Speaking of Improvements.. Someone lob up a Wiki page of errors w/decriptions. Then, instead of posting here.. make a nice, organized database for BIS to look at them all. Then they can simply delete the corrected errors for an upcoming patch. Or, if you would prefer, we can continue to scatter information all over the forums..making it near difficult to find any specific errors. Creating 1 mega thread will be just as confusing. edit: I made one. This was my first WIKI edit.. Who's problem is this really? Maruk's? Or the Publishers? I mean, who's decision is it to add allotted slots/reinstalls per user? The developer right? Perhaps just send them an official statement requesting to a lot users one additional reinstall for each patch that comes out. Meh, what can one do.. I wish I bought the DVD version but I was too impatient... so I bought the Online one.

Things I agree with: Totally. Since when do guns firing sound like little firecrackers? Perhaps bullets would work better if the bullets had sounds as well. Plus, the impossibility of hearing someones gun shooting at you from a distance. ---------------------------- ********************** Things I disagree on: The videos are not propaganda from "the man" these are loyal BIS fans who believe that they will dedicate themselves as best they can to the community. Do you know that from the 1.02 Patch, over 500 fixes have been implemented? This is version 1.05... OFP took much longer, and that's at 1.96. I believe in BIS.. they aren't like EA, who abandon their fanbase. Not for me, they work throughout mission. It's the campaign. It's not the focus point.. Just play MP . I never liked the camapaign ether, but they wanted a simulator.. ========================== ************************** Overall, from the looks of it.. Being a noob joinee (joining in just the last month), you have no previous experience with BIS, or OFP. Alright. Say I try this when Morphicon emails me to allow me to reactivate my game... Say I do this. What do I need to make the camera.sqs script work? Do I need any sort of information above or below the lines of text generated from the CTRL + Paste Function?

Wouldn't that just make everything more confusing? Instead of one person addressing their problem in hopes to receive an email notification for a reply... now have to regularly check a forum, to which many of the next replys may not even be addressing that persons question in particular. Now a 1.05 complaining thread... that sounds more like it

Thanks for all the generous comments guys I use a gamepad for sweeping shots and the mouse for all the 'shaky cam' parts (i dont have parkinson's ). how you get rid of the hud? I ran script camera.sqs, it gets rid of the HUD automatically. How did you get rid of the hud from first person view? When running the camera script, the camera isn't in the soldiers head anymore.. but when in first person... how did you manage to disable the hud? How would someone without a gamepad shake the screen?

Say you have the online downloaded version from which ever publisher you purchased from. Perhaps there is a way for the publisher to send out a retail boxed copy, meanwhile disabling your account with the online version? I only ask because this reactivation thing with 4x+ restarts is quite annoying. I did not know this before purchasing (I've never owned an online downloaded game before).

I agree, we need to be allotted 1 extra activation from all publishers for this patch. I was trying something new for a class project by creating a nice video in ArmA in hopes in finishing it no later than Monday. Now I have to wait for Morphicon to respond to my email and reissue me another activation.. However long that takes is up in the air. Why does the game require another activation?

Email the people you bought the game from.. they will allow you more reactivations.. I had to do it.. and now I have to WAIT for their responce.. $100 bucks says it'll take 2 weeks for them to respond.. I was making a movie on the ArmA for a school project... spend 6 hours on it already.. its due monday.. and now I have to do a completely different project because i know for a fact they will take their sweet little time to respond.

And how can you copy multiple locations of the camera? IE: I press CTRL.. then I paste it into notepad (time sig, 15:00:00). I tab back in, hit CTRL again, and tab back out. I paste it into notepad and get exact same camera for some reason: (time sig, 15:00:00)... I don't even know what to do once I copy and paste those numbers in the notepad..

Tried that.. and once I tried reinstalling... Get this, I couldn't play ArmA because my German Version was installed 3x already. I emailed the people who say that simply emailing them will allow me to get a new key or reactivate old one.. but I have a movie due on Monday (For Class).. and 1/2 the movie was being done in ArmA... now I can't even play it!!!! How long does Mophicon take to read their emails and respond! I have to finish this!!!

Picture: No other websites take this long. Does the forums even support Firefox? I click "New Tab" and the error on the top left of that picture shows up. Also when using bold or something that is selected will not be bold. I belong to over 4-5 forums and they all work with Firefox on this feature.

I just reinstalled ArmA (German) on my XP (downgraded from Vista). Installed the 1.02 patch & language patch, restarted my PC and tried joining an MP game on ArmA. The only problem is all the MP servers do not display. There's no filters or firewall on...

I'd pay 20 dollars if it were in English. Make it $30.00. If its good, maybe even $40.00. I'm lost without a properly, neatly version of a mission editors guide. I've read so many... and when I hit page 75, they started talking in Arabic or something that was almost impossible to understand due to poor translation. And now I'm more confused than when I started... I'd ask on the forums but talk about a large database thats completely unorganized. The beauty of having the book is having the ability to just look @ the contents.. and that alone will give you ideas for a mission. A forum filled with different scripts (which may be called "Tomayto" and you search "ToMoto"..You wont find anything..
