New cargo anims done

It's not frequently asked. DOH! Avon Lady........always one step ahead.
-
You mean in real life....or in OFP Avon? It has been a std. unit in NamPack2 since it's release. Was developed by ST in conjunction with the LB's specifically for the Nam pack...is essentially the same model with different tail config., different weapons, different cockpit textures and few model changes here and there. Perhaps we need a topic in the FAQ for it...he he he

Thanks.....but the Desert version still make me wince when I look at the textures. And you can't beat the way Earl has done iron sights and reflex sights on his weapons. 1. Wellcome to the club 2. You mean when you are aiming right whit v right? STGN 1. ty 2. yes.

I agree. Earls have been designed from the ground up for the OFP engine..taking into account LODS, polygon limits etc. BAS is considering them for the Ranger/Delta upgrade...we know when we've met our match...and Earls weapons are simply to good not to use ;-)

Nice looking helo...can't wait to see this one in game....something about that red star on the black background that makles it extra sexy. Have RHS began modeling it?? Any Oxygen teasers??
-
Adjusting the mass of the final model and weighing it down in the rear may stop its nose from going forward if using the chopper proxy....anyone experimented with that?
-
Nice answers Harnu....pick the OFP Veteran ;-) BTW...love your OFP Combat pics and eagerly awaiting the results of the competition.

Thanks guys....not promising anything revolutionary in the pack OK....so don't get all "this is overhyped" on me. All I can promise is realistic paintjobs, realistic markings and realistic tail codes. Technical accuracy as far as the OFP engine takes us is what I can deliver. But don't expect it to do whizz bang stuff....it will have all the functionality of the MH-60s and that's it. Maybe a few extras thrown in.

I have been reading this thread with quite some interest...I think all but a few have failed to get the whole point of Ebud's exercise in releasing this island (Jinef gets it). He specifically left this open source so that you the community could: a) Share in something that might have otherwise just sat on his hard disk and more importantly b) Take it..and use it as a basis of a new improved island developed by, contributed to and ultimately produced by the OFP community. Instead...I see a lot of people complaining about the lack of effort put in to making it workable.....is it just me...or are there are more people taking than giving in this community. Are people too lazy to learn to make some of these improvements themselves? Perhaps throwing yourself into this community project would give you and appreciation for what it is island makers go through to produce a working and relatively bug free product. I don't know....I just don't get it......I know some people think they are being helpful....but everyone is pointing out bugs and then leaning back in their chair thinking they've done a good job and expecting someone else to fix them. The point is you....yes I'm pointing at you....YOU need to actively get involved and fix them.

GOOD EYES Consig!!! I had tried sanding down the wheels and got it a little lobsided.....very nice pickup...good eye for detail there mate.

Sounds good.Maybe using something like the random numbering script. And have maybe 3 or 4 different textures randomly come on ,on easch single heli.Hmm.Sounds good.Guess I will head on down to the ADDON CONFIG & SCRIPTING and ask around for a script that can do the job that im thinking of,but if you know something about this and want to help just let me know. Thanks, NZ...I'm doing something similiar for the Pavies....although not random....it has to set by users in the init line of the unit....but I feel that adds more flexibility than random numbers for people to choose the bird they want for a mission. Get in touch with me if you need to discuss further.....problem with making that cobra a hidden selection is getting a face to map along the side of that body smoothly....a simple flat face won't do it I think. The Scarface logo shouldnt be a problem though.

Got some nice drybrushing on that baby...but it really needs a wash to weather it a little ;-) Nice construction :-)
-
Thanks dude...Corsair was 1/48 scale....if you wanna go 1/32 they are all pretty expensive...but Revell and Hasegawa probably give best prices. The F-4 is actually Dark Sea Blue...not black :-) Guess it looks black in the photos.

www.squadron.com for the US. Excellent range and excellent service.

I am aiming for a Jan 2004 release.

No problem NZX....to be honest...we are just happy seeing someone take it on and do a good and thorough job on it. I love what I'm seeing so far...keep up the good work.

Tamiya models simply fall together....with very little sanding or putty.....they make some very nice quality models...I have to agree with Ran on this one.

Aaaah...Gator to the rescue....to expose the heretics and light the flame of truth in the darkness of lies. You da man Gator!! As for DM......step into my office........you're fired!! j/k Man....like the Pavie.....there are so many variants and upgrade programs for the Blackhawk family that even the crew chiefs have trouble keeping up with them.......how are us mere mortals meant to do so. Regardless....lets try and keep this focused on the Pavehawk shall we....when our Seahawk progresses we can we have this discussion in another thread.
-
At least now we can blame it on someone  HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
-
We have plans to revisit Tonal and fix up issues....however....at this time I cannot even begin to guesstimate an expected completion date or confirm/deny if there will be any extra goodies added.

Before we get into some debate about the humanitarian issues of mines in warfare. NO...there are no plans to incorporate mines into our BHs. Although it would make a cool addition to CTI type conflicts and MP games. But at this stage....no immediate plans. Perhaps you may want to talk to Extraction for a helo that does this. He seems to have more time to model requests and such and may be able to accomodate you all.
