    Vit has his Ah-1 beta out. The default texture comes as Marines gray I believe. Just do what Avon Lady said. Search for Ah-1 and look for the one by VIT. It's an awesome chopper, still a few bugs, but nothing that harms performance.

  6. There's no way to force the AI to aim higher than it would to fire a normal AT missile only with the javelin? Just wondering... are the optics on the javelin model correct? If you look through the sights at the tank it goes in the ground. You have to go back to normal first person and put the tank in the crosshairs. Having never fired one I'm not really sure.
  7. Has anyone looked into fixing the optics on the javelin so the AI fires it right and not straight into the ground?

    Just how hard is it to change the SIG M1A2 to the new one by inq et all? I know Pappy's got a snippet for the config to do it, but that's for y2k3. Forsee any complications using that snippet in EECP?

    Any pictures of the D model? All I've seen so far is the A. I just want to see how the radome looks on it. A model looks awesome though. Keep up the good work. Oh. What insignia do you have? I can do a little net surfing and get some more.

    Teaming up sounds like a grand plan to me. I downloaded this apache awhile ago and thought it was pretty good except for the way too high pitched rotor noise. I liked a lot of the features and little details. The startup checklist is pretty fun. But yeah... the warning klaxons need to be in chopper only. Great work Marco! Hopefully you and KS can get together and make some magic.
  15. Either the marine pack or the lav makes my sound crap out. I removed both of them from my addons folder. I'm going to see which one it is and I'll get back to you.
  16. One of the gas tanks on the turret doesn't move with the turret. It just stays in place regardless of how the turret moves.

    Well it seems like instead of replacing the chopper with the crash model in a "killed" event handler you could do it some other way relating to it's altitude, if it's damaged, whether or not the engine will work, etc. I think if the chopper reaches full damage it should be considered "blown out of the sky." Meaning the damn thing exploded in a big giant fireball. Having the engine die and the chopper hit the dirt is a bit different.

    Is it possible to make the crash models vehicles? I'd assume what you said that if it is possible it'd be rather difficult to implement. Okay. I'll try to describe what I'm thinking of. In chronological order. 1. Chopper is damaged to the point where engine failure occurs. Loses altitude. 2. Chopper hits ground and is replaced by crash model with pilots inside. Continues smoking. 3. Allow the pilot and gunner to open the canopy and clear the crash site. 4. Random time and chance of explosion. (Simulated cook-off of fuel/ammo) This should probably depend on how much damage the chopper took before it crashed. Possible? Yes or No? Edit: Kudos on the tail rotor script. The ECP one is pretty good btw. Maybe take a look and see how they did it. (Well... it looks good anyways. And it's easy to change.)

    Well if you get rid of the ejection stuff is it possible to make the crash possibly survivable? Like maybe a 20% chance? (Don't know what the actual survivability of a heli crash is... probably depends on way too many variables to be sure.) I know that DKMM removed ejection in their Mi-28 and their Commanche. They used lock/unlock commands depending on altitude and speed of the chopper. Although from what Bobcatt said Ruskie choppers have ejection. I heard that they blow off the rotor and then actually eject with ejection seats? Anyways... no ejection in the Apache would be cool as long as you make it a possibility that you could live through the crash. Oh... do you have a tail rotor failure script? It's always fun to see a chopper spin around in circles trailing smoke while losing altitude.

    I like the engine startup noise from marco too. It's just the rotor sound is totally off. Oh yeah. I agree. The blur that most mods use is actually too blurry. The rotors are more defined in real life.

    Hmm... yeah it sounds about right, except where the sound repeats itself. Anyone with audio talents able to make it sound less obvious?
