    FFUR - Huge Release !!

Played through "Steal The Car" and "Clean Sweep" using the 1985 Woodland pack. I think I'm in love! - except - did you really have to add a health bar to my Flashpoint? c'mon, that's heresy! Other than that detail, great job guys! *off to replay Resistance, Retaliation and CWC* *will do it all again afterwards with the 2005 pack*

Just discovered Molotov - a bit like early Beastie Boys en Espańol. Been listening mostly to their first album, żDónde Jugaran las Nińas? (link has short samples, same site as Red Oct posted) "Chinga tu Madre" and "Gimme Tha Power" are the two I like best. They also had a good song in the Y tu mamá también soundtrack ("Here comes the Mayo") And they have some interesting covers, like the Bo-Rap, and a very catchy spanish version of "I turned into a Martian" by the Misfits.

    Typhoon Enters Service

I remember reading that they will install the gun but will not order any ammo for them...but hey, at least it's an option in the future

Chaika (Seagull) II (Manufactured 1967-1972): Both together: I have to say, after handling these, most modern cameras feel like toys. Especially the Chaika - there's a lot of metal in that one, I'm sure you could do some damage if you threw it at someone, and it would probably not feel it at all itself.

I know I posted a couple of pics of these ages ago, but I decided to play with the macro of my new camera today (weather has been sucking lately so not much opportunity to shoot outside ) and I figure my two old Russian cameras make interesting subject Lomo "Smena" ("Young Generation") Symbol (early 80's): Interestingly, I just found that a number of these are still up for sale in their original packaging: http://shop.lomography.com/smenasymbol/

Hey, wow...I remember them....how long ago was that? must have been my early-mid years of high school. "Paranoia, Paranoia - everybody's coming to get me!" pretty cool of them to do - I remember The Offspring tried to do the same with Original Prankster (though IMO their last worthwhile album was Ixnay) - but Sony threatened to sue.

Â Â Â Â That's a good list I like each of the bands you mentioned. Never heard of Matthew Good band, I'll have to look into them. Â Â Â Â Top 5 bands I've been listening to recently are, 1. Pink Floyd 2. Steve Miller 3. The Doors 4. The Cars 5. Bil... uh never mind on numer five, I bet no one likes them and would think I'm crazy Ah, how could I forget Pink Floyd! I can't get enough of The Wall . Anyone who's into Godsmack - I'd recommend getting some Alice in Chains..., they're named after an Alice in Chains song afterall! (Liked the self titled Godsmack CD...not much after that) Matt Good (he's now without the Band :P) is a Canadian artist....don't know how big he is outside of Canada, but he's one of my favourites - puts on an awesome live show as well . Try looking for "In a Coma" - Greatest Hits double disk with bonus DVD of all his music videos *edit* review of it Here

Yeah, I'm in the same boat - recently I've been getting a lot of older stuff. Partly it's my musical taste is changing (Of the albums I've bought that came out within the last 5 years....there's a good many that got passed down to my 15 year old sister as I wondered "what was I thinking?"), and partly it's the reality of being a poor college student - I usually go to CD Warehouse and buy used CDs at $5-10 a piece Stuff I've been listening a lot to lately: Black Sabbath - Reunion (live 1998) Creedence Clearwater Revival - Chronicle Volume I Soundgarden - Superunknown Alice in Chains - Jar of Flies Pearl Jam - Rearview Mirror (greatest hits 1995-2003) Johnny Cash - The Man Comes Around (thanks to the title track being on the Dawn of the Dead soundtrack, and further praise of it by supah ) Matthew Good Band - Underdogs <- might end up getting his latest, "In a Coma" - greatest hits, even though I have most of the songs on other albums, for the music video DVD that comes with it.

Might explain why I went through 2 clips of pistol ammo, at 30% chance to hit, with no results . I just figured Neo got turned into a zombie.

I like it, the picture on it's own would say little, as would the title on it's own would, but together they tell a story

Dang it, do you have to tell me that? I love calamari aarrrrgh! Well, I can live without calamari, but put a swordfish filet in front of me and I won't care if I'm eating the intelectual equal of Einstein *hasn't had swordfish in about 15 years and still has fond memories of the last time*

How is WWII remembered in your country?

In Cuba, WWII is not taught much, except perhaps for the Russian point of view. (and the bombing of Hiroshima - don't believe I heard of Nagasaki - some of that has likely changed since I was in grade school) However, out of my own interest, as a kid I did read at least two books that dealt with the Western Allies. I'm fortunate enough to still have those two books: Dam Busters: Dirty Dozen: The foreign war that was most mentioned was the Vietnam war, and I remember that emotionally, I equated the USAF roundel to the Nazi swastika. Since I also have Russian grandparents who lived through the war (and my grandfather fought and was wounded) - from their point of view it's the most horrific - and proudest moment in history. For them it was the most desperate kind of war, and all out war for survival against long odds. The minute Britain did.

    Urban Dead

PD's are usually not a good place to log off in, Zombies seem to go for them before any other building. Hospitals may be a close second, I was staying in one with one of my characters, went out, ran low on AP's and stayed in a barricated library near by instead, next morning I wake up and find the hospital was overrun How lucky is that?

    Killer Lakes...

wow , never heard of that either....scary hmmmm: Am I the only one thinking they could use this as a very cheap power source? Perhaps have something good come out of this.

Yesterday I sent out three pictures to a free daily news magazine (circulation in Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton & Vancouver), and today my roomate called me while I was in class to tell me he that while he was reading the paper, he had seen a picture very similar to one I have hanging on a wall - then he realized my name was under it . Download the magazine as PDF here - Approx 5mb <- check page 22 So that put me in a mood to go out and take some more shots downtown after class (beautiful day for it anyway) And now to top off my day I shall sit down with a beer and watch the Family Guy movie [stewie]Beautiful. And while we're at it we can light up a dubey and watch porn.[/stewie]

Kickass! I really like it! Is that kid a reflection? And uhm.. May it be as simple as Lenin? Also, really nice pictures everyone. This thread really rocks what the original looked like: and even more original: as for the bust: José Martí
