AFAIK Wobble left because too many people here were opposed to his views, it's a shame, I thought he was an ok guy, and pretty entertaining sometimes. As for you and him being friends, I'm still unsure that you're not his son

Well, I'd like it but wouldn't be able to use it much since my college has a policy against chatrooms. The threads on this forum feel like a chatroom sometimes anyway.

Who would like to see a futuristic type mod?

I think Aliens or Terminator would fit the engine perfectly (more so with Terminator since new animations would be needed for the Aliens) -

My mom, sister and I left Cuba just before I turned 10 and a bit after the fall of the USSR. My dad had died of cancer a few months before, the economy was falling appart without economic aid from Russia, and another factor that made my mom decide to leave was that there was also some racial hatred directed towards Russians at the time. (some communist Cubans felt betrayed by the Russians for the breakup of the USSR). So we left Cuba to live with my mom's parents in the Ukraine (they are Russian citizens living there), which wasn't hard to do since my mom had Russian citizenship. The situation in the Ukraine was better than in Cuba, but my mom decided there wasn't a future to be had there, there was a lot of unemployment, crime, political uncertainty, so she decided ro try Russia. We spent about three months in Moscow living with friends of the family, and my mom found that if anything, things were somewhat worse there than in the Ukraine, so she got plane tickets back to Cuba knowing that there would be a stop-over in Gander, Newfoundland Canada...once there we applied for refuge status.

Civvy. I'm a bit of a pacifist, so other than playing war simms or shooting my friends with a paintball gun, I have no interest in the military.

Speaking of modern soldiers I saw this recent picture of Iraqui soldiers during a military parade (Y'know the ones Sadam is holding to show that he's not going to go down quietly). Anyways there's an unusual accesory in their uniform i find kind of dusturbing:

A perfect example of why we need an international war crimes tribunal. It's never as simple as good vs. evil, there are always shades of both on either side. Maybe someone should show these to Bush, or perhaps he has already seen them, and that is why he is so opposed to an international tribunal which may show that the US Armed Forces are not solely composed of boy scouts.

Ever gotten your roomate, who never drinks, totally sloshed at a cottage in the middle of nowhere? THAT's freaky . I just came back from spending 6 days at a cottage in Quebec with some friends, 2 nights ago we were mixing drinks and my roomate finally decided to join us in drunkeness in a MAJOR way. He downed 4 screwdrivers in under an hour, and after chugging the first one against our advice, he went completely nuts. Our BBQ was broken so he tried to eat raw hamburger, he spillt a drink all over his face (Vodka + orange juice in the eyes hurt), kept mooning us and yelling out "Shake your Wee-wee!", and all night long he was loudly declaring that he was completely sober and we were all drunk bastards and swinging a broom at us. The worst part was he kept demanding vodka. after the fourth screwdriver I hid the booze and just gave him straight OJ and he couldn't tell the difference . When we ran out of OJ I told him he had had all the vodka and he kept repeating shit like "The bears are coming, Alex, you've got to go to town and get more vodka, we need vodka to feed the bears!". Can't wait till I develop the pictures from that trip . Man that was an interesting night.

So let's drop it, Discussing religion is pointless, no one never wins that argument

Favourite leader: He just missed the 20th century, he was killed in battle in 1895, but I'd have to say José MartÃ, a leader of the Cuban war of independence against Spain. Least favourite: God, in whatever form he/she has appeared since human existence. Look at how much misery religion has brought about. the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the witch hunts, the mess in the Middle East today, Sept 11, Japan during WWII (The Emperor was God, remember?), all the priests who molested children, ect. Not to mention all the cults people are somehow duped into following.

"Self Esteem" is IMHO the ultimate punk rock song.) Pearl Jam Pennywise
