And i totally agree with the guys commenting back on the ye olde days when KINGS and other royals would go to battle, but heres the difference, when our royals went to war, they did so only ever in a time of desperate need, well our kings anyway, our kings would only ever go to war if our lands were ever in danger, i mean sure princes would go all around the world and what not, but today its different, our guys are out there nearly everyday for months at a time. Plus this war is a joke, I'm all for supporting your men out there, but he was selfish and idiotic in his decision to go out there, as hes putting our men in danger fighting in a war thats unjustifiable, i could understand if the Germans were invading again, but he went over there to shoot at villagers with AK47's who are doing no more then protecting there land, whats the bloody point? Thats the main reason i never joined the army even though it was my plan since i was 13, hell no am i going to risk my life for crap pay, dodgey equipment fighting a BS war when there are much more justifiable locations to "liberate" (Zimbabwe for one)

Alot of the time you hear about American police killing people its usually a one sided afair, i mean if a cop and a civilian shoot at each other, thats a shoot out and its pretty wide reported if that were the case. In my honest opinion, i think American cops are trigger happy, the slightest problem and they have their gun drawn, i remember a while ago, this family was pulled over and they were mistaken to be someone else, anyway, the cops pulled them over, and walked over to them guns drawn, and had them all hands on head in a field, the guy warned them he had a dog, and the dog comes pouncing out of the car, as dogs do and he was just sniffing at the officers, it seemed the dog was hyper as most dogs are when they meet new people, anyway one cop had his shotgun drawn facing down, and the dog went to sniff it and the cop blew the poor dogs brains out. Protect and serve right?? Cp[s om every country have been more like enforcers for the government, not once has a cop ever "protected" or "served" me, in most cases if you ask a cop for directions or help they tell you to go away because they are busy (according to my experiences) I honestly believe if American cops were in better shape they wouldn't have to rely on guns to restrain their suspects.

The one video that comes to mind anytime i think of Brazil, is when the cops had a shoot out with these two guys in the middle of a busy road, and the cop drags the injured man behind a van, out of view of the cameramen and shoots him in the head. Now i can quite rightly say that would never happen in England, and the same that the cop didn't even get told off let alone anything else. I've heard of alot of the Brazilian anti-drug policemen or something like that, the dudes that have the helicopters and are armed to the teeth with heavy assault rifles and full body armour and generally go into the ghettos and pretty much declare war on the gangs (who are generally made up of kids no older then 24)

Believe me i don't believe every thing i see on TV (actually theres a TV show over here on Bravo that was dedicated to showing cops being a-holes) Theres a difference between believing something a Fox newscaster tells you, and seeing a cop beat the crap out of a man who posed no immediate threat. Melbourne sounds like.... well not a very nice place lol, damn i'd never heard of any of those situations. Considering I'm in the 1% of people in my city that aren't white, the police have been pretty good considering a lot of the residents are scummy racists, almost expected the cops to be the same, but they seem to be quite intelligent and a lot of my mates have been doing public service courses at college and uni for about 3 years now tying to become officers. The main thing that put me off of American cops,wasn't the videos of them going apeshit or anything, but the customs agents when i was in Atlanta Airport trying to catch a connecting flight to michigan, and got treated like a criminal when they decided i might not want to go back home and pretty much all the evidence i gave them to prove my story they told me i could have typed it myself and other foolish crap. Not to mention the fact that in America cops are more like babysitters, i mean here, i get into a fight with a guy, we scrap it out then go our separate ways, in America it seems the cops would be called, or hell, someone told someone else to "f*** off" and someone would call the cops. The residents i've met are incredibly nice, in comparison, I don't think i bumped into one stranger that didn't give me a smile and say hello, which was weird as hell.

Forget it. Noone wants another war in Europe, not the NATO and not the russian president. There aren't enough economic interests in that area to start WW3. Nothing to do with economics or anything of the sort, its all about power, Serbia doesn't want to look like an idiot to have their own province taken from them. And the fact that G W has been rubbing it in Russia's face is enough, that plus the whole missile thing is just another insult in the face of Putin. At the end of the day, Kosovo is nothing to fight over, but when your closet enemy is seen to have one over on you, its never good your reputation as a leader.

My stance on the whole Kosovo thing is that its wrong. My fiancé was born in Belgrade and spent a lot of her child hood all over Serbia, including Kosovo + Krajina (She lost her home in the Croatian operation to take Krajina) Anyway, this is what she told me, that a lot of Albanians pretty much migrated into Kosovo, illegally mostly, it was pretty much a Civilian invasion, but thats when friction started and the Albanians and Serbs started killing each other, of course i don't know a lot about this as my woman only told me the Albanians killing people and pretty much terrorizing the Serbs who quickly became the minority, obviously it was a two sided affair but you get the idea. But Nato stepped in and pretty much stopped the Serb army from moving out the Albanians by bombing them. I mean, if a huge bunch of scots moved in newcastle, should newcastle become a Scottish city? Hell naw. At the end of the day, this is being used by the "Coalition of the willing" to pretty much initiate a war on Russia, Bush wouldn't care if it wasn't rubbing dirt in the face of Russia, who we all know we are on tenderhooks with. 90% sure there WILL be a military operation by Serbia backed by Russia to forcefully take back Kosovo, then Nato and the Americans will get involved. Its Inevitable.

Great addon, just some things i'd like to see in the next phase of updates The old US Desert camo and minimal webbing. If you see these guys, a lot of them look out of place (Aka uniforms are too big, helmets are usually too big ect ect) Not that i know if thats even possible to give off that look in Arma, anyway :P plus helmets + balaclavas are more swat then Iraqi police (they seem to go all the way under the shirts probably hidden in the black) just have the balaclavas a bit lower to reveal more of the face and minus the gogs. To see females would be awesome but i doubt we will see that in Arma for a long time. On the topic of the partisans using second hand gear, it would be fantastic to see whatever items they are using, be it boots or vests or caps, to have them seen to be very worn it, stains here and there, be it mud or blood.

You need to get some of the Partisans in tracksuits, the brightly coloured ones that were never in style. EG http://www.conversationware.co.uk/wp-cont....its.jpg But i guess it depends on what sort of partisans your trying to mold, cause a lot of the guys "dress" like older men, i think tracksuits and just things like trainers and fake Adidas bottoms would give some of the partisans a younger look. Although they do look under equipped, they look like they know what they are doing (drab colours + boots + minimal camo) So they seem and look professional, adding things like normal clothes or brightly coloured clothes and minimal webbing adds a bit of amateurism to it. Noticed, that at a distance the leg meshes into the foot, AKA the foot disappears and the leg continues through the ground, but that was only for a couple secs, its a specific distance i believe, but nothing to worry about. Btw great job using the javelins.

Right i've done the searches, i've spent months looking for the most basic inits such as the command to have a soldier in a car as driver or gunner, can't find it ANYWHERE on the net, checked the wiki, info overload, didn't see what i wanted. Anyway if anyone can just give me the basic line eg This getin Driver, or something, i have the basic grasp but not the correct one. Or direct me to a thread i may have overlooked, cheers.
