I asked if they had ASUS V8200 t5, but i got no replie yet  <span id='postcolor'> 128 or 64 mb doesn't matter. I just read a test somewhere and they wrote there was no noticeable difference. It only matters when you use very high resolutions and you CPU will give up before that, so what's the point. Go for a Ti500 I'd say.

Are the red hammer missions as good as OFP????

I just turned on extended armor switched to the driver and drove like a mad man, Managed to shoot down both Mi17s and the Hind on the move too. <span id='postcolor'> Now that I have tried that too, I would still say that you just heed to stay clear of the bad guys. Forget the tanks just leave on foot and run all the way. Then when you've liberated Sergie, take the Shilka and blast the hind away. Find the vehicle's at the beach and kill the solders from the Shilka, then take the BDRM and race along the cost avoiding all encounters. -
Looking forward to the new year. Your campaign and also the Falcon 4 (for those unfamilliar, the OPF of military flightsimulators) Unified Team's superpack 2 In all respects I hope the next year will be better than this one

Since there was some complaining about the screenshot in my previous post was taken while in cadet mode, I decided to replay the mission in veteran: Total number of kills: 126 (vehicles and personel). My wife says I am ill.
-
Is there anyone who has tried them both who would care to comment which one is best and if Between the Lines is worth getting?
-
Maybe it's because the chute catches fire?
-
Cool - how many mission will there be? Will it be realistic (1985 like) or action style (Red Hammer)? When? Keep up the good work!
-
Ok - thanks, I'll keep clear.

I knew it too when I started the campaign and as long as SpaceWonder doesn't tell more details, I think you will enjoy the campaign anyway.

Ugh what is up with this hidden agenda mission?

Now run like #### towards base. When u reach the officers, u should see the cutscene. they should enbark the boat, and u should the longer ending cutscene. <span id='postcolor'> Why not just casually walk up to the T72 and put a satchel charge there too? That's what I did. -
I already have Redhammer. I'm interested in knowing opinions about BTL. So far there is only negative?
-
Ok - then you post the next screenshot
-
Nope, there is only one (parked) hind in this mission and you can't use it, so I blew it up instead  It was all done from a T80 except for the final task. That was done on foot. Â I will not reveal what that task is here because of those who havn't yet played Redhammer, but you can check a screenshot here. Is there more than one ending in Redhammer? And what conflict is the ending supposed to be? A sequel?
-
LoL - I needed a calculator to get these figures : Personel: 77 Vehicles: 18 Total kills: 95
-
Yes, Avonlady, I play in cadet mode. I don't think that it is easier than playing in veteran, except navigating. I have also played in veteran some times. The reason I reverted to cadet is because I find it more realistic!! YES. In real life your field of view is not limited to straight forward, you feel, see and sense what happens besides you. I think that the cadet mode options helps regain that lost sense.

I don't think we are taliking about the same mission. It is a helicopter, not a truck, you are flying. Anyway, the trick is to hover at very low altitude. If you are too high, you need to point the nose down and will consequently pick up alot of speed and there simply isn't time for multiple passes overhead the tanks. Ok - maybe not impossible - but hard! Just got past it

Tor replied to BlastinFooz619's topic in OPF MISSIONS
I think that the idea is to avoid encounters besides your objective. I think that is great, because it add to the realism that there also are soldiers that no necessarily has anything to do with the mission at hand, just like the civilians. -
After repairing the helicopter, how do I kill the M1As? There simply isn't enough time using rockets.
-
Anyone know how to get past this mission? There must be a trick? A Cobra or Hind somewhere? It's impossible to destroy two M1A's with rockets!

Just look at the intro where Demitri is talking at the same time as the officer. I can live with it though, but I feel a bit like this is a ripoff. Those who supported BIS by buying the bug riddled version 1.0 should ofcourse be given Redhammer free of charge, just as those who now buy the gold edition. Especially after being a betatester for months -
Yes, but I don't like the AI in the updates past 1.20 I am looking fforward for the next patch, hopefully BIS will have the last details tweaked.

I really fancy that misson. I can play it over an over again! This time I took out 29 soldiers. I think it's the best mission of the game (havn't tried Red Hammer yet thought).
