  1. Very nice release, especially well done with the comsec settings and the new interfaces. Do you plan to get the radios to the point they are fully program-able? 10 nets is rather limited when you get to company sized missions with indirect fires and CAS nets. It also generates issues when you get retrans involved where specifying frequency becomes necessary.

  5. As the others have said, very nice work. If possible I would recommend taking Falcon up on his offer if it's not something you have considered previously. Also, at the risk of being that guy the rucksack items, are these likely to be made compatible with ACE or to have ACE specific versions at all? Again, excellent models, eagerly awaiting their release!

  8. In regards to the above poster: I believe this is to simulate the fact there were few if any power assisted tank turrets in that particular period, I could be wrong however. Liking the looks of this new island gents, keep up the good work! :)

    Finished some basic work on a concept mission which could do with some game play testing. General jist of it? You're an SF team plonked in unspecifiedistan, in a sand storm with the objective of finding 3 Scud launchers. Intel is a bit dodgy and the maps of the area are so useless it's not worth using. Bit more info? Here's the situation notes for you then. Please note this mission requires ACE2 and Combined Operations This mission is designed to be played on servers using ACRE however it is an optional requirement and can be played without ACRE, in which case the communication notes become a little pointless.   10. Heyo, Bellow you can download my MP missions packs, nothing particularly fancy but some simple COOP missions for small groups of players. ToadBall's Brik2 MP Missions Pack. Missions on Old Bear's Brik2 Island ACE_co_10_Fabrik_v1 10 man section assault on buildings at Fabrik, assault and hold position against russian mechanised counter attack. ACE_co_12_Rescue_Dawn_v1 12 man force recon extraction of 2 Knighthawk pilots down near Skol. Rescue pilots and extract to nearby UN forces. If possible destroy Knighthawk wreck to prevent flight recorder from falling into enemy hands. ACE_co_18_AAA_Hunt_v1 Two 8 man sections with HQ element search and destroy mission. Locate and destroy 3 shilkas encamped within the forest. ACE_co_08_Ambush_v1 8 man guerrilla team ambush on USMC supply convoy moving through the eastern forest. ACE_co_12_Vandals_v1 Infiltrate Brik and destroy the parked russian armour. COOP missions on Chernarus expect a few more to be added over the next month or so. ACE_co_10_Ninja_Wookies_v1.3 Sniper teams Bush whacker and Timber wolf are to eliminate 3 targets gathered at a meeting and exfilitrate through enemy held teritory. ACE_co_16_Road_Works_v1.3 Chedaki Assault on Topolka dam with the assistance of a four man Russian special forces team. Take and hold the dam until friendly forces arrive. Known Issues: None at present, fire me a PM if you find any. DOWNLOAD PACK Brik Pack Change Log: All missions are AI disabled and no respawn with ACE spectator script. These missions require the latest stable version of ACE and the ACEX modules however it should be compatible with later versions. All missions are ACRE compatible and will give relevant radios to the appropriate slots if it is being run on the server.     Been busy with RL stuff so didn't get a chance to finish my missions for release however I'll see what I can do in the next week. As Galz said, the easiest way to populate the buildings is using the UPSMON fortify parameter, nomove would also work but less effectively IMO.

    Re: Bin Laden compound, I provided Mondkalb with the floor plans for the house, however it won't be in the pack for a variety of reasons that I agree with Mondkalb on. Smokedog if you read Mondkalbs previous posts you will see what features have been implemented. To my knowledge work on the buildings is complete and we are simply testing the island and putting together missions for it prior to release

    From what I know, he isn't going for a replication of Copehill down so much as he is using the layout of copehill down to demonstrate how these buildings can be used. None the less, should have 3 or 4, 8 - 20 player COOP missions made for release time.

    I'm working on a floor plan using available material as well as doing an editor template of the compound if I find some time, though whether or not Mondkalb brings it to fruition is another matter, the man is powering through these buildings.

    Mondkalb has provided a very generous number of building positions in each of the buildings so using these to setpos your units gives you a more than acceptable number of configurations.

    @Galzohar: He posted a couple of screenshots with a unit in a doorway in the WIP Thread. If I've got some spare time and Mondkalb is happy with it I'll try and get some screen shots of the buildings being used in testing this evening.

    Well got distracted from the WOO stuff by more conventional mission ideas. Updated the Brik pack with various bug fixes and a new mission. Have a couple of missions on Chernarus and Shapur in testing, a couple of small bugs to work out and I'll put them up for download.

    As said, it's Protegimus' mod and I have no intention of messing with things I don't understand, I'm just providing what he last provided Zeus with, if you think this will improve it by all means remove it. Regarding the client/server side that was going on what I was informed of when updating our game server by the bloke before me who was in charge of it, not claiming it's right or wrong just what I was told. As I said before: I'm only providing a link to get the latest version not to provide technical support as I have no idea about the workings of the mod and provide reliable help.

    Zeus AI Combat Skills

    In response to a relatively large number of folk dropping by our TS server and forums with queries regarding the status of Zeus AI and technical issues with the mod: Zeus gaming community stopped using Zeus AI around the start of January 2011 and have had little/no contact from Protegimus since around late December 2010. As such I cannot offer much if any technical support for users of the mod. I can however answer a couple of questions we frequently get: 1) Does the mod have to be run, server side, client side or both? The mod must be run on the server, the client having the mod will not make a difference that I or the other Zeus folk I've asked know of. 2) What was the latest version? The last update Protegimus made available to us was in December 2010. This version can be downloaded here 3) I have the mod but the AI still act dumber than a brain dead baboon with a gun. Honestly? I have no clue, the game engine has had a couple of updates since the mod's last update and as such the mod may not have retained is functionality. I honestly cannot say as Protegimus was the only one at Zeus who knew how the mod worked and as I've already mentioned he has not been available to pester. Any technical problems you have are probably best addressed to the man himself via these forums, if you do get in touch with him let him know the folk from Zeus say Hi :) best of luck, Toadball Zeus Gaming Community Server technician monkey

    I've updated the pack with a new mission and a few bug fixes in the old missions. Unfortunately I've had to leave out the last of the 5 missions I was planning on releasing for brik as due to a script problem the loadouts aren't working correctly on dedicated servers. However when I get this fixed up I'll update the pack. In the mean time I'll be begining work on a pack of 5 missions for shapur as well as a pack of SP and MP missions I didn't get finished in time for the MBG Window of Opportunity release.

    I'm working on a set of 5 single player missions for release some time this week. Though for the moment the only missions available are MP or iirc Mondkalb did include a single player mission on Shapur.
