    I don't really like the name either. Just as been said already, it sounds way too mediocre. Like just another FPS. The name doesn't stop me from buying it but it might affect new customers. I'd like to see something more original and ballsy but even more I'd like to see the game ready so the name shouldn't be maken a too big of a deal.

    This is just pathetic. Why don't they sue book publishers and writers? I'm sure firearms and ie. car models are mentioned in them also. Games have more money in them I guess.

    Those who are seriously buying guns or airplanes base their decision on hard facts and real-life experiences, not on games. I can't think of any harm done for the companies if their products are displayed in video games.

    Btw Denoir, I don't know if you're aware of it or not, but Turkish aircraft continue to perform aggressive maneuvers into Greek airspace almost daily, ignoring the jurisdiction of Athens Air Traffic Control, harrassing passenger jets and sometimes engaging in dogfights with our planes.

    Am I right in thinking that Brussels can/will ask them to stop this before negotiations proceed?

    I don't really know anything about Turkey's politics, so I'll have to ask what the point of all that is?

    Anyway Brussels should definately tell them to stop, but I tend to believe that things rarely work like they should. It's called politics and diplomacy I guess.

    Dick Winters is a real person, not just a character. He never participated in the Pacific Theater of operations during WWII.

    Oh yeah, I forgot.. I just remembered that in the end of BoB there was something about him going to the Pacific. It's all hazy though. It's been a while since I've last watched it.

    What was the point of all this? To get out of Greece? You'll never get away with a stupid stunt like that. There ought to be a lot of better, easier and safer ways to accomplish that. Ugh.. Stupid.. ghostface.gif

    I've never been a big fan of the GTA games.. They're made for teenage boys who want's to do what their parents have told them not to do.

    My parents never had to tell me not to beat people to death with baseball bats, and run chainsaws through peoples stomachs. It was obviously a nono from day one tounge_o.gif

    biggrin_o.gif same here, and games were always just a more graphic and a more realistic way of playing war or anything else of the sort every kid plays with their friends in the backyard. Games have just fed my imagination, nothing more.

    go pick up swat 3 elite edition. i know its old but its really fun. the levels are really hard towards the end.

    I love Swat 3. Though I'm not very good with the tactics and I don't always feel that I'm one with the team when I have no idea how to stack up properly in certain situations and so on.

    I am thinking seriously of getting R:TW, it is available in New Zealand now and it seems like it is an extremely well developed game. My dilemma is do I want to get it now but force myself not to overindulge in it, as I have to study for exams in November.

    Only years of training in the shaolin temple can give you a strong enough mind for that. I suggest you study first, then buy the game. blues.gif

    I don't know if I'm going to see this one in the theathers, but I'm definately going to buy the DVD when it comes out.

    I saw a short preview about it a couple of days ago on TV. It said that they listened to some secret recording made in Finland IIRC to get Hitler's voice and way of speaking right.

    Just as I guessed. It didn't work sad_o.gif Looked like shit and lagged like hell. I've been upgrading my computer for at least two years now, but my parents never sponsor. I can understand that upgrading my computer isn't important and top priority, but ffs over two years I've been waiting. And my mom buyed herself a friggin expensive computer for work. She only needs it for word and excel. Actually I have the money to buy me a Radeon 9600 pro now, but apparently I'm not allowed to use the money on my computer.

    Enough angst now. I'm hungry.

    Last time I played M:TW I played with Germany. I had a quite big, but tecnologically backward kingdom. I had to compensate it by hiring mercenaries. Actually almost my whole army consisted of mercenaries, so I had quite a few visits from inquisitors killing my best generals mad_o.gif Next time I'm going to play with some arabic faction.

    Oh, and I'm drooling for R:TW. I just can't wait smile_o.gif

    Judo is in the games, and Tae Kwon Doe (sp?) probably is....even though its got virtually nothing to do with the real Tae Kwon Doe and was only put in there by a corrupt South Korean IOC official [/rant]

    Well, I like martial arts and watching those matches is quite fun so I don't mind, but what I'm really waiting for is the 2008 olympics with wushu included. smile_o.gif

    2. Cross of Iron.

    I think this is more unknown, so i'll explain a little. It takes place on the eastern front, and in the german frontlines. Germany is losing the war, but there is a war in the middle of the german forces. Captain Stransky wants to get the Iron cross, and after a one victory he's about to get it, but corporal Steiner, a war hero who has the Iron cross, knows the truth, the battle was led by a man who was killed in battle... This is a cruel and dirty movie about the true war. Deaths in slow motion, mindless killing... The scene in the end, Demarcation! Seiner! is something that has never been seen in movies. You have to see this one.

    I didn't like Cross of Iron. It was just like every story in Commando and I've read a lot of it, so I was bored to death during the movie.

    My all time favourite is Band of Brothers. smile_o.gif
