What about Hawks? -
I don't think that AC-130 will be some kind of terminator ingame. Modern MANPADS or light SAM systems been put in different unexpected places may become serious treat to this plane. So, its missions can be not only 'shooting range - like'. The main trouble is to teach AI to operate it properly.

Allthough it's a reskin, these units should have more worn-out and dirtier clothes.

Hmm... I don't see a reason to argue, guys. And, moreover, to think about addons protection. Because I remember only few cases of "reverse-engineering" of somebody's work (models, textures, scripts etc.). In all of them those people who tried to use other's work in their own projects without permission or mention were quickly identified as thiefs. So, open structure of pbo files even helps to find quicker if somebody's models/textures or any other part of addon is used without permission. -

I've got the same problems and something else: wrecked Fuchs has no textures in game.

I'm voting for complete armies in DLCs but not for 'couple of soldiers, one jeep and chopper', and accurate representation of all weaponry, uniforms, armor and aviation (not some future variants where every soldier has rifle made for SOF only).

All this have been made in "Sudden Strike" mission editor some years ago. You may choose side ("player's", "friendly", "enemy", "neutral") for every unit no matter of the country of its origin. I wish the same would be in ArmA...

That's not SAM but 80-mm rocket launcher (12-round). -
I was interested by one question - why UK MoD have chosen another variant of Stoner AR as sharpshooter rifle rather than refurbished and modified SLR? Both of them are .308 caliber, both have semi-auto fire mide. Wouldn't be such SLR cheaper than new L129A1?

Nuclear weapons? Would be used? Seriously doubt in it. Nobody wants to make useless hazardous wasteland anywhere, especially now, when human population grows but all kinds of resources decrease. As for the Hornets, I was surprised that Royal Navy again wants to have full-scale planes but not STOVLs only.

It would be much better if those PMCs will be armed with some M4/AR-15 versions (with Magpul/VLTOR or some other parts) and upgraded 7.62 AKs like those guys in "Hurt Locker" film. -
And what about MiG-23? Will it have more polys and loadouts?

Confirmed, it works, but there are some issues with textures (cockpit glass, missing texture around numbers in soviet version, rearming doesn't work and some others). But it flies very well.

It's better to wait until full version of this plane will be released :) I hope with more variants of camo and signs.

Very glad to see this warbird ingame:) One of the most needed aircrafts in ArmAs IMHO.

Me complained:D The whole game needs to be taylored to "perfection" because we, British people, Rissians, Czechs, Germans are the customers. And we pay for it. If it would be some free mod - you are quite right, the authors' view of the content is the priority, because he does it for free and in his free time. But here it's the paid product. And I don't know any successful business which is based on the "if you don't like it - don't buy it".:rolleyes: Such attitude to customers leads to one thing - the end of business. -

Any probability of the competition between devs will be only better for us. Without it we will have only old bugs and a bunch of soldiers for 10 euro. -
It was said that many of us will buy DLCs with content having enough quality for its price. But looking at the situation with debugging of original ArmA2 and OA I doubt that BIS can make now something significantly better than modmakers.
