I never said that dlcs will cost something... do I? :confused: I describe it again: it will be one core version which is needed as a base platform for the next content... nothing more... I can also say a patch for the core if it sounds better... DLC = Download Able Content... so where do you see that I will sell something? -

Big Mac you are right with the kiddie-theme... Thats why I stopped playing Bad Company 2 and 1 now... But something like this, talking about the theme of BC2 would be a cool thing for ARMA2 I think... I also don't want to have cheating kiddies... It is a totally important thing you mentioned here... A actually plan I could image would include following: - 3 maps using desert Island for the BEST performance in MP... (mostly urban) - a few new weapons: G3A3, G36A in desert camo for the US Troops and Galil and K98 for terrorists - new textured US Troops in desert camo - 2 different game-modes, all in all 6 MP-missions And later if the package is popular maybe additional DLC with Winter Maps, Camos and Weapons and so on... Does it sound good? But it would be a project for me with no high priority... I will work alone on it... My team is buisy with Conspiracies Substance... -

@ck-claw: Maybe I will release these also for ARMA2... I got 3 weeks of vacation now... Maybe I can release some stuff in this time... I will see if I can release the stuff we are talking about in a useable way... It should be a system like CRD. One Core and additional DLC to download... SO I could release let's say 3 maps with weapons, vehicles and units and add more maps and so on later in DLC's when this package is really that good... -

OKay guys we completed the gameworld now... we got 16 places to discover: - 3 villages - 1 industry-complex - 1 electrical center - 1 hospital - 1 dead forest - 1 old military area - 3 stalker-camp - 1 helicopter crashsite - 1 sawmill specific places: - Hills of Destiny - Point Finalground - Chucks Helicopter Also 20 additional places to discover while completing missions... SO we can count on a release this year! @Wiggum: I designed the Dialogue system completly new... so you will be surprised^^

You made my day pofu! the Lifesimulating module was developed by me... but i think it is only sp able... its a script which is running continuously and forces the player to eat, sleep and find warm places (cuz it plays in winter)... so you need animals to eat, fires to wearm up, and beds to rest or sleep! also the sleeping script is shitty in MP... is skips the time for 4 hours... so not doable in mp.... -

we need some bots, traders and enemies... would be cool if i can get a script to create enemies only for an accepted mission and then delete them... so the bot counter keeps low... also some animals for the lifesimulating system are needed... -

thats a good question... atm we are developing on arma 2. it wont be a big fish to port it over to OA i think. yeah and the scripts were not that difficult i first thought... about the tech demo... I got another idea for you guys... I will implement some of the scripts in the new patch of CRD-Core. What do you say?^^

I will maybe release a TECH-Demo in near future. But I am not sure if this is really that insane. Because a technical-demo just represent the working scripts, some gameworld and maybe 2 or 3 missions... what do you say? Another point would be the big size about 1 gig maybe^^

no it is one campaign but including all the elements of the 3 dlcs!

important news for you... I decided to cancel/change the development of the DLC-Projects and create a standalone mod including the elements of the DLC's. So the 3 future DLC's for Rising Dead are now ONE standalone mod. I will open a specific thread soon, when I got first infos and material to present. REASON: I discussed it a long time. We come to the conclusion that the new scripts and addons we will unclude will work better in ONE mod. So the creepy thing with compatibility were out. Also the development-time is shorter. Also we have no gameplay-changing elements between the DLC's... We have more possibilities. The changing quality of the DLC's would be history. Because we developing new scripts and ideas we finally want to give mod a high quality gameplay + atmosphere. Everyone is getting smarter within time so we will put our new experiences and critic we got into one project. Anyways these long names of the DLC sounds stupid somehow^^ So be up to date! And don't worry, everything we promised about the DLC's will be done in CONSPIRACIES: SUBSTANCE
