I like to try just about everything. Unless I hear really bad things about it (like major glitches that cause OFP to crash). If you don't like it you can just dump the PBO/WRP file. Musts are: Gimbal's Planes Lost Brothers HK Addon Pack Gunslinger's editor upgrade or equivalent (if there is a better one I would appreciate input.) Jungle, Winter and Desert Island mods There are also some really good reskinned vehicles for Desert camoflauge etc.. I also like the Script Editor because I was having a hard time getting word pad to save files in OFP formats, it would tack on extra file extentions that I couldn't get rid of. My apologies if I left anything out. I haven't been able to sift through everything yet.

It is considered a medium Tactical Airlift/ Utility Transport in the HC-130 configuration. I've said this before, but the C-130 has a very low stall speed to accomidate paratroopers, which also allows it to land on short airstrips. The C-130 also has massive landing gear which allows it to land on unimproved airstips and even flat areas that have no airstrip. So, hypothetically, even if the runways in OFP aren't long enough, there is alot of extra flat area in front of and behind the runway. Should be plenty of space. Also, the Rocket Assisted Take Off device is only used when extremely large cargos are involved which alters trim/stall speed charateristics. I thinks Gimbal's planes are a great compromise for OFP, it allows the fun of a dogfight at a managable speed considering the map size and visibility factors.

The FN MAG looks remarkably like the M240B (see pic of me below), which is also made by FN/Browning USA. Is it basically the same gun? I've never got my hands on an FN MAG. Also, does it eject the shell casings from the bottom like a 240B? This is an improvement over the 60 that I enjoy becase I am left handed, and you can't shoot a 60 left handed because the ejection port will puke hot brass all over you. The M240B may look similar to a 60, but if you open it up the actions are worlds apart. The FN action is ingeniously simple. Yes, the 60 is a piece of crap, and it jams alot. Like the FN MAG (FN is famous for adjustable gas system which allows thier guns to fire blanks, different types of 7.62 rounds etc without malfunctioning, also allows it to fire dirty,) the 240 rarely jams. Good sturdy weapon, and it is more accurate than the 60.

I've landed inside of the LST before, but I've never landed onm the pad on back. Always bounce off. Is there a way to put fuel in the LST so you can drive it?

yeah, we call it noise and light discipline. Try operating in the field tactically at night, when you're not allowed to use even a red lense flashlight. With no NOD's it can be trying.

I think a BTR line of vehicles would be nice. I would also like to see some German vehicles. Also, why don't OFP MBT's have turret stabilization? This is a piece of technology that makes modern MBT's more accurate and gives them great shoot on the run and target leading capabilities.

Looks like the "in favor" percentage went up five points since I was last here. Good to see. If this does go down. I hope that there will be an ability to jump both ramp and doors. Or at least a ramp that opens and closes. The ramp on the C-130 in DF2 is stuck open and looks really dumb when it is flying. Also, whoever decides to take on this project would have to make sure that the inside of the cargo bay is accurate, along with the "crew chief's seat" (toilet). This thing is basically a box on a platform. (It is extremely difficult to piss on a C-130 becuase of the turbulance). Talk about no privacy it is just out in the open. Although I have seen some that have a wrap around curtain. C-141's are much nicer, they have a commercial airliner style latrine. If anyone decides to undertake this project, let me know I will do anything to help.

My roomate and I build a pretty good potato cannon. We like to shoot golf balls out of it. The thought of shooting can of concrete is just so much more appealing. I know tons of cops through my job and through my national guard unit. Most of them are perverted, demented, and like to blow shit up. They don't give me any problems. As for the BATF, it is a unconstitutional, qausi-Gestapo crap organization. NRA forever!!!

The machine gun is generally the most casualty producing weapon in an infantry squad. This is why they are used as the initiating weapon in an ambush if no claymores are available. I personally have caused much death and destruction in OFP with the M/G's. Just like in real life, the M/G's in OFP are horribly inaccurate when fired from any position but the prone. This is due to the massive amount of barrel climb produced from firing such a high volume of fire. M/G's are also great for laying grazing suppressive fire (1 meter off of the ground @ 100 meters distance). I noticed that the AI in OFP will react to suppresive fire, and it inhibits thier movements and ability to return accurate fire.

I've personally never seen anything except OD green chutes in my career. But, hey it's not a terrible idea. More than that, I would like to see different variations of chutes. The one used in the game resembles the plain old T-10C. I would like to see the MC-1B or C, and to have it be manueverable just like the real ones. Maybe the "smokejumper" (I forget the nomenclature) rig that 10th SFG(A) uses here in Colorado. Which is very manueverable. I got airborne on the brain though, and I doubt I'll ever see such things in OFP.

Yeah, trench warefare would be something new. It would be alot of work though. It would also be cool if you could simulate mustard gas using smoke.
