I'll have to agree with that! "Hind" has a great intro too, it was excellent considering that the game is allready, like 9 years old.

This is an interior of a Self-propelled howitzer, a SP howitzer that has a 155mm M185 Cannon. Sorry about the hard picture
-
To me it looks like the default T55, but with new textures. I bet it's a re-textured NVA T55 made by Remo. OK, now. I decided to post a quiz picture that is quite hard. He/she who gets this has really played too much OFP.

Yeah that's true! I was kinda expecting when they would have their first man down but seems that the insurgents were all poor at shooting, i would suggest more realism to the next episode, even though it's made to glorify the squad.

More pictures 1942 - A Norwegian fisher village in the Narvik fjord Addons : FDF 1.3, Suursaari by Edge, Leon's U-Boat, BAS objects from Tonal

I just want to ask you Mr. Burns. Why is it that, you dont have to post the addons that you used? It allways bugs me that people can't even bother to do that. Â
-
I'll add some more boring pictures I call this latest artwork "Craptastico" Remember to post the addons that you used, i hate when people don't. Addons : FDF 1.3 , Hailuoto by Berghoff

Thanks! It's really great to get feedback, positive or negative! There should be a rule, that you have to comment some picture on this thread to post your own The same harebell. Dang, too bad about the shadow on the left.
-
Yes, i am familiar with both of the addons. I was merely wondering if there is a new way to accomplish it. (I guess not?)
-
Could you somehow demonstrate the way it works? I mean, screenshots or something like that. I hope im not too demanding Does the unit spin around on the tank or does the gun move around? Or have you somehow made the impossible possible?

First post.  A harebell that used to grow outside our house. She has been raped by snow now.  Our crazy ass dog. (She´s mixed breed) A month or two ago. Clothespins I don´t have any of those fancy sceneric shots but i guess clothespins do the job! I used the Canon powershot A85 4.1 MP Edit : Last two images were oversized...

Agh, back again. Addons : HYK Modern U.S. Army Infantry Pack - Version 1.50 Kegetys´s Winter Nogojev

I bought it, i played it. I can say that Half-life 2 doesn´t differ from other games that much, the same old FPS. Shoot everything that moves kind of thing. But, the graphics are great (as in Doom3 also) and the facial motions are very nice and makes the characters personal like. It´s a game as any other, i can´t see it as an messiah for the gaming industry. But i like to play it anyway, just for fun.

Brilliant work there friend! It´s really neat that it´s based on a real location. Well done Berghoff, you have outdone yourself (Well, i hope not. Would be great to see more releases coming) !

OK,time to post some more pictures... These were are all taken June 2004 The lighthouse´s brickwall Marjaniemi´s fisher village Backwall of some cottage in Marjaniemi Oulu University´s weather station The Countryside The airstrip, facing South east By the way, your island is looking good. Couldn´t make it any better myself. Â
-
Here we go again. Marjaniemi, facing south The fisher´s village, facing west Starting to repeat myself Same village still Marjaniemi in it´s whole glory Hope this helps!
-
Very nice progress, really good that you can make your own buildings! but if you really want to nickpick, you can see that white 2 storey building next to the lighthouse in one of my pictures? It´s quite big to be true. Maybe add it next to the lighthouse? The textures might be a problem, but maybe just add generic white walls and somekind of windows. Nothing fancy needed there. Here´s a few pictures of the lighthouse, and also the fishing huts in the winter time. Marjaniemi´s Lighthouse Don´t mind the Finnish text again, nothing special is mentioned. Â
-
OK, here´s a couple of pictures i promised yesterday. Hailuoto´s typical scenery On our way towards Marjaniemi We have arrived at Marjaniemi, it´s general view from the parking lot The Lighthouse The Fishing huts in Marjaniemi, facing towards west. Marjaniemi´s beach and the wind generators, facing NW. Marjaniemi´s beach, facing SW

I have quite high resolution images from last summer when i was there, mostly from Marjaniemi, which is located on the western edge of the island, it is a small harbor with small fishing huts, the small FDF cottages would fit perfectly there. I´ll see tomorrow what i can do about those images and maybe show a few of em´ here. By the way, here´s some more pictures of the Hailuoto´s airfield, the text is in Finnish but no matter. Hailuoto´s airfield info also, i made a quick Paint edit of a map to show the field´s location Hope this helps!
-
Well, it´s not used much these days. Some small aircraft occasionaly land at the field, it was used as an emergency field at winter times in the 40´s and the 50´s, if i remember right.
-
Ah, Hailuoto. I have been there plenty of times, as i live in Oulu that is located about 15-20 km to the east of the island, and i can say it fits the scale of OFP perfectly. Beatiful island. Mostly dry pine forests, worn asphalt roads and a small village in the center with a firestation, local market , church and a school. Hope you will add the wind generators at Marjaniemi and a somekind of lighthouse, too bad you cant add the ferry that the people use to move between Oulu and Hailuoto Typical landscape of Hailuoto The Hailuoto´s airfield located at Pöllä

About the shotguns, are you planning on making a simulated shell, or go with the 45 bullets that all come out in a rush? You should really try out the LSC´s M590, it really makes you feel like shooting with a real shotgun, not having those 2 second long muzzleflashes. Thumbs up on the Baikal!
