Look in device manager under Sound devices - if you have a IDT high definition audio codec - disable it - seems that it works for me - the game no longer crashes!

I found that it is related with my SB Audigy SE sound driver. When I disable this driver in hardware menu, the game works just perfect! (But with no sound, of course... ) If the driver is enabled - the game crashes - sometimes after some seconds, sometimes after 5 minutes. Does anyone has some suggestions? Driver reinstall does not help and there are no newer drivers.
