    Would you give any info you have of obtaining "pirated copies" of BI games.. to them?

    It forces the card(s) to stay in a high performance state (maximum power usage) as opposed to downclocking when the card decides that it doesn't need as much power.

    The problem with Arma 3 is that even though the game needs maximum power at all times, the cards (at least Titans) insist on downclocking (when they shouldn't), which in turn lowers performance.

    No doubt this will get fixed in a future driver but for now, forcing it through the profile is a quick fix :)

    Also: A default Windows installl will set the pc Power Options to "Balanced", which enables any "Bios" settings for "throttling". (Most Bios have this set to ON)

    You should go to Power Options in Windows Control Panel and set it to "Performance" while gaming, that should disable throttling of the cpu and gpu (max performance).

    Trying those now, maybe I did need a reinstall of DX with the new video card.

    edit. still getting the same error, I went as far as to re'dnld the game. all video drivers, game beta's on/off, had my gf sit in my lap, still......same DX error.

    I've tried both an ASUS GTX285 & 260,

    sadly..I went ahead and upgraded to an EVGA GTX550 Ti "Superclocked", I cleaned all drivers completely out and after plugging it in, the game did on 1st launch!

    I tried the underclocking video options as bn880 mentioned in another thread, still..same error.

    I'm still confused with the error, after installing beta 314.14 I was able to play for hours. I closed the game..reopened and it played.

    The next day the error was back, uninstalled all drivers thru device mngr, let windows auto install 314.07 and it played on 1st run, but upon restarting the game, the error returned.

    I hope I will not have to rinse/repeat everyday.

    seriously: What job do u have, what do you earn a month?

    After a few hours of game play, my error has returned the next day.

    DX11 error : Error creating pixel shader :

    DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

    I've tried about everything from DirectX, Nvidia drivers ect ect.

    It's a shame, after actually playing on day 1.

    Using a GTX260 314.07 drivers.

    One thing that may help is the game loads with Nvidia 3D enabled, which seems odd?
