Well hundreds of people were lost in those attacks. Over one hundred brits died thats for sure, and I would imagine loads of people from all over were involved. I should just have lots of flags in your mission that you can imagine were lost. You would have the ol' Stars and Stripes in the centre (since it occured in the USA...well duh) surrounded by the Canadian flag, the Union Jack, maybe a French flag....just loads of western flags I rekon. I don't think you'll find anywhere a list of countries who lost citizens in those atrocities.

For the Kozlice...just select the Hunter from the resistance, for all the other weapons just select soldier with the correct gun in brackets after the game. This is fine fore just mucking around in the editor as you seem only capable of doing at this stage. But one day...who knows

The M134 has only ever been used mounted on vehicles. A concept design for a handheld version did exist, but due to astronomical recoil has never been used by any soldier ('cept in the movies). I've worked it out before...but I have mind strain and my head hurts...so I won't. but believe me...it'll break your arms.

I don't agree with you...I would argue my reasons, but I don't really see the point. Nice to see someone putting lots of effort into research and coming up with a nice balanced arguement though. If it works I would gladly fly it, but I can't see it working properly to be fair, not an be realistic at the same time anyway.

Alternatively...select a soldier (g36), soldier (steyr), soldier (XMS), spetnatz (bizon). The G36 (and mabe others) is in Red Hammer to my disappointment. The G36 wasn't produced untill 1995 and to my knowledge has never been used by the US military, yet they still carry them. Other than that Red Hammer is spot on lovely.

You can say there is no need till the cows come home...but you needent...nobody can make any untill we get our grubby little mits on the SDK. Some will make new aircraft with new colour schemes ontop of what we already have (eg Harrier out of Frogfoot)...but it just aint the same.

YEAH!!!! I finally compleated this stinking level (Red Dawn), I got Guba and started back towards my base via the enimy base to the east where the Hind is. Only when I got the the enemy base I was met by 2 (yes 2) T80s!!! I had a LAW as did the two ops I took with me in the Jeep so I thought - well I'll take these guys out and then go for the SCUD. I hid the Jeep and Guba (in the Jeep) in the trees and got me andmy men into advantageous positisions to take out the T80s. I knew the it'll take lots of shots - maybe even 3 LAWs to take out each T80 - so I was in a dilema. Do I get everybody to open fire on one at the same time and destroy it and then move on the the next before it opens fire on us? Do I set my buddies on one of the T80s and hopefully incapacite it whilst I make a desperate shot at the mussle of the other? Or do I just hop in the Jeep and go as fast as humanly possilbe? So I decided to peg it - since opening fire would alert them to our possisions and we would nver get by. I got everyone into the Jeep and put the peddle to the metal. I managed to get passed them and nearly back to base camp to drop off Guba before I takled the SCUD. But just then a cutscene kicked in. The cut scene showed the SCUD preparing for take off and then firling - OH s**t !!!! The cut scene then flicked to a pub in Everon with people all around this radio listening to the news and then some music. When all of a sudden it starts to hiss and then the ground begins to shake, and then off course the bright light....the end. Credits Interesting huh? Is there a time limit I should be aware of?

Not only morality, but the US wasn't making significant advances on in Vietnam. The terrain was like nothing that the US troops had trained for. Many involved had never seen any combat, let alone have to fight a hidden enemy and the gurrialla tactics emplyed by the NVA overwhelmed the US troops. I have no statistics for you. But this is not the point. The arguement does not belong on this thread. Or indeed this forum.

I am not one of any of the groups you have slagged off in this thread, but it saddens me that some people can be so offensive to fellow human beings. So you have a problem with the Jews? Whats the problem? Some of them happen to have more money than you? Is that a hint of jealousy I note in your tone? So what if the Isreales buy alot of their equipment from the USA? Its good stuff, if they have the cash then go for it, the stuff is of good quality and specification and when they advance them, they do a d*amned good job at it. I also would have to point out to you that they do make some of their own equipment (eg Galil, Desert Eagle, Uzi) and they certainly have the best airforce in the world. And all the other stuff you have said was totally unneccessary, the Americans do love themselves, I agree. But their patriotism and confidence is something that has to be admired, not shunned. The world could be alot worse, let it not be you that causes anymore hurt or anguish.

I agree with you there Redstorm on this one. Also I think we should add a co-pilot. But as a co-pilot the typical role would suck. Wouldn't it piss you off joining a multiplayer game only to be stuck in the role of a co-pilot and just sit there till either the game ends or you get shot down? I suggest making the co-pilot like a commander as in the tanks.

I want a co-pilot added, but what would one do? Navagate? Watch the horizon? It can be flown single handedly right? I think it should be added into the game to work much like a commander of the tanks.

I would almost agree with you. But I should imagine that the SBS are pretty d*amned good too. It some respects its a shame that their activities have remained such well kept secrets when compared to the SAS because we have no idea what they are doing. All I know is they are complete phycos and would eat the SAS for breakfast.

Ok, fixOFPsoundsplease and 3DSHROOM, I really do not believe that Operation Flashpoint should have equal sides. Far from it. If you made equal sides all the realism that adds so much to the game play and atmosphere would go right out the window and it would turn into just another shoot-em-up. If the sides were perfectly balanced it would suck. Part of the experience of playing this game is the need to learn your sides advantages and disadvantages. This adds lots in my opinion. If you want the sides to be equal then you'd want the resistance to suddenly be given all new hardware to be equal to the US and USSR armed forces, surely that sounds ridiculous to somebody. I do believe that it would be nice to have more Russian units, but not so that they then have exaclty what the US have 'to make it even' but for more varienty and enjoyment. Those of you complaining about the new weapon pack, whats the problem with it? BIS were very kind to add this for us despite the fact it wasn't promised to us, like the other stuff (that incidently did get to us). I am aware that only one of these rifles fits into the campaign storyline, buts thats not a problem surely, BIS didn't add them into the campaign. AKM74, the AH-64 entered production in 1982 and the new assault rifles were not added into the campaign. I know that these freebies were not what some of us necessarily wanted, but you can't complain about what you were given very generously for free.

You sound like and excellent spotter with you BINOCULARS, maybe BIS should add you a Stoner (thats a spotters rifle for the uneducated), shame it wasn't around back in 1985. Thinking about it though I may make it as a little toy addon.

The russians also have 3 very much harder tanks - but I hear nobody complaining about imbalance! Of the new weapons only the scoped XM fits into the story line anyway, so in actual fact the russians are only down buy one. In anycase the rifles the russians have are of more use (in my opinion) they are hugely powerful and have fully automatic (ok some US guns do too). I don't see it as a problem, this game is not about balance of side (or they wouldn't have put the resistance in) its about realism and game play.
