Fuelstations: On fuelstations you'll now also find some placed barrels, pallets etc. On the fuelstation near the airport you'll additionally find a "repair-ramp" for vehicles. Mine Ltd.: Additionally to the two existing "Mine Ltd." locations there're two new places. One is a "gravel-mine" near the airport (former the ruines-area) and a small "mine" on the eastern part of the island. Ok, that's it for the moment. Changes, improvments and some other things are already planed. We keep you informed. Critics, ideas etc. are always welcome. But please remember the "Mapfact only" rule and keep your thoughts in "range". Greetz Plage

Krasnovia: Here the buildings have been "moved" a little and obejcts from LMS new pack have been placed, too. Additionally there's a small "pier" for boats close to the bridge. Greetz Plage

North-east Base: As you can see objects from LMS new pack have been also placed around the base. Also the fence(s) around the base was changed to a standard OFP one. The fences from the "Barracken-Addon" caused too much lag in the area around the base. This problem is fixed with the other "old" fences..no lag around the north-east corner of the island! That's how it looks at the moment (may not 100% excatly what you'll get). As you can see the parkingplace has been improved and there also some "marked" parking-areas around the airfield (textures done by sniping-jack). Additionally objects from LMS "MilObject-Pack (another new Mapfact.net addon) have been placed around the map. To prevent questions about used addons, here's a complete list (counts for all screens)... As we've some sparetime (one of the helping hands has PC-problems) I'll post some screenshots of the current progress on the next "Mapfact - Nogova" version (obviously v1.22). For the people who don't know already...I just want to inform you that we've decided to change the "desert" part of Nogova to "greenland" within the next version. Nogova International Airport: As you can see there's a new "military" part on the south-end of the airfield. It has six hangars and a large parking-area for aircrafts. I'm thinking about including two or more "Config.pbos" in the next version. Each version enables another taxiway (to the mil. part or the civilian part) and maybe also the runway on Krasnovia. This should be done easily because raedor was so intelligent (with his wise foresight) to seperate the config-file in an own .pbo. ...

Very nice to see some ppl are still working on Nam-addons. But if you make all these nice riverine forces, which I really appreciate, can you also do a Vietnamese trawler or even a bigger junk besides the US-part to have some valuable targets besides the small stuff (don't want to shoot fishing-trawlers ). And a screenshot showing a maybe future home for this nice ships... Greetz Plage -

@ blackdog: As I know some problems with the AI-paths in and around the buildings appeared...but I don't know nothing else about it, sorry. -------------- Somebody asked me if I could place some original lights/laterns from the game in the new areas of the map because he had some problems with a "light" addon in the northern base (lights were "flaring" and some ground-textures weren't lightned correctly). Mmmh, 9 positives here in this forum plus a couple of negs in an other. I'm not really sure about it...more votes could be helpfull in finding a decision! Nam - Trailer (MPG ca. 33MB) ...right-click and "save as..." if want to have it on your HD. The "mission" for this trailer was done long, long time ago (about two years or so). The cameras are the original ones from the game (waypoints and triggers) and no camera-script is used...I didn't found the time to write a cam-script so far, sorry. The backround-music is "Paint it black" from the Stones. Maybe some ppl have fun while watching it. Greetz Plage

Hello, I'll also give my comment on this map...but notice I only took a flight around with a chopper to see the mainchanges. I think the ideas of the highway, "bigger" busstations, facilities, storageareas etc. are great but in my opinion it simply doesn't fit to Nogova...the used addons have such huge dimensions, that normal housing areas look like "lego city" for example. It's also difficult to explain that large industrial areas on such a small island with a real small popultion. If you put all that stuff on an island specially designed for that "dimensions" it would surely look great! Only the airfield is really a bad mistake because it's really to large and not build up very well (arrangment of buildings) even if it has two landingstripes now. But that is just my point of view! Btw, I noticed some bugs... 1. A "road-end" ("konec") was placed in the wrong direction in one of the industrial areas...sorry, didn't remember the coordinate. 2. Some of the groundtextures around the new bridge(s) aren't fitting exactly to the ones surrounding them. Greetz Plage
