Hey everyone I thought id add my 2 cents I agree with you Deadmeat, its not a nice thing to have people slag you off all the time for what you do. but it happens on the internet and in real life, you just cant help it. I mean where i live im in a band, our town isnt very large sumtin like 37000 people and its hard to get a leg up in our career. we write our own music and whatever we write never seems to be able to please people. We draw on alot of personal experiences when we wirte our music and i must admit that when my Fiance decided that she didnt love me anymore and left me cold i was devestated, i felt suicidal but i turned all that emotion into my music and to this day the song i wrote about it still brings a tear to my eye. at our last live concert we performed the song and after the concert a young lad and his mates decided to tell me how shit the song was. this had a huge affect on me and i felt like grabbing the kid and beatin the f**king snot out of him but i was the bigger person, i turned around and walked away because at the end of the day im the musician, hes the little idiot trying to make himself look better in front of his friends. i know what it feels like to be kicked in the guts by people who dont appreciate it. im not saying that everyone is like this but even if 1000 ppl say they love what you do and then say a minority of 5 say what youve done is crap then yeah, it gets to you and u wonder y ppl are so nasty. we get it all the time, "your music should sound more like metalica's" or "theres to much NIN influence in your music". but if we wrote music that sounded like metalica and had no NIN influence then wed hear things like "you guys just copy metalica" or "you guys suck cause your not like NIN". You just cant win deadmeat,but u can be proud that what you do with your addons is great, BAS is amazing just like RHS, CoC, PUKF, OFPEC, NAFP and all other dedicated sites that i didnt mention. its you guys that have the impact, not some snotty nosed kid who wants to start a flame war. so deadmeat just be the bigger person and walk away, i agree with you fully but making banners isnt the solution, if some person trys to insult you then ignore them and the first thing that will go through their head would be "oh crap am i really that insignificant that people wont reply to my flame baiting" keep up the good work and take heart that there are a shit load of members out there that love your addons and beleive you guys are truly talented. hey everyone im redoing the flashpoint campaign using the marine assault pack and the TOW aav7, but the BIS blackhawk doesnt suit them and i was hoping sum1 could suggest a better chopper. im not even sure what choppers the Marines fly in to battle in. Hey Everyone. This whole war on terror is a giant Vortex that is sucking all countries in to its terrible eye. The thing that annoys me the most is how our wonderful PM Mister John Howard has given the go ahead for the construction of an american base on australian soil, its like he's painting a giant bulls eye on our asses. its just not right that we all have to live with this fear of being killed for absolutely no reason, i mean what did a little girl in the U.S do 2 deserve such Anti American Hatred from political groups like the Taliban, This Little girl probably cant even spell her own name and some terrorist is plotting how to blow up innocent people around her(and even her). Hi everyone Im really loving this idea but what i would like to know is would the soldiers be equiped with Body amour eg, Kevlar, Flak Jackets and modern day luxuries like such. And when you think of it, if the Tonal Rebelion front can have a series of UAZ's with PK's and BRDMS with Pk'sthen i think the nogovan government could afford to use and maintain the same. you could also say that the nogovan ocean was full of oil and gave them a seriously large income if they were trading with the U.S and it could be the main reason for the russians invading. The idea for the troska military academy is good, and also you might b able to tie Gastovski into it, after the "Cold War Crisis" Gastovski returned to nogova to train a spec ops group to always be on hand if a state of war arose. and whos to say that the americans and nogovans havent crossed trained in the 20 yrs since the first invasion lol. And the Russians have used this oppurtunity to try another attack on Nogova to try and bring it under communist rule. The only difference is that Nogova has had a good 20 yrs to build up its military might and this time when the russians attack they(even thought still being outnumbered) are way more prepared to meet this threat. whilst America asks the Russians to cease their assault on the island\s they arent really in a position to intervene(because of their forces being occupied with other conflicts) so it would mean that it would be a slug fest between Russia and the Nogovan republic with no assistance from the outside world. its still unclear how big a nogovan force would be but the nogovan police force could also be called on to don the army BDU's in a state of war. Would the modern Nogovan soldiers wear, eg Body Amour, what type of Camo also if this is set in a more modern time you could incorporate Earl and Sucheys Russian soldiers into the mix I would love to be a part of this mod if u need a mission designer/ maker Thanx Tim
