    I all ready made a request, but I also second scfan42's request for new pilots. It would be cool also to have new US tank/apc crews to compete with redhammerstudios beautiful East tank crew addon.

    Yeah but don't they use their own Configbins? I mean you can't them except with those mods right? And certainly not FDF with CSLA? Correct me If I'm wrong, I haven't had time to dl either of those mods yet. I suppose if they can't do that perhaps I would then change my request to Anti personel mines. I know Chain of Command all ready has some but they require triggers to use. What I'd like to see is AP mines that work just like the BIS anti tank mines, just place and forget.

    I'd like to see a realistic sized BMP1 and BMP2. Perhaps with betters sounds and a few scripts. The default BIS ones are to big.
  4. I was just trying to get discussion started about RHS's upcoming tank packs. Does any one have any info about em? I guess since i'm here does any one know if anyone is making some M60s with ERA or if there is one all ready out? I think I saw an Israeli M60 on a site once though I'd kind of like an American one.

    Thanks for the info miles Teg. I'll try to get hold of Sigma and ask about An ERA M60, though I figure he's probably too busy on the Russian tank packs to start making another tank. By the way everyone, I've been using the search feature but the results I get almost never have anything to do with what I'm searching for.

    Mission ideas

    Personally my dream game would be a combination of the Enemy Engaged series and flashpoint. I can see where a lot of people would rather play a scripted campaign for the story though. Right now we have 3 modes of play: Single Mission, campaign, and Multiplayer. I think the solution is simple, add dynamic campaign as a 4th mode of play. Everyone gets what they want then. The game still has single missions and the 3 scripted campaigns plus a dynamic campaign generator. I honestly think a dynamic campaign would raise the lifespan of the game to near infinite. A dynamic campaign would send the replay factor into the heavens. The real question is how do you use addons in a dynamic campaign. Following is my theory for implementing user made addons into your campaign. Now as for the formations in the campaign if at the start you could edit them. For example the campaign your on has 20 enemy formations on the island, 5 of which are Motorized Infantry equiped with BMPs,BRDMs,Urals,and UAZs. Well when you start your campaign you can select one of the formations and it brings up a list of the vehicles and troops in that group. When you look through the list you can substitute out units for other units of the same class. So for example, you could swap out one or all of the BMPs in the selected formation with that shiny BTR80 you just downloaded. I hope I made sense.

    It sounds great. The only thing that I don't think I could get into is the "rubber" bullets you mentioned. You put forth a compelling argument (body armor and such) but It seems just too every other game on the market for me. I can't stand games like quake and battle field for a gazillion reasons, but one of the top five is weapon damage. I love Flashpoint because it's one of the few games where if I shoot some one they die, rather then having to shoot them 5 to 10 times. I'm still definitely going to try this when it's released though.

    I don't know if Sigma post here, thought I'd try any way. I got your T72s,T80, and US tank packs along with the RHS T55 pack. I enjoy them all, good stuff. I was looking at Red Hammer Studios site and it seems your reworking your tank packs for an update. So I figured I would post 20 questions and see if I get a response. 1. Based on current progress, about what time do you think we might see the first release? (I'm sure your sick of that one but I had to ask) 2. Will they use the current RHS tank crew or a new one? 3. Will you be releasing an updated US tank pack for them to fight? 4. This is a long shot, but if question 3 = yes is there chance for a new RHS made crew for the Yank Tanks? 5. Are they all going to be released as one huge pack, or several packs based on a certain model, Ie T80 pack? 6. How will they measure up against your currently released packs as far as damage and armor is concerned? 7. What kind of research do you do to figure out their scale for the game? (This one interest me because I notice the BIS BMP is too big, So I wonder how you go about figuring out how big your tanks should be.) 8. (Speaking Of BMPs) I know your a tank man, but Is there any chance down the line you might create some to scale IFVs and APCs to support your tanks? 9. Do you enjoy making these addons, or has it become a chore? 10. Is there a chance of a seperating turret script like the recently released BR-T? If so what kind of force does it take to blow the turret off? ( Personally I think it should be nothing less than a LGB other wise too Hollywood ) . 11. If you make an updated US tank pack, is there any chance of some desert M60s and maybe some with ERA? 12. Is there any thing individuals in the community can do to help? 13. Will infantry be able to ride the T62s,T64s,T72s, T80s, and T90s like they ride the T55/54 in that pack? 14. DKM's just released Challenger has a script for handeling a Loader crewman. Any chance of this making its way into the T62 and maybe a updated T55 pack. 15. If yes to 14, will an updated US pack possibly use it for the Abrams and M60? 16. What got you into making tanks for OFP? 17. Does it bug you when people ask you questions all the time about your works in progress? 18. Are you looking forward to OFP2 and the rumored extra features such as multiple weapons on a vehicle? 19. Will your tank packs be out before OFP2? (I know, I know this is sort of a rehash of question 1.) 20. Who else if any one works on the project with you? Any how just thought I'd ask.

    Greetings From beautiful Cancon. By the way no more super dark non gamma corrected pics from me any more. I got a copy of Corel Draw 9 today so I can actually touch up my pics. Hey Nilz thanks for telling me about the exec "camera.sqs". Its pretty cool I actually use it now to watch AI vs AI battles unfold.

    Â Â Here's a non BAS Blackhawk pic for every one. I like the BAS stuff to but I got to admit the Blackhawk and Little Bird pics are so redundant. Â Â On another note any one know where I could get a tutorial on how to make and use cameras? I would like to make cameras to use for picture taking like you guys have been? The only cameras I can make are with triggers and they are neigh impossible to use effectively. Â Â Hell it was difficult even getting this BMP pic. I was a civilian in the middle of the street and nearly got run over.

