    playwithsix or web version is mod folder, @F16C_Standalone.

    but Steam is only one pbo per one subscribe, so make two files.

    My fix for the above was simply to restart PWS.

    Thanks heaps for bringing the F-16 to A3 btw...it made 2015 a good year already.

    BTW, +1 for the mentioned comments about afterburner/cockpit sound key bindings


  2. Finally i got around to start making missions on Panthera !!

    But i ran into one little issue that makes my MM days a bit frustrating.

    Its regarding the script HOUSEPATROL by Thope, which is i have used quite a lot for previous arma maps/ islands and lately on Altis.

    However, on Panthera the inserted units beceom invisable when the line for executing the script for housepatrol is placed in the units init ? Its really strange as i can see the marker "rifleman" in front of me where the unit was placed, but for some reason its invisable and also not moved into the buliding. If i take out the init execution the unit is there as any other editor placed unit would be.

    Have any others tried using this script on pantherea or elsewhere getting the same odd behaviour ?

    I also noted that some the scrpits creating civ ambience also not seem to work on Panthera, but this is not fully tested so i can not confirm this yet. I just thought it may be related.


  3. first we need proper flight basics

    Very true, was doing some training again last night with fixed wing ( kind of been busy with helos since the DLC ;) )

    It feels very wrong having to pull hard on the stick just to make the plane turn when allready banking 60 degrees..

    Also i noted that applying full brakes no longer holds the A10 still on the ramp? but with F18 ( mod) its working fine.

    Quite difficult to take of in a 2 or 4 ship flight when you cannot "run em up" and release at leads command.

    I also miss an autopilot function to allow CAS pilots to be "heads down" working with target information, maps etc..just a simple function to allow the plane to stay in same altitude and bank if possible.

    I am fully aware that this is not suppose to be DCS, nor should it be, but some sort of autopilot except the auto landing ( which i DONT understand the need for) would be appriciated.


  4. Just reposting this here as my issue/request/hope seems to be in CBA hands.

    If this is the case i would assume supporting joystick inputs for mods would be of Great Benefit not only for taskforce radio

  5. This has been a topic before but about 150 posts ago so i would like to raise it again..

    Is there ANY way to manually configure TFR to be used with Joystik PTT buttons. Or some other workaround NOT involving a third party software emulator.

    The great thing now is that Arma supports more or less all joystick buttons ( even the thrustmaster hotas) but to enable use of PTT and TFR one has to emulate the keys in another software.

    If that could have been avoided by TFR directly using joystick inputs it would just make the world a better place...

  6. I got a few issues.

    The first one being the reason why i post here ;)

    I for some reason are not able to log into the feedback tracker.

    On first log in, i get this: Your account may be disabled or blocked or the username/password you entered is incorrect.

    When trying to reset my password ( yes i may very well have forgotten it) i get this on the first try : Maximum number of in-progress requests reached. Please contact the system administrator.

    So what i was in fact looking to check the feedback tracker for is this. It might have been reported, but my searches did not come up with a relevant thread.

    I noticed that for the AH-9 Pawnee the rocket pods are now hanging in the air without attachment to the chopper, nor did i see the guns ?

    This is confirmed by many in my clan.

    The second issue i came across last night its concerning head movement when sitting in the back of the MH-9. It seems that head movement are "locked". Im using track ir and thought at first it was something related to that ( and it migh be) but even when Track ir turned off i could not move my head. Note when exiting the helicopter it all worked fine again, and also when sitting in the front ( co pilot/ pilot) of the chopper.

    Just have question regarding the latest release.

    I installed using Six and i see no changes in the userconfig files. Is that not updated and can be left as is or do i need to dl and update that manually?

    I did not see any differences in the userconfig "spoiler"

    The reason why im asking is this : - NVS and TWS properly used now (set as opticType = 1 to enable longer engagements)

    I have a bit of fear that the enemy might be a handful if they use TWS properly. More or less all fixed/ mobile CSAT weapons in A3 has TWS. Its not like we are walking over the ai now :)

    It is possible to turn of TWS in the mission, but its either a big job or remove ALL TWS possibilites for both enemy and friendly.

    So just thought to have the ability to turn on/ off "NVS and TWS properly used now" might be an idea if not allready there.
