I agree I dont see how people can say that homosexuals will go to hell. There are worst sins than homosexuality and people seem to be able to forgive them.

I dont think you can say what god wants anyone to do. Though I have diffrent views than him I believe that he can believe in what he believes in however he wants .

Another thing that keeps people from making realistic islands is that ofp maps are not big enough to hold anything realistic. I dont know if they are real or not, but the fdf islands like the desert island, dont know its name, Is the most realistic looking island Ive found.

I dont think that gays should be allowed to marry as it is a religious union, but I do think they should be allow to have a legal union with the same benifits as married people. Though there are many strait couples who get married and are not religous either so... As for myself I believe in god, though i dont go to church. I also live in texas and there are a lot of people here that hide behind their faith. I live in the "bible belt" and there are a lot of people who are assholes and just use their faith to put up a nice front. I also am worried about religion being worked into our laws here in texas and the US in general. I dont think the bible should be taken as law, or the koran or what ever for that matter. They were all written by people so they are all flawed. Yes, they are good books to help you live your life by and they are intended to make you better, but using them as a basis of law is just stupid.

Well militiasniper I dont know what you have done so I cant really tell you how to fix it, but for future refrence you dont need a mods icon to run a mod. Just make a copy of you ofp icon and and the -mod=FFUR or whatever you mod folder is called. So far the only mod that is an exec that I know of is the Lib mod. Oh and it doesnt matter if you get little missing addons messages on start up, as long as the mod still runs it wont make a diffrence.

It depends on the plane. I like to use a joystick for flying planes so I can do stunts and such.

I totally agree with sanctuary, I know that you want to give addon makers an incentive to stay in the community and mod, but I dont think money is the answer. If they do not enjoy modding anymore then they should quit. Besides you know they will all be back for ofp2

Yea the exploding bodies thing is a good idea, but if it is something like the y2k3 thing i would pass(causes too much lag)

I would never buy an addon. All this would do is hurt the modding community and bring about trouble. You would see people stealling other peoples addons and trying to sell them as their own. It would result in more problems than I care to list. You should mod because it is fun not for money. This is a horrible idea in my opinion.

Yea all the sudden my windows mouse started appearing in game and i couldnt alt tab out anymore. I fixed it though. Just make sure that your in game resolution is diffrent than your desktop resolution. I dont know why but it fixes it         edit sorry for the smilie rampage i couldnt help myself.

I dont think it is fair to say that the community is not civilized or that we are worse thatn the cs community. I believe that because of the average age group that plays this game we have the most civilized forum that Ive seen for a game. Now there may be, like in every forum, people who dont respect anyone or cannot act in a civilized manor. But for the most part though most people here do not have a problem with that. @Lt Hunter - I understand what you are saying. If I took the time to make addons for the community I would want to hear good constructive feed back from the community. What I am saying is that there are always going to be some people that cannot control themselves(mostly the younger ones who dont produce any addons themselves), and you have to know that if you open a thread for your addon you are going to have to handle a little abuse from those people. If you cant handle it or just flat out ignore it then dont open a thread until you are ready. By the way I respect the work youve done and look forward to future things.

Ive made addons before so i under stand that it is hard work and you want to get it right. I agree that it is not right to pester the mods about when it will be done. But if a mod creates a thread to let the community see their addons, no matter what the reason for creating the thread, they should expect a response from the community. If you dont want people always asking you when it is done then dont create a thread for your mod/addon. About the I44 thread. I think that it is not right for people to treat the I44 team that way, especially since they have given us such a great ww2 demo pack. On the other hand they should not have created the thread unless they wanted to hear how many people felt. They created a thread for their addon yet refused to give any info to talk about. Again I havent made a major mod so I cant say about all the things that go into making a mod. I respect all the guys that are willing to give us thier great addons and I just thought I'd make a comment on all this.

Ive made 20 or so weapons and ive tried my hand at making a few cars. Its hard work. I found that modeling and 02 is the easiest part. It's the config and finding textures and good sounds that I have a hard time with.

yea mcafee can be a real PITA if you forget to allow internet access. Ive learned where to put my mouse on the screen to click allow even if i cant see the message

edit:nevermind Does anyone know where i can download mfcti with mods like nam or fdf. I can find plenty of crcti with these mods, but i like mf over cr. Oh and am I the only one who cant download maps from mfcti.com

You can play as those in cti cant you I am positive there is a ww2 and a usmc, not sure about nam.
