I remember when I first played the original CS. The only way I could get kills was by shooting people through walls with the Heavy Machine Gun. Although it was sweet getting a kill, it wasn't really satisfying. I would rather have seen my victim(or victims, if I was lucky ) fall. The only place I even remotely had a chance was a Newbie Server. It had a script that would kick anyone who got about 12 kills, 'to protect newbies'. Newbies generally find it very hard to get that amount of kills in a single round, even against other newbies. I eventually stopped playing and moved onto TFC (I'm hoping they'll bring TFC:S out, sometime ). Not because of cheaters or 12-year-old geeks, but because I couldn't get anywhere in it. I guess I must have left just before the aforementioned cheaters and geeks arrived. *Imagines vanishing from CS Land, and a split-second later, pimply-faced, slobbering kids and teenage punks with shirts saying 'ph33r my 1337 sk1llz n00b!!!1' arriving* [Gareth Gates must die]

Wrong. I'm not 'mad' about Halo 2 or Half-Life. I think they're damn good games. I never said anything about Half-Life being 'the best game in the world'. But if you want to think that, then fine, whatever. A fanboy is someone who thinks that a single particular game is the only game in existence and any other game sucks. Fanboys suck. Half-Life fanboys suck because they can't see that there are other games out there besides Half-Life. Halo fanboys suck for the same reason. OFP fanboys suck also for the reason stated above. If I play HL, Halo, Operation Flashpoint and a host of other games, how can I be a fanboy of any of them...? [Gareth Gates must die]

Yeah, I like TFC, too. I used to go on all the time, then I slowly weaned off it after getting some new games after Christmas. Now I'm back on. The thing is, I am so damn rusty! I can hardly kill anyone! Unless I go an Engineer, or a Spy... that is, if nobody somehow sees through my disguise (happens 90% of the time). Well, I'm off to practice some more. See ya! I think it is, yeah. Same with Half-Life: Source (the original Half-Life that uses the Source engine). But don't worry about it, I'm sure that VALVe will release the other game packs later like they did with the original. Half-Life Platinum is out there which contains the original game, Opposing Force, Blue Shift and every other well-known mod for it. It'll take a bit of time, but I'll play HL:S someday. If you think Half-Life 2 is going to be a shoddy sequel, you obviously haven't looked at the Bink gameplay videos. Not only do they show off the source engine and the ultra cool graphics, they also show some kick ass combat sequences, as well as some non-combat areas of the game which look brilliant. I want this game NOW! They've been working on this for ages, they want to get it right, and with all this time spent on it, refining it, fine tuning and who knows what else, this game, I'm sure, will set the bar for other games to go by for years to come. Also, I hope it won't mean 3 million patches (like OFP). [Gareth Gates must die]
