The SF guys aren't in careless mode, their behaviour is set to "No change" for all waypoints so should be at the default "aware".
The patrolling units are there because I want a firefight to occur after the charges have been detonated. Making the OPFOR setcaptive true would work, as the SF units would completely ignore them. Is there a way to set all OPFOR units within a certain area to setcaptive true?
And believe it or not, yes I have :P Joined way back when I got operation flashpoint and haven't had the need to make a post until now! Although my editor skills are still pretty sketchy...

I'm having some trouble in the Arma2 editor. I've set up a mission on Chernarus, at night, so that a special forces squad enters the airfield by Grishno from the southeast entrance. I want them to move up to some empty helicopters and place satchel charges, before retreating and touching off the bombs.
The issue is that once they are moving very very slowly towards the "MOVE" waypoint where the bomb is to be placed - there are OPFOR infantry units patrolling the airfield, but even though none of them are within 300 metres, the BLUFOR units are moving in the prone position, constantly getting binoculars out and reporting the enemy, etc. It's really slowing down the mission, although they do eventually place the satchel charges and retreat. What I'm looking for is to have them move at full speed to the waypoint, place the charge, and retreat at full speed - there's no need for them to visualise enemy units.
The waypoints are set to "Never fire", speed = "Full" and I have tried various behaviour settings but no luck so far. Are there any tricks I can use to get them to move quicker?

Hi guys, sorry for the delay there, been a really busy week. I used a trigger to setcaptive true to all relevant OPFOR groups at the start of the mission and then used a waypoint to setcaptive false again once the charges had been detonated. Working like a dream :)
Haven't installed the latest betas yet but might give them a go at some point as it might provide a bit more realism. Thanks for your help guys, really sorted me out
