Any one know what this Russian Vehicle is?

Never seen that one before, and the comment looked quite wrong to me since I know what a vanilla MT-LB looks like, but hey, you learn something new every day. As for me being quick, just dumb luck, believe it or not I just got home from drinking with some friends and am quite buzzed . And yes, that cammo looks very strange

The site itself gives a hint: However, if you look up the MT-LB you'll notice it looks a bit different: http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/row/mt-lb.htm but with enough digging you'll find it is a variant of it, the MT-LBU: http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/row/mt-lbu.htm

    Helicopter-plane-Tank-ship MODUL

That idea has been around since the days of Falcon 3.0. Eventually we were supposed to be able to pilot choppers and tanks in falcon, it was way too ambitious, and even more so now, since flight sims seem to be more of a niche market than they were before. Was the same idea not the kiss of death for Janes simulators? I wouldn't wish that on BIS. While OFP's vehicles could use improvements, BIS should maintain their focus on the grunts, my 2 cents.

    T-72: Balkans on Fire

Why WOULD you? OFP - Infantry combat simulator with very arcadish vehicles T-72 BOF - Tank combat simulator. Apples and oranges. OFP is for when you want to play a grunt, this game will be for when you want to play a tanker. Unless this thing is a huge screwup, I think we can safely assume comparing OFP's tank behaviour to what we can expect from a dedicated tank sim would be like comparing Crimson Skies to IL-2.

    Memorial Day

Aleksandr Shushemoin - My grandfather from my mother's side, I was named after him. He fought in the Ukraine, and never spoke much about the war, but I know he was wounded in the back from a landmine (which some other unfortunate soul stepped on) and from what I recall had a great deal of liking for the Soviet Air Force, though he was a grunt. Alfonso López-Vargas, my father, who was an aircraft mechanic in the Cuban Air Force, and passed away from cancer at the young age of 36.

http://www.gmail-is-too-creepy.com/ I still use it, dunno, my correspondence with professors about courses, or with buddies trying to set up a paintball game, doesn't seem worthy of spying on. I guess my e-mail is mostly pretty boring.

    The Iraq thread 4

Just read this long but interesting article dealing with the reasons the Iraqi Air Force was a complete no-show this time around (The coalition obviously expected some sort of last stand from them - remember those Patriot missile friendly fire incidents). Quite a few interesting tidbits of information such as: Read in full here

    "Sorry for my bad english!"

Lol. "No thanks, dog I want a hot chocolate please" Anyways, after 12 years in Canada I speak English better than my native Spanish, but I'm still fully fluent even if I mess up the occasional word. Russian....I can hold my own but talk to me for more than 5 minutes and you'll know for sure I'm not native. Funny thing is, in any of the three languages I'm told my accent is perfect. Thing I've found about Spanish...different words/phrases have very different meanings from country to country. In Cuba, "Guagua" is slang for bus. In most other countries it's slang for baby. I remember one incident close to 10 years ago when a friend of mine from El Salvador called me and my mom told him I was in the shower because I had just gone to get my hair cut - "Se peló". Well, in El Salvador, apparently that phrase means "He went beserk"

The second word means "nightmare". Not sure about the first, but I get the feeling it might be an exclamation like "What a nightmare!" Nice pics

Anyone noticed the storage space doubled recently? Last week or so I noticed I had about 1400mb free, now I've got 2061mb, and the log-in page suggests it will continue to increase!

    Scammers Scammed !

Wow that is amazing, the photoshopped CCTV images of the courier holding the nonexistent cash, and then the fake phone call.....just wow *edit* Another such site: http://thescambaiter.com/ This stuff is pretty awesome. I remember a few years ago seeing a webpage that described someone baiting a scammer like this on a whim, but I didn't realize there were such pros out there
