Yay!

Well, I was at Pairlament last night and it was great, with the exception of when David Usher promised to play Ozzie...he did....kind of....the damn bastard teased us all by playing the music to Crazy Train but singing the lyrics of that "I'm Coming out so you better get the party started" crap . I did enjoy when they played Ressurection though....old school Moist. And the chick who played guitar was damn hot. Oh well. The Arrogant Worms hosted the show! They rule! *sings* It's cool to be Canadian....It's not because we're better, it's just that we're less worse!

Sorry Warin, couldn't complete the mission...the target was too well defended. I had enough to drink, trust me, but there were barricades set up around the Pairlament buildings, and groups of RCMP at every corner, not to mention those walking among the crowd. Now if I only had a Bizon I could have silently taken out the corner guard stations, hidden the bodies and scaled the barricade . Oh well it was great fun
  3. Hey guys, well, here's the deal. Before OFP came along, about the same time I started college and readed in my 486sx/25 for a Pentium III 733 (Overclocked to 900), I hardly ever touched FPS's. I was a flight sim junkie all the way, the more realistic and challenging the sim the better (my favourites were Falcon 3.0 and Su-27 1.5). Lately, long after finishing the original 1985 Campaign and Red Hammer, I've been itching to get back into the virtual cockpit, and I want to buy the best flight sim out there, so how about you help me decide what it is and why? Gere's what I'm looking for in a sim: Realism Dynamic Campaign Good Graphics Good AI (I don't want to be able to predict exactly what the AI will do after the first few dogfights) Realism Good Multiplayer Preferably some Eastern planes to fly (Hey I grew up with MiG's flying around my hometown) Right now I'm leaning towards byuing Il-2. I love WW2 flight simms, and here's finally one that focuses on the Eastern Front, but alas I still don't know much about it. So, your homework assignment for today is to inform me about your fabourite Flight sim. Let me know what the best thing out there is, and why.

Good luck Tyler, damn the timing for that seems a bit weird...Shipping out on Canada Day? Â . Me, I'll be spending the day making an ass of myself with my friends like we do every July 1st, Getting drunk and Partying on the lawn of Pairlament Hill . Oh well, Happy Canada Day to you in advance.

Half the times when I bail out I don't make it. My coolest death so far was when my MiG-3's engine caught on fire, and the plane exploded a second after I bailed out, engulfing me in the fireball. I then got to watch my dead body freefall for a few thousand feet

Well, thanks for the suggestions guys, I went and got IL-2...I love the damage models! My jaw dropped when I was shooting at a Stuka and I shot it's left landing gear off. This game should keep me busy for a while....if I can get rid of one problem that is....For some reason, it takes 12 (Yes 12 minutes for the game to load...I timed it!....I actually installed the game 3 times thinking it wasnt wortking before I decided to let it sit and see what happened....this is very strange since when I'm actually in the game it runs completely smooth with all the detail settings set to high. I'm at my folks right now downloading and burning the patches for it...I hope that fixes the problem, if not i'm e-mailing customer support and see what they say. Anyone else run across this problem?

It was the best fighter the Republic had in the Spanish Civil War, and could outfight the first versions of the bf-109 (unless they had German aces on them, that's it). Well, my comp's not that high-end unfortunately, plus I don't feel like waiting, who knows when it'll be out?. P III 733 (Overclocked to 900) 512 RAM, Radeon 7500...I'm actually about tio go out and take a close look at IL-2. Ah yes, the I-16 and the Spanish Civil War. The Republicans called it "La Mosca" and the facists called it "La Rata"

    Lyrics

Try this one out. HINT: This guy isn't best known for his music. I want you to get a gun And head on down to Washington I want you to climb up high High in the sky And shoot them all They don't deserve to live What did they ever give to you [spoken] You know what I want you to do? I want you to go upstairs to that apartment where that guy keeps playing that Barry Manilow record "Copacabana" over and over and over again. I want you to ring the doorbell, and when he answers the door. I want you to stab him in the neck with a number 2 pencil over and over and over again because he must pay! Chop him up and put him in the freezer and as you leave the apartment light the place on fire! ##### in my #### These are the ##### in my #### These are the ##### in my #### You should dress up like a clown Bark Bark Howl [spoken] Hi you never called me back. I got the pictures back from thanksgiving. I don't know why you wear that earing. If your father was alive I don't know what he'd say. I was talking to Mrs. Corelli yesterday. You know Bobby Corelli who was in your grade? He got promoted again in his law firm. He's making 175,000 a year now. Are you on drugs? Why don't you ever call me back? When are you gonna get married son? Isn't it about time you settled down and got yourself a wife and got yourself a house and got a kid, and got a car, and got a dog, and got a lawn mower, and got a nice picket fence... ##### in my #### These are the ##### in my #### These are the ##### in my #### The ##### in my #### Why, why is it every time i gotta Wait on fuckiin' (friggin) line [spoken] Why is it every time i turn on my television set I gotta see Sally Struthers and those starving kids? Why can't somebody just send her a check and shut her and those God damn kids up? Jesus Fucking Christ! (Where's Rob Reiner when you need him?) Why, why don't they drop the bomb Right on top of everyone ##### in my #### These are the ##### in my #### These are the ##### in my #### Stop, stop, stop with the singing!

    Biggest thing to hit ofp!

Konyak, great work. Personally I think the An-225 is a bit much for OFP. After all it is the biggest cargo plane in service anywhere, and as far as takeoffs and landings go....well there goes realism. Myself I would have gone with a STOL medium sized cargo plane like the An-72, seems a bit more suitable for OFP: But then again, you don't see me making anything so I'll shut up . A good side to it is that the An-225 can carry tanks . Take your time to finish it, it's looking beautiful so far.

I inform myself thank u very much, and a vote should be a vote. Nothing less, Nothing more. I've personally never voted in a federal election. Not because I was uninformed, believe me I've done my homework. But because I felt that none of the parties fighting for my vote deserved itm and I decided to consiously make a statement with my non-vote as many others do - If you don't give me something worth voting for, I ain't voting.
