LOL :D But at this point a special thanks @poolpunk for this amazing metal object pack, and I know it's not the end
-
Yes, these objects were assembled from individual parts. But not the trees ;)

Not a bad idea to share some "constructions" with you, but all the object packs are "WorkInProgress" :-/ So, maybe later. Silola

Yes and yes  We working always together. Mostly each evening. Sometimes with 2 people, sometimes with 3 or 4 people. It's simply a multiplayer session and each member can see (live) what the other members build. Each member creates his data local, but at the end of the day all the data come together, and will imported into TB, to create then a new version of the map. That's all. Silola

Hi, I have done a little scouting trip on the X-Cam prototype map, and saved this journey in a two-part video :) Please note that all what you see is still WIP. Part one : Part two : The slight stutter of the video caused YouTube. Sorry. Greeting Silola

Hi, again ... thanks for the nice comments :) That is absolutely correct. The Xcam is not a miracle tool. The ideas and creativity has to be created by each user. Ok, the Xcam encourages creativity, but You must still work with sensitivity, specifically for all types of structures. You have also to know how the objects react after import. Some objects have to be adjusted manually (within TB), as there are differences in the Z axis. This is especially true for large stones or other large objects. If you work with a team, then you need at least one person that has experience with the official tools. This person then organizes the import and produce every day a new version of the map. But you should also remember that each person of the team has other ideas, has his own preferences, is more or less creative, or just has his own vision of how a particular area have to look on the map. So it's been a bit of a challenge to work in a team. But if you have a good and balanced team, then it's just fun to make a map together. Unfortunately I can not answer that question  There are still a lot of unfinished areas within the X-Cam. In addition, a comprehensive manual needed to respond to all the functionalities. Alternatively, I would like to do a series of video tutorials, because in a video I can explain a lot of things easier. But no matter which option I choose, it requires enormous amounts of time, and actually it is just a hobby and RL always comes first. Also there is much room for improvements and other functions, and I'm not sure if I still intended to optimize the code before the release, or should I do this work later, because there are always people who have to complain about everything and around everything :( Greeting Silola

Yes, there is a search function, as u can see at this point of the video: What also helps in this regard: Favorite functionality & "GetWhatYouSee" function Silola Edit: I think t-800 was simply overwhelmed by the size of the object library:p

Hi, it's no secret that many details need more performance, and few details need less performance. Maybe it's an option to create two different versions: one version with high object density and one version with normal object density. I will think about it  [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] Greeting Silola
