the VBS2 engine was adjusted to let the tracks work. I do not know if thats also the case in Arma2.
  11. If there wasnt that other important model to texture it possibly would have been finished. :)
  12. You could try using the normal map to give your colortexture a bit more lightning and shadow. Simply desaturate the normal map and alter that to use it over your texture.
  13. Doesnt that cause the forces that shoot the CIV UN troops to fire at each other after killing a few UN troops? You can also set the side in the mission.sqm

  17. I have the same problem with the mountains. Not only that but also the draw distance seems to be bugged. Its drawing the objects too late.

    This can be set with the fuelCapacity in the config, so it should not be a problem defining those. It does need alot of time to get those empty :p

    The Apache is perfect, a better result cant be achieved in Arma 2 I think. The sound of the Apache is something I hear daily at about an height of 30 to 40 meters. The CH47 could be a bit better. The thumping sound should be a little lower in bass and it should really hit you if you know what I mean. Those helicopters also fly over daily at the same height and make my screen allmost bounce off my desk at work. It also depends on what direction you are facing the CH47. I will try to get some videorecordings of them this week. Can be quite an advantage to work next to the fence of their homebase. :p

    As always with BETA patches you have the choice to run the game with it or not. Make another shortcut and delete the modline -beta This was with Arma1, if its not the case with Arma2 I'm sorry.

    So the loadout problem is solved with that quote but thanks for the information when I will do the proper loadout. For all exterior parts and bits that do not belong on it.. Too bad for now, currently this addon is a BETA just to give the people interested in dutch things a Dutch F16 in advance. The BETA version only links to the model of Footmunch and doesnt have its own p3d model inside the pbo files and because of that it cant be modified just jet. I'll certainly keep the information you gave me in the back of my mind. For things that need to be done on the texture. I will get them on it.
