    I have seen some pictures showing that reported problem where some plants have no textures and are all white, and I think I know the problem and solution, but didnt test it. First an example. While I was making the extra pack that I released, I was trying to find the textures for SLX fire effect, but couldn't. Later I realized that it was not a texture but a new model. When using that all the fire and smoke seemed like boxes(pretty weird), the problem was that it had no textures for those new models I put in Data3D.pbo. So where are those?? Well... it was inside an addon pbo, one that comes with 'FFUR 2007', that is called 'SLX_Cloud.pbo'. So that is why there was no problem when using this pack with this mod. Now... I think it's the same for that grass problem. Since there arent any more SLX addons in FFUR 2007 instalation, you will need to find wich of SLX addons has that texture and put it in FFUR 2007 addons folder. (Ask Solus, he's really helpfull) Or you could use my new pack on page 16, it doesn't use foilage replacement because I like to use Berghoff nature packs, or in the lastest pack by thunderbird84 when installing select not to use the foilage. For those who want to use SLX fire you will need to get the four 'cl_*.p3d' files and put them in newdata folder before installing and edit the installer to add them. Bye!

I share it because it took me a lot of time to complete, and because it has some diferences with recently released pack by Thunderbird84 (but not too many).     OK! I NEED HELP!!!  I'm making a new version of my selection extra pack. It has more building replacements (let's hope there arent any more), a better installer that works for non HWTL and it has the options to install for HWTL, fot Direct3D, or both. It's going well but... I'm trying to use the Resistance road texture and I cant complete it. I know that 'silnice*.p3d' 8 files replace it, but something is missing. Not all the road gets replaced. Can anyone helpme plz  If this is not the right place to discuss this, then PM me or something and sorry to bother. Â

    Thanks, I'll avoid doing that in the future I don't notice the AI being that hard as in previous versions, maybe the real problem is that they spot the enemy from very far distances, they start crawling and advancing very slow toward the objective. Besides when combat starts all I can see are ants shooting at me, it's really hard aiming to dots that move like crazy.

    Those two errors are nothing really, it tries to delete two things that arent there, I left those lines just in case they do something in another part of the instalation. About the black smocke that comes from destroyed houses, it looks flat so I tried a lot to remove it, but couldnt, it seems to be the same fire texture that's being used with black color, so to remove it you have to take out the 'fire.*.paa' files. You will be using FFUR's fire wich is pretty good & wont have that flat smoke. Thunderbird, Is it the same thing if I run FFUR as a mod or runing the exe changes more things? When using HWTL some soldiers seem too bright, they have a lot of shine on them, this can be seen better at sunset (18:30) If you mount the aimpoint while swimming you will get stuck in water

    456820, Glad you liked it!!! The intention was to replace all the houses, but it seems I couldnt find them all. If you or somebody could improve it that would be great. In the end what matters the most is to have the best pack and easing thunderbird's work a little  ---------------- If you people whant I could upload my selection of cwc islands replacement but it's 179 mb it uses naturepacks european for malden along with 1024 textures & nordic and pack2 for the other two islands with the new textures from WGL (I think) Let me know if anyone whant's it

    SimraN: It never installed a desktop icon to me, maybe its from an old version. Go to flashpoint installation directory, then to 'ffur2007' folder & run the '.exe' file. (that's what I do). Everyone: Here is the link to the extra pack that contains a selection from various sky packs. Basically it's what Thunderbird gave but in small size and some changes that are listed in the readme along with credits to the authors. No credit for me!!     Hey thunderbird & everyone!!! I've made an extra pack by selecting cool textures from all the current packs, also, it contains the houses from resistance replacing the cwc ones. Do you whant me to upload it somewhere so you can all try it?? It's only 12 mb.

    -The fuel trucks and the fuel station have absolutely no fire when exploding ( and they say 'Warning! Flamable' ) -How do you activate the old huge explosion from FFUR 2.0? -could you tell the names of the .p3d files that change the houses for Resistance ones & the moon textures? I dont like many things of the extra pack (like the sea texture that disables reflections) and woud like to use those things with my old sky replacement. thanks

    Well... I played it for a while and it's really cool. It feels diferent than previous versions, a lot better. Thank's for this masterpiece!!! Some thing to report (sorry): 1- US Sniper: it has a very shini uniform, in the mission 'Sniper Team' it almost looks as a golden soldier. 2- Mounting the aimpoint refills your bullet cartidge 3- The US chinook has old textures, but now soldiers ejecting do open parachutes (phew!!! 4- phisics are still weird, throw agranade to a car to see if fly away at super speed. That's it for now. Aniway they are not serious problems & this mod totally rocks!!! Thanks again to you & your team.

    @Tobruk If the problem you have is that the water is all white then I had the same problem, but it's no 'FFUR', It's 'DXDLL' water reflections when you are not using 'Direct 3D HT&L'. Try deactivating the reflections & other water effects. @Thunderbird So much work, from not so many people...amazing. Waiting anxious here

    Thanks for the info Thunderbird84. And people, I wasn't complaining! Just wanted to know what happened. I've always been happy with his decitions (except for that explotion ) Â EDIT: Just spotted a weir bug, Phisics became totally weird Try throwing hand grenades at cars to se them fly away at lightning speed and enormous speed. Also this makes really fun walking inside the huge sea ship, you barely touch a wall & it starts moving.(looks like the titanic sinking). But this makes really useful for pushig boats back to the sea!

    Thunderbird84, Did you read my previous post. It had some questions & bug reports. Please give it a look. Also, I remember That you said, the new acu model were going to apear with or without kneepads & other things to make them look more varied. I didn't notice that ingame. Great news on the patch!!!
  19. Hi there Mr. Souls, You have a lot of intresting thingies in there like that amazing sky. I've been making rough atempts to make your sky install like a normal skypack putting your newdata files in llaumax newdata folder & running his installer, it works but there are some problems... can you make one (if is not a problemo Also I've seen that you dont use Begoff nature packs & I don't plan to stop using them since they really change things. Is there a way to remove your islands or could you implement these to create diferent feeling for different islands... Anyway, I really like what you have done

    Finally got in the forum!!! Hey Thunderbird, this mod is amazing! Is the most intresting of them all. There are not many games that focus un current war (they keep throwing us WW2 games), so this monster you' ve created comes really handy. Anyway... I've registered to report some bugs to help you in your mighty crusade. Chinook - this chopper has a serious bug since version 2.0 of the mod. Soldiers in cargo positions dont open their parachutes when ejecting & fall to make nice bloodsplats. Stairs - the bug already reported of going up stairs (nothing serious) only happens to the new models of west ACU/BDU units that you created. The spec-ops & other soldiers that use the same legs have this problem, but not snipers & pilots, since they have other legs...maybe that's the problem. AK snipers - this still hapens but is hard to notice it, but if you play in the intro island you will notice it (anyway it doesent bother me, just reporting it) Also could you add the old big-o explotion from the fuel stations to the all efects config? (it was beautiful) It's ok to load your mod from a recistance shortcut or your exe does more stuff? :pistols:Keep killing those nasty bugs you keyboard wizzard... And thanks to you & your team for the great efforts.
