    So any progress on the Ghost Recon Faces? I know Registered fugitive and extraction were working on converting some. Just curious if any one else downloaded the zip and if any kind of co ordination is going on.

    Windows XP System Restore

    Does any one know how to delete restore points for system restore? The other day I screwed up my sound card drivers and did system restore to the most recent save point, which luckily enough was the day before. After the restore everything was fixed and alright again. I was curious and opened system restore again and looked through to see how many save points are kept, and boy there are a lot. While going through I noticed that it creates a save point before you install pretty much any program which is nice. I was wondering though, how much disk space do each of these save points take up? I have a lot of them. Any way I'm just curious if you can delete a save point? If so how.

    Just thought I'd point out a few things  People that pose for these lame wannabe pictures and then post them on the internet really boost my self esteem. No matter how big of a dork and loser I am, there is always a group out there some where, willing to post a picture of them selves and other members of the dork guild playing soldier.  Thank you guys. I feel a little better about my self again.

    Thanks, for the quick response. So where is this crew aray? I think that may be the problem as I'm not using the BIS resistance crew to crew the BMP. I'm using DMA European guerillas, so I take it they must be added to some sort of aray in the script? Â Player is east side so the resistance is unfriendly. *Edit* I just tested it out again but this time using the default BIS crew to moveincargo commander, driver and gunner. Interesting, when using the BIS resistance crew they stay in the BMP as they should. I guess I'll just use the default crew to crew the BMP then.

    Group Link II ver. 1.90 released

    I'm having a small problem with grouplink II. I have a resistance squad in a BMP connected to the script. I've tested to make sure they work with the script and they do, sort of. The BMP shows up where the player was spotted and the passengers disembark and begin searching, excellent. Now the problem is that the BMP's commander,driver and gunner also disembark. The BMP is the BIS BMP (resistance) that comes with resistance. A theory I have is that it isn't covered by the script and needs added as a third party addon in the init. I followed the directions in the readme about adding third party vehicles to the script, problem is I cannot for the life of me find the class name of the resistance BMP.

    I thought the yellow square just meant "you're online", I thought every one got it. I guess I was wrong lol.  I'm amazed also,  I'm happy I can manage though. CiA is the the best online experience I've ever had. I've had way more fun the past two weeks on CiA with a 1000 to 3000 ping than I've had with other games in the past, (when I had a better ping to boot).  I get kills also which I didn't think I would be able to do with such a high latency. The final game last night was just me and holodoc, and I managed to get around 25 kills including a T55. I don't care much for kill counts, to me what's important is the accomplishment of the mission objectives and as many players surviving as possible. Still reaching 25 kills was surprising to me, as my ping by that time was about 3500 (windows update was doing something in the background which didn't help my ping at all)  One thing I thought I would mention is that I am moving in the next month, (not sure when but soon). Once I move I might not show up to co op nights for a while as I don't know when I'll have an internet connection again. When I do it'll likely only be a 56K connection. Would 56K be completely too slow for co op? Or might it be about the same as my current satellite connect?  Now for another topic while I'm at it, (I know this post is getting long winded). What was the name of that mission we did last night with the bomber that lagged everything down? I actually liked that mission alot, until the bomber ruined it. Do you think the author would be alright with the mission being DePBOed and altered to change the bomber and remove the music? I would really like to see us play it again, but that bomber has to go. Perhaps it could be switched out for an I16, or if it's dropping paratroopers maybe leave it but then have it deletevehicle after the para drop?  I don't know if holodoc post or read this thread but if you do,   excellent team work on that final mission last night. I think if your rifle hadn't "jamed" we would have beat that mission. For those who missed it, we were engaged in combat with the last few enemy soldiers on a mission. Holodoc had a bug occur and couldn't reload his rifle even though he had plenty of ammo left. He had to resort to his side arm (skorpion) and engage them at about 300 to 400 meters. I had run out of ammo and was firing a makarov, I was also wounded  so basically there was no way I was going to hit anything heh heh. It was a glorious last stand.  Any way just giving a shout out to holodoc, as we were mopping up for a long time there. Excellent team work.

