    Haha - nice one! A section attack is a lot easier when you put 10 rounds of HE air burst on the hill first! I love the "crump" sound of the arty too!
  9. Great to see you're still here, Shadowy!:bounce3: Having a blast (literally!) with Viper's Artilley system. If you don't have it, you've got to get it! Advancing to contact... Watching HE air burst come in...you can see some of the bad guys in the distance Surveying the damage...no one survived the artillery strike. The "drop shorts" in action ;) One of the diggers... A -Aavark SASR, AAW Steyrs, Swiss Faces, ACE OFP Islands, Iraqi Republican Guards, Warfare Objects, Stewy's Base (unrl), UK Camnets and Viper's Artillery!

    I don't think it 's legal to do that and also A2 models are more complex than A1 models... Have you got the UK landrovers and WMIKs that can downloaded? That'd be a good start if you're after some Brit kit? Cheers

    Most don't - you need to know what you're doing with configs and models, etc to get them to work and also need the permission of the author... The good OFP addons - the creators have already said "no" to conversion or have moved on. The lesser ones don't look good in ArmA anyway...

  14. G'day guys, I've tried for ages to try and do this - but is there a way to modify the orange goggle texture on the A1 delta soldier models to clear? For some reason - thost bright orange goggles really irritate me! Cheers

  18. G'day guys, I don't know if Al Simmons and Tiger are still on the forums - so I haven't asked them for advice/permission - But I don't think this is drastically modifying their work. I've been trying to add to the config so that are few individual objects (currently stored inside an ammo box) are individual items that can placed on a map - i.e. instead of placing on the map an ammobox (full of drugs, cash and documents, etc) I wanted to be able to place a passport, gps, or pda computer in the mission editor so that I could be able to search for/recover it for a mission. Is there a way to add to the config to make a placeable (in the mission creator) object and be able to pick it up and store in a magazine slot?) I don't this would be very hard for somone who knows what they're doing - but I'm just trying to teach myself config work. Here is the config:
  19. G'day guys, Just wondering, has anyone had any luck with using custom faces for the great Pedagne Mod troops? I was hoping to use custom camouflage faces with the Italian troops - but haven't had any success. All of the troops have white faces - but I can't see a face line in the config that would be able to be modified. I sent Arremba San Zorzo a PM - but I don't know if it got through. Cheers guys Stew
  20. Hi Lupo, Thank you for the quick reply. I was asking because the Mountain and Grenadier troops look cool with the feathers in their helmets and thought they would look even cooler with camouflage faces. Oh, well, not to worry!   23. I've spent a good couple of hours retexturing my Latvian troops (personal tex). It looks like I've just gone crazy with one sheet of texture - but the vest is a separate texture and is slightly different in colour and lighting... You can see the colours are a lot better/more authentic than the originals: A - Stewy's Latvians (unrl), Aushilfe G36K, CAT Afghanistan, Wipman and Swiss faces ;)
  24. Nice pics, Instagoat! A real combat pic - 2 Marines in an old hay-shed pinned by 2 Opfor 200m away. I'm trying get eyes on the buggers with the binos. The AI guy looked straight at the camera and I thought, "What a great pic!" A - Marpart Marine, ACE Ivtaliac, Milkduster Darkriflle, Swiss faces and binos ;)
