Agreed. If a bullet blows out a chunk of meat, the only blood put into the air is the blood that was in the capillaries of that meat where it was separated from the body. Usually the blown-away chunks will reveal pink or beige tissues. It's only when the tissues start bleeding that you get blood. Sure, if you sever a large artery/vein/whatever, you might get a gusher or some spray, but that's nowhere near guaranteed. Pink mist and flying chunks might be the worst you see, unless you've got a .50 BMG and it separates whole body parts from each other. From videos I have watched, movement of the body seems to be the biggest factor determining whether the shooter keeps shooting. Blood splatter doesn't seem to be something that the shooter can rely on to inform him as to whether he scored a good hit or not. That's Hollywood. Of course, if you gut-shot someone with a 12 gauge loaded with birdshot from about 15 feet away and he is standing in front of a white wall, that might be a reliable indicator.

Interesting you should say this. I just watched a video of a Japanese politician in the 60's getting a sword rammed all of the way through his torso by a 17 year-old who rushed the podium. This politician was known for advocating an alliance between Japan and China. Interestingly, a flash-bulb snaps at the very instant that the politician and his attacker were closest, even though the whole attack happened in a flash. Sounds like an assassination by the "establishment", to me. I wouldn't put it past the Americans (being American) to make sure that guy died.

Can you get with the ECP crew to find out what the incompatibility is and how to fix it? I consider ECP an indispensable OFP engine improvement and all good mods should be able to work with it. I want this so that the people will say something when they are attacked, so maybe there needs to be a custom voice pack so that when checkflee = true or armed = false the humans will scream? And that was a really good idea for meal size! Â But I still need to know if the member of the dino group/herd eats a beast, does it feed the whole group/herd? Â What if the leader of the group/herd eats a beast? And that kinda means that a soldier who is a Private "Tastes Great, Less Filling!", but a Colonel is very bad for a girl dino's figure! Maybe there is a connection between the shiny rank insignia and the habits of crows to collect shiny objects? Â (They say dinos and birds are related...)

Armed Assault will have tuned OFP1 engine, while OFP 2 will have new OFP2 engine and not tuned OFP1 engine  I am sure that OFP2 will use the poseidon engine too. I guess the AA engine will be something between the OFP and OFP2 versions of the poseidon engine. They wont make a completely new engine for OFP2. It was my understanding that mid-game joining was completely impossible to patch into the OFP1 engine. Armed Assault will have mid-game joining. This leads me that they rebuilt an already proven engine from the ground up for Armed Assault. Didn't they say that ArmA benefits from the optimization carried out for X-Box? They didn't have to rebuild the engine for X-Box?

Hey, if the Comsognathus' aren't going to attack, then maybe they should be in the West grouping? I've got A.I. troops reporting them as "man" and unloading too much ammo trying to hit those tiny hit-boxes. lol Also, any way you could make JPMod ECP v1.085 compatible? And in Rogue Spear, there was a certain amount of time between the radio check-ins. Â If you were stealthing around and a tango you headshot with a JHP round missed a check-in, THEN the shi'ite hit the fan. It's not like you popped up a big flag that says "Army of One" when you took the vehicle. That's why they had vehicle recognition cards. Vehicle Recognition Cards Now they probably use sims to learn whether a vehicle is a threat or a friendly, based on its shape. Â In the 80's, if you were in a friendly vehicle, it was probably assumed for some time that you were a friendly, especially if you could fake that your vehicle's radio wasn't working correctly (just cover the mouthpiece and key the mike for a bit). I've seen explosions from hand-grenades, 40mm 'nades, and the M72A2 LAW that look like a split-second bit of welding. Very bright, so that they have rays vertical and horizontal, but very brief, like a cap in a cap gun. That was, however, either in wet environments or where there was very little dust around and a lot of greenery.

Found another problem: Â Civilians, even if they have their sides changed to West, won't be attacked by East or Resistance if they aren't armed with weapons that have ammo. Â The dinosaurs will actually follow them around as if they are the Pied Piper, even doing a dance around them! Â Â This might be good for scripted sequences where you want the fast-running chicks (which run faster than the male civilians) fleeing the dinos without being eaten, but it looks a bit silly when a mini T-rex and a lady in a skirt are standing there as if they just met on a blind date.

How about we not fuel an industry which abducts females and exploits them to serve the interests of the greedy and we allow single guys to pay attention to single girls without someone pretending to be a dispenser of sound advice, telling people how to live their lives in a thread that isn't about self-help? Right, but only one of them actually does the killing, so does the WHOLE group get their hunger satisfied by the meal, or are the ones who didn't kill anything yet still eager to kill? If the leader of the group isn't hungry, then he can set the whole group to be satisfied by ordering them to Hold Fire, but what if the leader of the group didn't do the killing? And some of these dinos are simply too small to satisfy the hunger of some of the larger dinos... Here's that zero divisor error I got: And do the T-Rex or deinon types ever attack each other, according to theory or the movie? Â Which of these dinos will avoid a confrontation in favor of an easy meal? And does each dino type have a "scariness" factor that causes fleeing, as a tank might do to troops that have no AT weapons? If a certain type of meat-eater dino will attack its own kind, then maybe you should put those dino types in both the East and Resistance groups.

Sounds good. Â Taller meat-eating dinos should have a longer hunger distance because they can see up and over bushes and trees(maybe 250 meters, maximum?), unless dinos were(are?) near-sighted. Â I guess we aren't doing this to be flipping the bird at a near-sighted T-Rexes, so maybe that would be anti-fun realism? How does it work as a group? Â Is a whole group satisfied by one meal? Â Maybe the mass of the eaten dino can be compared to the mass of the total eating dino group? Will they still fight when they are threatened or harrassed? These dinos surprise me! They will climb up on vehicles and on each other! I was behind a wall, thinking I was safe from the Albertosaurus, because A.I. doesn't go through walls, right? Well, I shot at him a few times with the shotgun and that ticked him off and he crashed right through the wall, knocking it down, and bit me dead! LOL! I also had one of the deinon's jump up through the second-floor window of a building I was in from the ground floor outside and fight me in the room I was in!
