Are you really a nomad? Just wondering.  <span id='postcolor'> lol I'm a computer engineering student. I have little time for TV anyway (not really right now, since I'm done for the semester and have 4 months off for the summer). Either way I don't miss it much surprizingly, I get my news from the net, play games or go out with friends. Oh and I'm on a 56k . but if I really want to get a big file badly I just let it download at night. I remember in my last year of high school, my English teacher, who was only 25, told me that during college she didn't have a TV, since she just didn't have the time to watch it, and what little money she had could be spent on more useful or more fun things....I didn't believe her at the time, but how true

I remember in an MP game I was running around with a Bizon and a Blackhawck with machine gun spotted me, the pilot hovered while the gunner sprayed the ground around me with his M2, so I just went prone, fired back at the gunner and had the pleasure of watching him fall out of the chopper.

lol 90% of the songs posted here don't fall in the category he's asking for, recent as in 2001-now

Maybe, but I never heard of it or played it

The aircraft simulation in OFP isn't the best, but I've been waiting for a game where you can fly, get shot down and run around with an assault rifle for a long time, and BIS finally delivered. Amazingly enough the only other game I've ever played that let me do anything like it was Corncob 3d: Ah my 486 days . That was a fun game, I enjoyed shooting up alien vehicles with my pistol after ejecting, being able to call an ambulance, if close enough walk to my airbase and get into a new plane, ect.

lol Reminds me of the soccer player who "gently" bit the tip of his teamate's penis in celebration after his teammate scored a goal. I gotta say, this sort of thing seems to be happening pretty often in predominantly European sports. When was the last time anything like that happened in Hockey or Baseball?

A while? I used to think that was funny in grade 8

$23000 a year still ain't much...last year I made $19000 working mostly part-time hours at Loblaws (grocery store). A friend of mine just quit the reserves after injuring his knee during an excercise, and the army refused to reimburse him. Either way $23000-30000 is pretty low by Canadian standards, and i've read plenty of articles about sub-standard government housing for the members of our forces. The college program I'm in boasts an average starting salary of $40000.

I support may day and all but seeing the old hardliners in Russia carrying portraits of Stalin has the same effect on me as seeing someone carriying a portrait of Hitler.
-
Basically it's "Worker's day" If there was a Communists calendar that would be the most sacred day.

"Boss" To a dog, you're family. To a cat you're an employee. my damn roomate's cat seems to think my room's her secondary litter box

Do we not have those anymore in this wonderful Politically Correct world? Funny, in the old days shit like this would likely be blamed on satan and pagan religions. Now it's "movies and videogames" and "His parents didn't love him enough". No one likes to look at the fact that some human beings are just fucked.

(South Vietnam). I always got the feeling they were just lumped with the number of NVA and VC killed. Anyways my vote, WWII. So many different fronts, so many new technologies and tactics were developed...it's mind boggling really. WWII brought about jet fighters, programmable computers, cruise missiles, nukes, and even some primitive guided AA weapons. Funny how most of the groundbreaking stuff was developed by the loosing side...technology isn't always everything. For example did you know the Soviets used dogs with explosive vests as anti-tank weapons? They would train the dogs to sneak behind a tank and crawl under it. A dentonator would then set off the explosives. Aparently this was quite effective and the surviving dogs took part in the victory parade in Stalingrad.