The AI can't hit any thing with the LAWs, RPGs, M136s, and carlgustavs. I've done a lot of trials observing AI engaging BMPs following careless move waypoints on desert island. It doesn't matter what JAM missile launcher or what ammo (all purpose AA and AP) they use. They end up shooting way over the tank. They can't even seem to hit a parked tank. Every once in a while they "accidentally" hit an enemy tank, the key word being accidentally. It seems to be a common problem with addon makers that none of them can do rocket launchers correctly except for Kegtey. The Marine assault pack's SMAW launcher and RPG16 (I know not JAM but still) do this also. So far every time I get a new addon I have to unpbo it to replace the rocket launchers with BIS and Kegtey rocket launchers. Any how any one else have this problem? Is there a patch for JAM being made?

    Ok I love jam and what it does, but there seems to be a giant bug in it. The AI can't hit any thing with the LAWs, RPGs, M136s, and carlgustavs. I've done a lot of trials observing AI engaging BMPs following careless move waypoints on desert island. It doesn't matter what JAM missile launcher or what ammo (all purpose AA and AP) they use. They end up shooting way over the tank. They can't even seem to hit a parked tank.     Guys i'm not flaming any one I'm just giving constructive criticism. Seriously I love JAM2 and I think its an exellent idea. If I didn't care about it I'd just shut up and uninstall it. I don't want to do that though cause it works well, the rockets just needed teaked a bit. Â Â I tried a test with 17 AI men with M136s at about 50 meters from a careless BMP2 on desert island again. I ran the test twice, (17 men + 3 missiles each = 102 missiles, in additon all AI were set to maximum skill) for each class (M136,M136 All purpose, M136 AA, and M136 AP). Out of 408 missiles fired total from all test only 1 hit the target. Â Â Personally I think BIS's missles are way too accurate they never miss. JAM I get a 1/408 ratio and that is way, way too low. Â I would expect that from the AI if they were set to minimum skill but not on expert. Â Â here is a screen shot from one of the test so you can see how close they were to the BMP. Â Â Â Once again I'm not flaming you guys, I can't stress enough how much I love this mod. I think it's particularly awsome how the LAWs are actually carried in the unprepared position and the telescoped to fire. Â The only problem I have is the accuracy that is just so bad its obscene.

    Here is one from a mission I just made. It's definetly nothing special but hey. Its the first mission I've made with a briefing multiple objectives and an ending so I'm sort of proud of it heh heh. Any how hope the picture works I've never posted a picture before. Oh yeah and sorry its so damn dark. I don't have a good picture editing program any more so I could't change it, maybe if some one feels like it they could brighten it up and repost it.

    Thanks that actually worked. I can tell you all ready I love this board. I mean I actually got an answer, and on the same day none the less. really though thanks. I'm really bad at mission making, hopefully I can finally get better now that I know a place I can ask questions at.
  21. Ok I used the search feature and couldn't find the answer so now here it goes. Â Â Ok I have set two objectives, on a mission. The first one is a trigger with on activation, "1" objstatus "done", and the second is another trigger with the on activation, Â "2" objstatus "done" . Â Â Here is the problem, I place a third trigger that is meant to be the end trigger. I put in its condition field, "1" objstatus "done" and "2" objstatus "done" . Obviously this doesn't do any thing but give a error message. Â Â Basically I'm trying to make a End1 trigger that activates when all objectives are complete. Â Could any one help me? Â PS... Sorry if this questions been asked before. I'm sure you are all sick of stupid questions. I honestly searched the forum and OFPEC but I couldn't find the answer to my problem.

Any how here it is in the "right" forum, so now I can see some feed back... Hi this is my first post here I hope Quaker Gamer reads these. I've been trying out addons, mostly I'm looking to get some British Addons. I downloaded a challenger by some one who's name I forget and it was terrible so I deleted it. The next day I saw QuakerGamers and tried it out. I'm pleased with it, but its not perfect. The following is my critiq of qauker's challenger. It isn't meant as a flame, infact I mean it as constructive critisism. In fact I compliment this tank fully, and you should all try it. If the following are fixed I'm serious it'll be equal to or better in quality compared to the stock tanks. Any how here are my observations... 1. When the driver turns out there is no hatch, he is just welded to the tank with a square sticking out behind him. 2. There is a glitch when looking through the optics from the commanders postition where mouse cursor will get stuck off to the left. When the glitch happens you cannot effectivly command your crew or pick out targets. 3. When hit the tank doesn't darken. 4. Also when looking through the optics from the commanders position, you can see bad clipping though some of the superstructure of the top of the tank turret. The following two I might be wrong about. 5. I did some test by firing on the challenger and having it shoot parked empy T55's, 72's and 80's. It seemed to have a very weak gun and its armor was as weak as the T55's. I could be wrong, but I just think are English brothers (I'm an American) designed a very good tank, it seems like it would be stronger than that. The following concerns the UK desert Infantry that came packaged with it. They are exellent except for one glitch. The UK Engineer (M60) crashes the game. Also, I could be wrong about this one I'm not certain, but can the SA 80's scope really zoom in and out like the M21? I figured it would be like the G36 in the game. I could be wrong though Any how I hope you don't take this as an insult. I actually like the tank and think it shows a lot of promise, thats the reason I decided to post my observations. Any how thats my two cents. oh PS... if you do upgrade your Challenger Addon, do you think maybe you could add an UK Tank Crew to the infantry pack? PPS... I'm new here so might I ask what is permisable to post in the Addons complete forum? I thought that's where you would post feed back and info pertaining to addons?
