Lots of folks are like that. They barely have time to game, much less frequent forums and/or have a social life. We have a few in our group like that.

It's rare that I use those, but I would believe you are correct with "feature". I always change them to semi after stealing from a corpse.

Most missions are not setup to change anything, it is just a preview of what you will be starting with.

Sometimes you may have to "save" or "rearm/take" to make them stay. There are many options to that feature within the mission design. Do you have a particular mission we could check?

You can only change them if the mission/campaign was set up for it.

AMEN! It's easy (childish) to cheat...but stopping that cheater makes a better challenge.

that is why a couple of us believe it may be the "admin permissions" issue, since he stated...

^this^ if you are using Vista or W7. Battleye needs proper permissions allowed to work correctly. (right click ArmA2 icon and choose "run as Administrator") or.. right click it, then click properties and you can find the option "always run as admin". edit= other wise read the post above :)
