Do you have the faintest idea what you're talking about? Consider these 5 things for starters: 1. DirectX 10 is not released yet. I think it's safe to assume that no graphic card supports it yet. 2. It will be released with Windows Vista. (jan2007 maybe) 3. It will probably require Windows Vista. 4. It is not backwards compatible so it would not be 'adding dx10 features' but 'remake gfx engine for dx10 from scratch' 5. Your wish sucks (see 1-4). 1. Vista Beta is already available 2. and so is DX10 sdk 3. Video card manufacturers are already planning to release new DX10 cards in several months 4. Developers don't have to rewrite the whole engine, just some parts of renderer. How do you think it was done in in many other games that use different renderers such as OpenGL or DirectX in one game?...you obviously don't know what you're talking about

Looks like with every major screenshots release BIS are increasing the polycount...or is it just quality made screenshots ? time will tell

I know it sounds kind of late but looking at how impressive latest screenshots look, Id wish BIS would add DirectX 10 features. It would certainly make more people buy teh game thus there will be more noobs to pwn.

200 hrs is nothing..At first, I played for badges, then was whoring aircrafts with my friend...and later I was using MI17 strapped with C4s to bomb blackhawk point whores...it was fun..I stopped playing after they nerfed blackhawk, and noobed the aircraft missiles..

I don't see any point in duscussion. Two press releases already happened. Name is well know now, therefore, there is no need to change. Imho, Armed Assault - perfect name for military game.

I got bored after 200 hrs playing BF2. Too few official ranked maps, and all of them involve the same type of gameplay. In OFP you can create all types of gameplay missions. Huge variety.

Id doubt it will be much different from OFP. I can only hope they'd have controls like in BF2.

I hope BIS will change Arma scenario from communism to Israel vs Lebanon conflict!

Im pretty sure BIS will find publishers in small european countries. But Id like to know when they will get UK and USA publisher. (So I can preorder and be among the first to receive a copy )

I want new orders emplemented like "run away for your life", "ambush", etc. Soldiers hiding behind tanks, and other armored vehicles.

Im playing this game right now but cannot turn textures on High. Is there mod that will enable to set HIGH textures ?

Actually, you would need a better card for Armed Assault than Crysis to run in full detail. Also, Crysis is a different game than Armed Assault. Crysis - aliens and stuff. ArmA -all real, none of sci-fi elements. Maybe, just go play Crysis and stfu ?