    East Artillery

    I like what your doing, though rather than focusing on adding lots and lots of stuff with COC UA support I think you should focus on just making a 4 unit east artillery pack that is an answer to the west artillery in the default COC UA pack. For example... UA 1.0 pack  | Your East pack 81MM Mortar    | 82MM Mortar M101 105MM    | Maybe CSLA would loan you their BS3 M109 155MM    | 2S1 122MM MLRS         | Grad, It's in one of the ZIL packs.  I don't know of any 82MM mortat addons as of yet. You coul probably get away with using the 81MM mortar over again. Would be cool if you could config the 82MM to be able to use 81MM shells also.

     When in the history of warfare have POWs ever been put on trial? It's such an absurd notion, only a 21st century inhabitant of the west could possibly think of something so daft. What can you expect though, in the west everything is about trials and lawyers.   Personally I have a hard time with the term "terrorist suspects" to begin with. So in past wars were POWs reffered to as "axis suspects." or  "yankee/rebel suspects"? POWs do not get trials, they sit out the duration of the war in POW camps end of story.  When the Jihad is over they can go home.

    Thanks for the games tonight guys. Had a great time. I even managed to kill a couple ruskies with my pistol. Probably only the third or fourth time I've ever used a pistol in OFP. (There's usually enough rifles lying close by)

    Cinemaware was reformed 4 years ago by the original founders. So far the only thing the've released that I know of is Robinhood Defender of the Crown. Everything I've heard obout it has been bad though. If you go to Cinemaware's official site they have te original defender of the crown, Wings, Chicago mobsters and all those free for download. I downloaded the CGA version of Defender of the Crown, which was the version I had as a kid on the family T1000. It ran fine except for crashing when ever the jousting screen came up. Bummer. Dig that music though lol. To this day I still have all the Defender of the crown music stuck in my head.

    Basically the players init looks like this "removeallweapons _X" foreach units group this;"_X addweapon {RHS_Throw} foreach units group this" They still can't throw the RGD5 grenades that are picked in the premission weapon selection. I've even tried dropping them at the start of the mission and picking them back up to see if that would fix it. Problem is that once dropped I can't pick them back up. If you'd like I can copy and paste the squad onto desert island and copy over my missions init so you can test it out.

    I loved Desert Strike, though I played it on Super Nintendo and I played Jungle Strike on a Sega. A few weeks ago I thought about creating a Desert Strike campaign on DMA Libya. Since the Apache can't hold passengers I figured you could radio a BlackHawk to come and pick them up for you. Problem is I can't remember every objective and level from desert strike any more. That and I'm working on three other missions currently. Some one should do that though, it would be pretty cool.

    I have a question about the RGD5 grenades in the weapons pack. I've disarmed the players squad with the following typed into the players init field, "removeallweapons _X" foreach units group this I've included RHS_RGD5_grenade's in the premission weapons selection. Here's the problem I'm having, you can pick them in the premission phase but once the mission starts your unable to throw them. I've tried dropping them and picking them back up but even doesn't bring back the ablity to throw them. I've tried putting "_X addweapon {RHS_RG5_grenade}" foreach units group this after the remove all weapons part in the players init and that doesnt work either. How can I get the player and his squad able to throw them again? The BIS default handgrenade's work just fine, it's only the RHS_RGD5_grenade's that aren't working.

     I'm not sure which ones Extraction is working on at the moment, you could just pick a folder and start.  Perhaps RHS could spare some time to convert the 39 Russian faces  Just kidding I know you guys got a lot on your plate right now. I agree with you, they could use a tad bit of sharpening.  Any chance of a small update for each of the RHS infantry packs in the near future? Just to implement Llauma head model perhaps?  I don't understand, do you mean intellectual property?

    I don't think I have the newest version either. My resistance side one looks just like that but doesn't say FIA on the turret.
