I've just started playing this game and wondered if I have to wait until there is the radiation warning before extracting? I went to an exit point before it happened but nothing actually happened apart from me dying. Also why can't I melee without weapons? I tried to punch someone that I was stood on top of for a few minutes but it wouldn't let me. As I had no weapons I had to leave them.

I cannot download the game at all. Do any of you here know how I can bypass the password thing on the bistudio store? When I go to https://profile.bistudio.com/profile/create-account it says I have to create a store account but it won't accept any passwords so I cannot download the game. I contacted support via the contact form and got this response: However the issue is still there. I just want to play the damn game :(

Ok so what is better BF2 / BF2142 / ArmA? To me ArmA looks pretty much like BF2 vanilla, but 2142 has been reduced to 19.99 in some GAME stores, including mine but if ArmA is worth it ill get that instead. I have seem some fan videos of the bugs that the games has and I just find them funny, another thing is what protection is they against the sad little idiots who use cheats to gain something? So if someone can answer me the questions that would be ace!

I have put all the graphics settings to the highest that they can actually go, but the terrain still looks blurry, infact it seems it cant make its mind up if its blurry or not as it changes constantly between the 2. Maybe its something set wrong in my cards settings or the games, but I want to sort it...I put down another game for this and had to pay more. I tried one of the Single Player missions and the character was 2D not 3D same with the trees. I can play other games fine so I wonder if its anything to do with a setting thats changed and shouldnt be or something. Another thing is that when these things happen and I press Escape to try and get to the options menu and make sure that things are as they should be it comes up with receiving in the bottom left and freezes, i have to ctrl+alt+del the game. Well when I go into Device Manager it only shows the 6600GT so I assume its using that, and the monitor is plugged into it. Â The AGP setting has been upped to 128 on the bios too, as thats what the card has. Also @Guba the game aint lagging or anything, not tried it online yet but its just strange cus it seems to be something to do with textures...

I have bought ArmA Also Quakewars will be out soon along with call of duty 3 so they will also be good titles. Thanks for the comments folks I appreciated every single one of them

Oh dear, I dont want a flame war to start and hope it wont So lads and ladies....cus apparently they play games too keep the war on the battlefield I'm going to look in town today for ArmA and see how it gets on with me, im hoping that I can fetch my flight skills across but im getting a feeling that ArmA has changed the way of flight too.

I have 2 kids to think off too thats why I want to get it for about £19.99, ive read that the last ArmA patch brought with it some new vehicles. I have a logitech attack 3 joystick, will that work fine for flying ?

Ok i'll check out ArmA later today in the shops, see where I can get it cheap 2142 is currently 19.99 so I think its gonna be hard but we'll see I was expecting bias comments but I knew some people would be able to make a comment without sounding like a fanboy aswell....before I do buy it, what happens when a patch is released is it automagically sorted out or do u come to the ArmA site and download it, also are they free? Do you pay to play this online?

Would you say ArmA is more like the mod Project Reality then?
