  2. Yeah we all want it changed too but its up to BIS . I did ask them to make an opacity setting for the water in a future update but will have to wait n see. Egg has been under the pump , what he means is we are at capacity changing and fixing what we can. We have quite a big backlog of work and ports from A2 and the boys have been hammering away at it , this engine has been the most challenging of all the titles we have modded. We will get to it don't worry its just a question if we burn out first, or they commit us to the looney bin first having configuritis (a SaV word :P ) , or flashbacks to the days of OFP :wacko: Either way we are moving forward but its extremely hard to find quality and committed members. But thanks for the support :)

  8. I have contacted him years ago asking for this back before Unsung 2.0 arma 2 release, no answer ... I doubt it will change now 5 or so years later : / Regardless the mig15 wasn't used in the war AFAIK maybe as a trainer only.
  9. Instead of coming here with a lame comment , if you took the time to read my first post on this thread that it REQUIRES APEX to show the bushes and trees you would realise what the issue is. As far as lag nobody has mentioned this issue before about charlie release , in fact everyone has commented how the frames have increased since bravo so I'd there's something else going with your system or configuration.

  11. Don't take it personally, your about the 100th person whom asked this ;) . We are looking at putting it there if we can sort out the rights clause that's holding it up. People please understand if the team is on edge its because of a few things you may not know or have considered: 1. We been working really hard to bring this mod to you the community so you have new content to play with (For free) 2. Spending countless hours turning into days, weeks and months. Working with a small team (whom don't get paid BTW) 3. Constantly having to rethink and redo our work after every update, hotfix or patch BIS releases. 4. Modding that at times feels like a job which is tedious, monotonous & repetitive 5. Bringing forward a COMPLETE CONVERSION mod not just a few guns and a few uniforms. 6. When the mod is released SOME not ALL like to have a whinge and say this is broken , that is lame blah blah blah. Everyone in the team feels the same and I guarantee ANYONE whom joins a mod group like our and works as hard as we do , to have this happen WILL react the same way my team mates have. We take it as a slap in the face and well it gets to us sometimes. Now lets look at our mod and what we have accomplished : 1 . We are the oldest surviving Mod in the Arma series myself being the last original member from its inception in 2004! 2 . Have made 6 major releases spanning across 4 game engines. 3 . Have produced the most realistic,atmospheric jungle mod to date in each and every title. 4. The first mod to use and release APEX assets in our maps for the community 5. Have never given up or shut up shop and have relearned 4 different engines and how to mod them, each one progressively harder than the last 6. Offered a massive amount of content each time we have made a release. 7. Never charged a cent to anyone for the new content. While we understand there are those out there that are genuinely trying to help we simply don't have the manpower to correct every little detail. Only major game breaking errors will be looked at just after release. I will try and organise to open a public section of our DEV bug tracker account so you can post you bug reports there so that the same bug is not reported multiple times here.   13. Unsung 3.0b - Released !!! 27.05.16 We are proud to announce that version 3.0b has finally landed. It has taken a little longer than anticipated however, the mod has undergone a massive overhaul since the Alpha version. We have added a great amount of new features and content to keep you busy until charlie release arrives. Expect Unsung 3.0b to still have some bugs it should be considered a WIP release and not final , as we progress though each subsequent release to bring the most atmospheric Vietnam experience to the arma universe. We have also included a optional uniform download pack. It is not a requirement to run the mod but we highly recommend it be used to enhance the mod further.   18. It is the same file , its using Vanilla tails to simulate cracking. I will get around to making a custom tail for all weapons as we progress. But its pretty much gonna be how it is now. All the gun sounds have been recorded from real sources where possible.
  19. Razorback has been updating the foliage best to ask him direct I don't have the DLC yet :unsure: But apparently at night the jungle on tanoa is too bright ? We now have the Tanoa foliage but have kept our maps dark .... In most cases you gonna need flashlight and or starlight scope to navigate on our maps at night ;)

  21. I fully aware why the DSAI module is spitting errors . I intentionally remmed the sound files out in the config because I need to fix the actual sound files. That's why the engine cant find it and its popping up with errors. It will be resolved it in charlie release.

  23. Not at all we are receiving no commissions or anything from BIS... The only donations we have received was from kable whom bought royalty free models for us to use in the mod and for you the community to play with..... that's it. The reason we intend to use tanoa is Simply there's a lot of assets in this DLC we can use to make the unsung that much better.. I can't be any clearer than that. Look back a few years , how would the mod have played with just only Arma 2 content and not anything from OA? And for the record I don't even have the DLC yet and have to fork cash out to buy it just like everyone else ... Also, for those who asked for a lite version etc ... That's not gonna happen sorry .. too much work stuffing around with a side project when we are already stretched too thin trying to make the main project. SaV
  24. *Unsung Community Announcement* In response to the Tanoa DLC release, It has been decided that future unsung releases will in fact require the latest DLC from Bohemia ... The unsung has always used new content and assets from these packs to make the mod a much more in depth jungle simulation. And I'm sure most will agree the tanoa foliage will definitely enhance the experience. To those whom do not want to purchase the Tanoa update, Unsung 3.0b release already has a lot of content to keep you going and hope you understand our decision.
