Im not positive but If you disk is dammaged I believe they will send you a new one. Im not sure though, might want to ask placebo.

Try turning off fastwrite if you have it. I was getting that error when i enabled fast write and it disappeared when i disabled it. @madmaslegend leave this place. lol

I saw that and i dont think hes an official rep so i wouldn't count on him. I think that he ment it's not like some games where not even a head shot will kill, at least i hope that you would not be able to kill some one with one shot to the foot

If you want to make simple missions the mission editor is not hard and is very easy to use. Â It does, however, allow you to do complicated and advanced things if you wish.

Yea it doesnt not look as good as ofp as far as the islands and i doubt it has a mission editor worth anything but it looks interesting. It has yet to be released though and it does not apear to be coming out any time soon. Also looks like it needs a bunch of polishing.

Id be more interested in this shark idea if you had a model in game, and i think the reason some people are against the idea is because you do not seem to have made an attempt at doing so as of yet. If you want to put the time in I say go for it, but I dont see the point of a thread just to say what would be cool in ofp... just my opinion.

I loose interest in most missions i make. Though i did make a bf1942 kind of map where both sides were spawned and they had random spawn points to go to and is someone died it would put a cross near the medic tent at your base. It also had stats in the hint window, ammo drops, air strike, the works. Its the only mission I have ever made that I bothered to finnish complete with cutscenes and breifings. Only problem is it would start to lag about 30 mins or so into the fighting. I think i just thought of the reason though . Anyways sry to get off track. I generally just loose interest or get caught up with one problem that i can never resolve and finally quit.
