  2. Hey guys! Thanks for your warm replies! I'm really happy to see many have enjoyed it. :) I am sorry for my late reply but I have been very busy! So here it is. @[Topgun]: Thank you very much for your kind words! My spec are a Intel i7 930 2.8 GHz CPU, 1 GB ATI HD Radeon 5850 OC'ed (bottleneck), GIGABYTE P55 mobo, 8 GB DDR3 RAM and finally a 1TB SATA-600 independent HD (somewhat-bottleneck - another 1 TB HDD for the game). I'm considering a SSD to minimize stutters which I get with high intensity of AI and so on. @Litos: Hey man, thanks! Well - the truth is that I probably struggle just as much as you do; the AI drivers are HORRIBLE! I experimented with placement on a straight for 30 mins and found out that if you put the trucks on the LEFT side (wrong side of driveway), they will automatically align and go MOST OF THE TIMES straight ahead. If you put them sensibly to the right and on correct path, they will swirl around for 30 secs before getting a grip of reality lol. So basically I have no secrets but the fact they like to start on the wrong side of road. Else I did 10 re-tries to get them close enough, else they tended to have their own damn idea of life :D. Thanks a lot for all your replies gentlemen! More will come soon, and one tribute for at least Rolling Thunder!
  3. I did it mate :). And the funny thing is that in the first 6 hours it got accepted then rejected then accepted again like a piston. Now it finally seems to have calmed down to be watchable for all. :D Thanks for the advise nonetheless.

This is a new chapter in my videomaking, and I hope it is not in the wrong direction. :) It is my first action-packed promotion video.   7. So finally it happened - RiverStone is, after fighting intensely for two whole campaigns in a row, once again victorious. Two videos I will upload will mark the ending of one of the most intense campaigns in Charlie Foxtrot history. The first video shows RSi's photo shoot. The upcoming video, which will be released in a few days, will show both armies together in a common photo shoot.   8. Footage of my current role in the tournament, behind-the-lines helicopter pilot!:) This is from the last battle last Sunday, Battle 6. We finnaly got the lead over our opponent thanks to this battle and the great teamwork the whole army put together, as well as constant resupplying. ;) Quite much interisting and low sneaky sneaky landings in the enemy land..oh...and some mistakes by me as well...can't leave them out.:) Enjoy in 1080p!   9. Campaign 6 was finished last month and Campaign 7 have started well - in every campaign, the two sides does its own "photo shoot" to mark the ending of a campaign. Sadly, my side on the BLUFOR, RiverStone inc, have lost the two last campaigns. However, our minds have never been darken and our backs never broken, in fact - we are stronger than ever and will never give up - the mentality is in a way like it was during the blitz, the more the pounding the more stronger we reject it.   10. Hello folks! I'm having a specific movie-making issue I would love to get sorted. First off, is it possible to create the initiating camera script to move to a specified location, all with the different data like zoom, focus, and all the X Y Z positions, without making it a static "cutscene" camera, but still a moveable one? What I want is to have the camera start at the specified location, made by copying data from clipboard, and continue using it as a normal camera.sqs. For info's sake here is my clipboard info. ;=== 18:01:08 _camera camPrepareTarget [24700.47,-89594.68,28355.68] _camera camPreparePos [5370.55,4325.69,0.20] _camera camPrepareFOV 0.177 _camera camCommitPrepared 0 @camCommitted _camera Basically I want the camera to use that excact location and its data while still being able to be moved around, making camera shakes etc. Any help is really appreciated! If this is possible my work style can be improved a lot and oddities will be erased! :) Any questions please ask! EDIT: I am not looking for the ordinary cutscene style. I know how to create that. What I want is simply to move the camera.sqs to a specified position with all the data I get from the clipboard.   11. Thanks! I'm going to try it out! Am I not supposed to put all these codes in a single sqs file, like "angle1.sqs"? And then activate it by trigger, is that possible? Also, I'm a bit confused about this message: //run "camera.sqs" and right click the specific position you want Am I supposed to right click after the camera has been created, to make it move to the specified position? I'll test it out now, hopefully you can tell me if I'm doing it correctly. EDIT: I did not manage to get the camera.sqs to move to the specified position.   12. LOL Cain. I'm not a scripter, so I cannot help you there. I only know how to use the camera, but I am desperate after making it move to a predefined position.
  13. Finally, after hours of editing and re-editing, my first ever battle video of Charlie Foxtrot PvP tournament is here is here. :) Hopefully the style and music is just right. At least the battle was! I'm commanding the BLUFOR M1, with two M2's as allies and a T72 and two BMP's as hostile armour, and of course plenty of infantry and choppers. Part 1 Part 2 Filesizes are quite high for great quality (first vid 735MB and second is 325MB), so waiting a minute or two to let it stream is recommended. I might try and reduce filesizes in coming videos, but quality weights a bit more in priority...so you can actually SEE something through those reticles! Good and bad feedback is always nice and helps a lot. Enjoy!

    Stuntman Presents... The Assault Starring: Dave, SomeBloke, Azzenie, Chris, CHIRSO and Stuntman. Filmed LIVE without arrangement at the SLR-RPG server! Three videos on the way as well! One is nearly finished. :) Description After failing to blow up CHRISO in his car, Dave, SomeBloke and Stuntman assault the Sahranian City Hall. Their goal: destroy all personal documents and info about them to avoid prosecution for the failed assassination. The plan is to rush in and out in minutes without firing a single shot: a walk in the park. But the possibly over-confident plan soon turns into a disaster. Someone must have called the police: sirens are breaking the tense silence; they are coming! What will happen to our fellow criminals? Will they succeed in destroying their personal files to avoid proscecution? Or will they be hunted down like fugitives, fleeing for their lives? And what about CHRISO, who survived the assassination and being the only eyewitness? How will he determine their fate? Will they even survive? Watch to find out!
  16. Hello guys. First off, I would say thank you to BIS for this lovely new script addition! Secondly, I have just managed to get unitcapture and play to work, by using Big Dawg's sample mission. I'm making a teaser and need some help with use of formation. Since it uses radio triggers, I will have to manually start all choppers one by one. My question is, if I want a chopper formation to work together simultaneously, with perhaps the same or not the same path, how do I make this work in a single radio trigger? I know I need a slight delay on all aircrafts following the leader to avoid a collision, but how do you create this delay for everyone, in a single trigger? If this does not work, I will have to manually activate the individual paths of every aircraft one by one. This is something I would love to avoid! Any help would be greatly appreciated!   19. Hey. I got the game yesterday, installed and patched up to 1.02.51834 or similar. When I enter Multilplayer, I see no servers and noone can join my hosted server. I have no filtering on as well. Its like my game cant connect to the Internet. I have no firewall, I have forwarded port 2302 in my router. I have LAN connection. What might be the problem? Any help hugely appreciated!

  23. Hello guys. I'm using a vehicle respawn script in a MP mission I'm making. Its ported from OFP. Its not the built in ArmA script, because in my script every individual vehicle will respawn at its starting position. My problem is, when there are more than me on a dedicated server, the vehicles respawn more than once. If there are 5 people on, 5 bmp's respawn for example. What can I do to prevent this to happen? I'm not on my mission pc right now, so if you need the script receipt, please tell me and I'll get that posted. Thanks in advance!

  25. Didnt get any such hint message on a dedicated, but respawn still bugged. You have any idea? Is it conflicting with arma respawn script? Annoyingly even with very little respawn, that I only killed the tragets 2 times or so, they still after some time respawn multiple times at random times.
