I've seen something like that sometimes. IIRC it has been all red and also all yellow outside. It's cool if you ask me. Dunno exactly why it happens.

What those soldiers did was horrible. And I'm very sorry about what happened to Hellfish' dog. If I were in the same situation I would've broken the fuckers legs so they would've ended up in a wheelchair for the rest of their lives (or something like that, but nevertheless they would've suffered). And even someone harassing my dog like that has already lost a tooth or two.

Kinda like in Donald Duck. There was a lunatic who wanted all the gold in the world and they found an asteroid full of gold, so they used Donald to fake a landing on the asteroid to drop the golds price so he could get it all.

Sorry, but if someone posts a new addon which he made and i like it, so i'll say that i like it. This is "Good behaviour" in my view. If u take something ... say "Thank You!". If u think that's mindless spam ... i'm sorry for that. But i think most of the addon-makers will care if there are some people who say that they like what he's done. I think you're right. If I released an addon and the thread would just die away because of no replys I think I'd feel pretty bad about it. I'd think it was considered so useless/crap that ppl didn't even bother to say it wasn't any good (in constructive way that is). And no offense, but saying something like that about people complimenting your addons might give a "You may need us, but we don't need you" type of picture.

Is there anyway to estimate how long ago there still was water? They haven't found any trace of vegetation, have they? So was it the same red landscape with rivers and such. That would've looked cool.

I've played OFP since the demo came out, actually that was the first time I heard of the game. PCGamer had an interesting looking FPS on their demo CD and it was something I hadn't seen before. It was friggin' revolutionary! Frankly I've had some bad luck with OFP. Before I had even completed CWC the CD got a huge crack on it. So I was without OFP for a looong time. Then GOTY came out and I bought it, but it lags on my outdated computer so I've never been able to fully enjoy OFP. I registered to these forums fairly late on April 02 2003 just so I could use the search function to learn some mission making, but then I found the Offtopic section and started posting. I was 14 and ignorant, posted some stupid comments and such, but I've learned a lot in here. A billion times I've decided to start making addons, but I haven't. Why, I don't know. Reading all your older member's posts makes me kinda sad 'cos I've missed so much, but since the community shows no sign of dying I bet there's alot to see in the future too.
