Syria - What should we do if anything?

Perhaps rebels are supplied with NBC protection stuff to prevent casualties while using CW against gov forces and in such false flag operations.

Syria - What should we do if anything?

None of the 'Assad did it' version supporters gave an explaination of why Assad would do the thing which is the shortest way to foreign intervention and loosing the power.

According to simplest logics - he had no benefits from that CW use so he would not use it. According to media hysteria and some officials - Assad is so Assad, he's blody dictator that kills his own citizens for fun.

You know, we have our own snackbar guys in southern regions. And some of them are already involved in Syrian mess. They may return back, but not alone - with their new friends, after getting more experience, money and gear in Syrian mess. So the more snackbars die in Syria - the less of them will appear at my own neighbourhood. That's the fourth reason. Europe does not have jihadist rebellion (at least now), we do. And we have to do something with it - prevent other countries to become safe heaven for them for example.

In war. But anti-terrorist operation within Syrian borders conducted by Syrian government may not be justified as war.

It is widely known that dictators like Assad are dumb enough to make such things. At leas that's how they are shown by the media.

Yeah, nice firework but after it many media outlets and civil rights observation groups start a craepstorm about bloody dictatorship that shells its own citizen just for lulz and destroys the houses of innocent civilians. Sure they don't say that this houses were converted to rebel positions.

Yes, there may be some makeshift lab been hit. Just like many ammo dumps, IED factories that were placed in civil houses or rebel positions in civil appartments.

There's no any irony about Obama&Kerry's words, they can say everything about their rivals at elections just for getting the voices. And it dors not matter that their words will have any value after elections. Oh and it's pleasant to see that more people here start thinking that Assad is not just mad dictator and things are more complex than it is told by media.

Army of the Czech Republic DLC

Well if BIS does not have time/will/resources to fix ACR, should they give the sources to community for making fixes by ourselves?

    Taviana Island for ArmA 2!

Have you used this mod? May island be used without full mod?

    DDAM full release

I wonder if there is any ace-independent version of this mod?

Business is kept alive not only by short-term income.

Giving up the solving of old bugs for the sake of making new products with new bugs and getting some money for it had become usual BIS business strategy from ArmA1 release till now. So why are you still rant about unsolved bugs in ACR? The only more or less complete game I know is OFp, other titles are left with tons of bugs for the sake of getting more cash for new ones.
  15. Guys, do you have any will to create unified weapon packs for both P85 and 'weaponholders' addons? As far as I know now both packs have many common weapons but still there are some weapons that are included only in one of the packs.

Fully agree - there's nothing to do with porn. Main problem is wrong parenting.

I'd repeat, you can already make your own filters with both hardware and software methods, it's only a matter of will and some time. So there's no need for any extra filters at ISP level.
  18. Thanks to the help of my parents I bought this hardware finally: Intel I3-3240 (22 nm), 8 gb of 1600MHz Kingston RAM (had 4 gb of 1333 MHz), Gigabyte GTX650 OC edition 2 gb (instead of my GTS450) with 600W PSU instead of my old 450W. Mobo I bought is Gigabyte GA-B75-D3V. I suppose it's not bad base for further upgrades, better than my mini-atx socket775 platform I had. Next step will be SSD with some I5 CPU.

So I would leave this stuff to parents. Either they control their children's access to web fully or let the children surf freely. Other regulations and filters hitting everybody won't be useful.

3G modem I use for web access has some built-in filters. So it's up to me to decide what sites can be accessed via this modem.

Well if the parents do not have the time or especially the knowledge to take care of the children then they shouldn't have them. I may configure the web access in such way that my child will access only trusted sites at home. As for outside... There are many other nice things to do rather than surfing the web, so no smartphone with wi-fi/tablet/laptop - no problem of controlling the child.

Eh... I have the same antivirus at PC, laptop and smartphone, so it's not impossible to configure it. So it's only about time you need to spend on it. Oh and don't forget that it's not mandatory to provide your child with internet-capable device. I'd say children until 14-15 y.o. have nothing to do there. "Don't let the children surf the web, it becomed more stupid because of them"©

Optional filter? Turning off the p()rn? But what about parental control options and such soft as RAdmin that already exist for ages in both OS and antiviral applications? Today you can fully control your child's PC if you want. It's only a matter of will. Do it yourself and don't leave the care about your child to ISP.
  24. Nice to hear that P85 gets some attention. Will it be ArmA3 only or will we see some stuff for Arma2 OA? Also what about passanger capacity of OT-62? If I'm not mistaken this APC can hold from 12 to 16 troops.
