  1. Few new updates : We are happy to announce we have a new member joining our team Londo . He is a terrain map maker and is currently working on a map of Khe Sanh , Which will include the Khe Sanh combat base, Lang Vie Sf camp and even includes the boarder area of Laos !! As soon as he releases some screenshots I will post them here :) Also Bigstone has stepped down as lead dev to spend more time with his family. And I have once again been asked to step in as Project Lead. I want to thank bigstone for all the hard work, leadership and time he has given to bring the mod into Arma 3. The alpha is a testament to his time as lead dev and I hope that he returns to the team in some capacity soon :) But for now its business as usual. The team is making really good head way with our weapon arsenal , with new models being added by eggbeast and Von Knudenberg with updated custom stereo sounds as we push toward our bravo release.Tetet has been working very hard to bring our aircraft into game and Razorback is back into map making again, this time centered around doung island in the rung sat area. Pookie has also been hard at work porting and fixing his m113 fleet. Physx has sent him grey and mad ... but has got them in game and working well, still needs weapons and testing.. that's about it for now.. more to come soon We are still seeking need help to move forward so anybody with config , texture or modding experience please contact Eggbeast or Myself ...   2. The TS servers are run by the EW clan , I have no say whom is removed or added in this case . I suggest you PM Eggbeast and talk to him . Requests like this should not be done on a public forum that everyone can see :confused_o:

Well, let me set it all straight so we can all take a big breath and "Wooosa!!" @ Chas Gate, mate I said I like the idea and wanted to see it in game i understand what you were getting at :) .... I will not go into the comments of my team mates but please understand they are under a lot of pressure to get this all working . They are frustrated that all the blood, sweat and tears we put into version 2.6 to future proof the mod , only to find out that most of it has to be completely redone "Properly" to get it to work in Arma 3. We are working off a trial and error basis since limited or no documentation exists to assist the guys how Arma 3 works. To make an addon is hard, but doing a complete conversion mod is a very daunting task ... Please don't take it personal we are bombarded daily with requests which sometimes can be demanding for new content and the famous "are we there yet ? How much longer " posts here and there really grates on some of the team members. Soon however , this may all change as the PR team is putting together an "Open house" mod . Which means there will be open video streams and commentary by the Devs showing how and what we are working on and doing. It might give an insight into how involved it is to bring the mod to arma 3. We will have Q&A sections too so all ideas, questions etc can be answered.So we are really looking forward to opening the doors so to speak ;) Also we hope to host tournaments as we bring together clans from all over the Armaverse pitted against each other with live feeds for the public to watch as they battle each other in the jungles. Cause hey its easy to nail someone at 500 meters in the desert ;) I'm personally looking forward to host Zeus missions to see how dynamic the clans can be and how they react to changes in the battlefield ;) Anyway rest assured there are good things coming :) Peace Sav

This will involve creating new ways to promote the mod, reach new audiences and get our name outside just the Arma community. We are not a monetizing mod so if you thinking of $$$ please move along. You will have a good sound knowledge of: Youtube Facebook Steam (including workshop) Other social medias Personal requirements: Able Work within a team Able Keep Confidentially with a host of affiliates and associates Build relationships and network with gaming clans not just in the arma community but similar milsim genres Sounds like a job interview!?! hey I'm not paying ya!! :D All we can offer is to become a member of a great and upcoming mod that is focused in making the most authentic,claustrophobic, intense & atmospheric Vietnam modification ever made in a game.   9. Hue was slated to be unsung 3.0 so we a bit off but hey this has been years coming. It seems we are making headway and it looks like it might actually happen so fingers crossed ;) Anyone that can model buildings/ street objects etc, also additional map makers will be needed PM me :)

  11. I know it well , it was a blast!! better than VC 1 IMO but sadly we would be leaving ourselves open if we did use that content. No we will do what we always have "Build it our damn selves " :)
  12. Some of us in the team has been discussing the feasibility of making a Hue urban map complete with the MACV compound and hue citadel. This is a big project and the team is currently bogged down with the A3 port. We will need a map team, building modellers and texture artists to pull it off. However most of the Altis buildings have a striking resemblance to Nam style architecture and could be used , with slight changes like signage etc So if anyone is interested please PM me...Only serious modders need apply Here's a Doco of how it could be ;)

  15. Ok well it's seems this question has starter a stir :p :) Anyway the reason it could be too dark could be one of the following: A. The position eg longitude / latitude may be set differently than Altis so try and adjust the date a bit and see if it helps. B. Again time of month is not where the lunar full moon cycle is on altis C. The dense canopy of the forest blocks what little light there is shining through D. Adjust your brightness and contrast settings , max brightness and back off contrast to give a more realistic look. If none of this works then we'll I dunno we will have to check to see if Indeed you have found a potential bug.
  16. Its actually doubled up in the furthest north east side of the map only. I noted this years ago and told the author of the map CSJ but it was already done. The Ground texture on sea needs to be recolored or updated it doesn't match the foliage it seems washed out .. :P

  21. Ok let me stop this before it starts again..... Let me make this perfectly clear once and for all... The team has stated many times in past posts that the unsung will NOT be specially configured to work with other mods.. The team is hard pressed currently making all our A2 content work correctly in A3. We simply do not have the time or resources to make it compatible with every other mod out there. So if it works with other mods good... if not too bad. Simple as that . Our main focus is on making the mod work as a standalone full modification for arma 3 only!! This in itself is a massive feat.... ask anyone that is involved in a FULL modification team like ours. I'm directing this to the community as a Whole not anyone directly. Please.... don't ask again it only antagonizes the team. This has been put to bed... Thank you Sav
  22. Will have to see what we can use, but the foliage I'm guessing will be used in new upcoming maps down the track On that note we are seeking map makers to recreate some areas of Nam for future releases, anyone interested pls contact me or bigstone
