Whoa, some awesome stuff in the last couple of pages! Fred, Gagamel, Ares, Flashpoint_K - great shots! Was storming for a bit tonight, went out on the balcony with my tripod: Then my roomate decided to surprize me as I came back in.

I can help out with Spanish

a friend introduced me to Temple of the Dog - Green River (later Pearl Jam) with Chris Cornell as well as Eddie Vedder on vocals. Awesome stuff. it was a project done as a tribute to Andy Wood, of Mother Love Bone, after he died of a drug overdose. Haven't been able to give Mother Love Bone a good listen yet though. You may have heard the single Hunger Strike and not realized it wasn't just Pearl Jam Hunger Strike video (40mb)

Awesome shot GoOB!

I will likely implement that a little while after the MP config is released

it's also interesting to see U.S. aircraft in Russian markings

Almost had a bit of a crisis when a miscommunication with one of my guests resulted with none of them bringing alcohol, by which time all establishments that sell booze in Ontario were closed (at 6pm on New year's eve....what are they thinking?!?), but thankfully French Canada is not too far a drive, and there you can get well stocked at any gas station. Vive le Québec! In fact, we ended up being so well stocked, that after my guests woke up in the morning, they invited themselves over for tomorrow night (or technically tonight) to finish the rest of it off .

I think there is a huge difference in the intent and design of the Orlyonok and the Ekranoplan. It seems the Orlyonok designers went for a sea plane that takes advantage of the Ground Effect Principle where are the Russians went for a heavy lift design based soley on the IGE principle. Just want to jump in and say that the Orlyonok is also Russian
-
well, the camo scheme of the plane is real, just the US Navy markings have been photoshopped on. *edit* and to think of it logically - if the US Navy were to accuire a flanker variant, wouldn't it be the Su-33?
-
It's a fake . It accompanied an article proposing that the US buy Su-27 airframes and put in their own avionics, as opposed to developing the F-22 and F-35. They did however, buy some MiG-29's *edit* from the same URL the image you linked is at: http://www.flightjournal.com/articles/su27/su27.asp

Went downtown and played around with some nighttime/long exposure settings.

Ahem! seriously, I like the Russian voices. The actually say the proper things . Of course, I know these were not professionally done and I don't expect them to sound perfect.

Tested it out a few minutes ago, it works very fine here, the inverted 'v' of the AK74PSO1 should always be pointing out the "wanted target point" though, but it sometimes happen that the bullets don't always reach the target point because of the distance or because you're using the 'full auto' mode. <s>Sorry, I meant the AKMB of the 1985 pack, without the PSO sight. During that nightwatch mission in the CWC campaign where you're guarding the Vulcan, killed one Spetz Natz and grabbed his AK, and then for the life of me I couldn't hit the second one. Died a couple of times doing this, and then tried shooting at the wall of the house from where I had killed the first Spetz Natz (a bit over 50 meters away) and on semi auto the bullet puff appeared almost a meter above where the iron sight was aiming</s> *edit* Nevermind, hadn't realized the old packs had not been updated yet
-
Finally got a chance to play this for a while. Great stuff! Runs very smoothly, and the new lighting effects look great on landscape as well as vehicles. Bug report - The AKMB still has the same problem the silenced and scoped AK had from the previous release - it fires way too high above where the iron sight is aiming.

And NATO never fought a renegade Soviet force in 1985....get over it man

You have to place the FFUR launcher in the root flashpoint directory. Â yeppers. if you want a shortcut on the desktop, make a shortcut, don't just put the launcher in the desktop folder
-
The big drawback to visual basic is that to distribute your programs you need to also distribute the runtime DLL's. A great alternative that's often overlooked is Delphi. (pretty much Visual Pascal). It compiles executables that will run just fine by themselves. The launcher application for the latest FFUR releases was done using Delphi 5.0.

If you haven't yet, check out Dookie.

Nice shot speaking of interesting: hard day at work (retail during christmas ) + a few beers afterwards + smoke break + "hey, that tree looks kinda cool, it's glistening, you should take a picture" =
