  1. I get it's a bit outdated now, but still it makes playing more enjoyable. I noticed few bugs like environment sounds missing when revived and grenade sounds sometimes playing vanilla sound, but nothing that bothers as much as vanilla MX's earshattering sound.

I'd rather take the moment of silence from crickets than hear vanilla MX again :D

    This!

Thanks for all your efforts megagoth1702. :)

  2. NTRUDER;2336661']As a veteran OFP/ArmA player I think the movement is almost perfect now. It's so easy to move around inside buildings (don't run ffs!) and I won't get stuck in doorways anymore when entering a room with potential hostiles.

    Greatness! :)

    +1

BIS achieved the perfect balance with ArmA III in this regard.

I just hate the abnormal feeling given by the floating camera in FPS games. It seems that I'm always sliding when moving' date=' with no gravity effect at all.

I'm quite impressed with ArmA III movement feeling.

Oh, and another thing that would be nice now is the ability to break out of animations with movement - Ie. if you are healing yourself you should be able to move at any time, but the heal action will be cancelled. same with the prone modifiers. If you are in high prone and move, you should automatically go back to the normal prone. You shouldn't be forced to drop to normal prone and then move - that's clunky.

    Agree with you.

  3. I cannot login to the BI store with my forum account, it says "Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet."

Tried to reset password and change it, still error. Also tried to use email as login, doesnt work either.

Also tried to merge accounts here: https://profile.bistudio.com/profile/merge-accounts

But it says "This sevice is temporarily offline. We apologize for the inconvenience."

    Great...

Try resetting the password but this time don't use capital letters and symbols.

  4. In spite having a big collection of titles in Steam platform, I've answered no.

I only use Steam because of the sales, otherwise there isn't much in their service that interest me in particular and certainly not the achievements system.

If I have to buy a game on day one I prefer to buy it through retail or directly from the developers.

Besides I hate how some Steam fanboys are always lobbying for Steam in every gaming forum I know.

    So no to Steamworks.

  5. I'm afraid BIS has put an end to the OFP chapter with the 1.99 patch renaming OFP to Arma : CWA.

    That's true.

However in business, going back in a decision, is not so uncommon.

But more than anyone else, BIS is in a better position to evaluate the whole situation.

I'm only saying, that there's, probably, room for both.

Not all OFP fan is an ArmA fan.

  6. Even have been spoiled by codemasters, the name still has a powerful market value. Specially, if BIS took possession of it again.

Operation Flashpoint deals with cold war events, while ArmA deals with modern equipments.

I'd gladly support both franchises. And I'm sure that most people in this forum would do it.
